The outside is very inviting, but after visiting, it's disappointing. The food isn't tasty, the service is average, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

The location is fantastic. Windows overlooking the Piave River, just a minute before entering the Gulf of Venice. Images that evoke passages from Hemingway, or at least without references, embody the essence of the place's romanticism. The staff is genuine and kind; they certainly don't act or use the restaurant as a stage; in fact, whoever is behind the cash register or serving you is the same person you might know outside of work hours. Good, seasonal food; quality fish prepared without the frills or unnecessary frills imposed by the aesthetic but insubstantial era we live in. The grilled eel is masterfully executed. Seasonal side dishes. The fish soup on the menu deserves a special mention. Prices are high, but portions are generous, making it worth sharing. Recommended for those who want to try everything.

A wonderful and very peaceful place

A lovely restaurant with a panoramic view of the Piave River. The lady who looked after us was very kind and friendly. Excellent spaghetti with clams, mixed fried fish, and a freshly made millefeuille with cream.

Excellent lunch/dinner selection tailored to "family" cooking

A classic trattoria in the small port of Cortellazzo. Simple dishes, beautifully presented, and, most importantly, very well cooked. Excellent cold and hot appetizers, a delicious fish soup, and the grilled scampi, prawns, monkfish, and sole are exceptional. Very good value.
