We went to this ice cream parlor because we saw a recommendation online. The ice cream was very good, but the waiter serving the outside tables wouldn't let us sit down because he said it was only for orders from the menu, even though the terrace was empty and it would only take us 5 minutes to eat our ice cream! We definitely won't be going back to a place like this. I'm giving it 3 stars because the ice cream was good, but the service of not letting us sit down was terrible.

The location is truly beautiful, with a lovely terrace overlooking the canal, and it's an easy five-minute walk from the Accademia stop. The service, however, could be improved. The coffee prices are average, but as for the gelato, unfortunately, the quality doesn't justify the price.
Being in Venice, the place certainly benefits from tourism and the panoramic view, but beyond that, the flavor and quality of the gelato leave a lot to be desired. A place with so much potential, it deserves more attention to ingredients and flavor.

We sat at the table to enjoy our break in complete relaxation. We tried an excellent three-flavored cup and their legendary gianduiotto with cream: simply amazing, creamy, and unmissable!
The service was attentive, and the thoughtfulness of bringing a little water to accompany our meal was appreciated. To round out our meal, we also ordered a lemon tea and a sparkling water.
Considering the splendid location facing the canal and the quality offered, the price is absolutely right for Venice. A sweet break with full marks, we'll definitely be back!

Gelateria Nico alle Zattere is an absolute must-see every time I return to Venice. Their gelato is artisanal, incredibly fresh, and incredibly delicious. For me, it's a must-visit during any visit to the city: without a doubt, the best gelato in all of Venice. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy exceptional gelato while strolling along the fondamenta.
