16/05/2026: Fried calamari a bit greasy. Had white polenta for the first time and it was very tasty. The waiter was extremely nice. Linguine marinara not the best we had but still worth trying

25/03/2026: Eating lunch in Italy is a quest, we happened to be nearby because brunches were no longer open. Great experience, they didn't let us order coffee so as not to spoil the taste of the food, they added more frizzante to the gingerino, "because we've known each other for 5 minutes and then as friends") the fish was great, we ordered more portions because it's small, but the kids liked it. Delicious, 15 minutes maximum (there were not many people), thank you for feeding us

09/06/2026: Good restaurant, courteous staff and in keeping with the environment, old tables placed on platforms, in line with other establishments in the area and not with a new and modern concept of tourist hospitality.

05/06/2026: The food was good; we had a cheeseburger and fried squid. The portions were generous. Despite the large number of customers, the service was quite fast, but seemed a bit overwhelmed, probably due to staff shortages. The outdoor terrace is pleasant and comfortable even in warm weather thanks to the parasols. We especially enjoyed the tiramisu and the espresso. The prices are a bit high. Overall, a nice visit.

06/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and had an overall positive experience. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly.

31/05/2026: The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the restaurant was child-friendly. The price was okay, though the portions were rather small. The only downside was the €3.00 cover charge per person.

07/06/2026: Positive experience. On the recommendation of the owner of the B&B where I was staying, I went to this trattoria for dinner. It's an unpretentious place, with a clientele of tourists and local workers. The menu is excellent (as pictured), fresh fish, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. For anyone reading this review, it's definitely worth a try.

05/06/2026: We really enjoyed our stay. The service was very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The quality was excellent and the atmosphere lovely. You can eat both indoors and outdoors. The wine selection is good.

16/08/2025: Since it's a wine bar, I expected a wide selection of wines, but when we asked for a bubbly, they couldn't tell us what they had, and then, after asking, they told us they only had a Trento. The waitress, although very kind, was clearly a novice and couldn't handle five tables: we had to wait 20 minutes to place our order for a glass. I did, however, see some nice cocktails and platters.

20/05/2026: We have been coming to this restaurant regularly for several years, and during our stay we repeatedly spent around €200 per evening for four people. We are not the kind of customers who write negative reviews after one small mistake. Quite the opposite — we kept returning because the service used to be friendly and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, even though the quality of the food sometimes depended on the shift and the kitchen staff on duty. Unfortunately, this time we reached the point where we decided we will never come back again. It was obvious that the kitchen staff had changed compared to previous days. The food quality suddenly dropped noticeably and everything felt careless and uninspired — for example, the prosciutto e melone was served with absolutely no attention to presentation or detail. That alone we could still tolerate. However, there were several other problems during the same visit. At the beginning, no bread was brought to the table, even though this had always been standard during our previous visits, and we had to ask for it ourselves. The same happened with Parmesan cheese for the pasta — my wife had to specifically ask for it, even though it was a pasta dish where Parmesan would normally be served automatically. These may seem like small details, but details are exactly what separates a good restaurant from an average one. What became completely unacceptable, however, was the behavior of a new young waiter we had never seen there before. After the starter, he removed the plates and literally dumped the used cutlery back onto the table for us to reuse with the main course. Honestly, we have never experienced something like this even in cheap tourist restaurants. We had to ask for clean cutlery ourselves. And then came the final moment that completely ruined the restaurant for us. The next morning, around 11 AM, we were walking past the restaurant. It was almost empty, and our friend simply wanted to quickly use the restroom. The same waiter aggressively stopped him with his hand and categorically refused to let him in — despite the fact that during the previous several days we had been eating lunches and dinners there regularly and spending a significant amount of money in the restaurant. At that moment, we realized we no longer wanted to return. Our usual long-time waiter was not there at the time, so perhaps the management is not even aware of what is happening. But that makes it even more unfortunate that one unprofessional employee can destroy a relationship and reputation that took years to build. Fortunately, there are many restaurants nearby with better food, more professional service, and staff who actually understand what hospitality and respect for customers mean. Sadly, we will not be returning again.

18/05/2026: Great place, incredibly attentive service. Delicious food. The craft beer, 32 VIA DEI BIRRAI, deserves special mention. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

28/04/2026: Review of the hotel - firstly you can't find Pensione wildner on Google. If you find, it will come with a street in campa Salvador and that street has no hotel. That's where we ended up. If you search for wildner only(which we didn't, it only shows a restaurant). The hotel is dated however clean so can't fault that. The AC or heater in the room doesn't work, it works as a fan only which was terrible. We were in room 28 There is no lift in the hotel, wasn't an issue for us as we're only 2 floors up but I am sure it would be a concern for some. The location is excellent as it's right opposite the water taxi so easy for someone coming on the boat from the railway station or airport. City tax is only taken in cash and it's 7 Euros per night (perfectly fine as we had cash but be prepared in case you travel with card only) The worse part of the hotel was the restaurant. No smile from the person, it felt like a fast food place, they come and throw food on the table, Ask no questions. They apparently offer cappuccino but it was coffee with water (perhaps it was from a machine and not barista made). All you get for 2 X people is 2 X small buns and 2 plain croissant loaded with a load of sugar on the top and a boiled egg each. No option for scrambled egg or ask for anything that's freshly made. Canned fruits were provided in Day 1 and 3 - day 2 we were told no fruits. It's at the waterfront but majority of the rooms aren't waterfront. Correct location on Google maps, Working AC, quality breakfast and friendly service would have made it a 4-5 star review. The curtains in the room only close about 30% so if you are tiny bit sensitive to light then you would hate being woken up between 5-7am each day on your holiday - this was the worst part

27/04/2026: Had dinner with friends, local and amazing dishes, everything really good, great research in the kitchen and cellar, the owner helped us and supervised the whole dinner. Wonderful place.

05/01/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place. We had lunch and the food was good. Service was quick. It's a shame we were at a table near the door, and I was cold because the door was constantly being opened due to the crowds.

10/05/2026: I'm sorry but a plate with 4 slices of grilled vegetables, 2 potato rosti that you buy frozen, 2 slices of bread (cold) and two spoonfuls of avocado cream, €15, was really "indigestible" for me.

08/02/2026: Calling it a bar is an understatement. In this magnificent place, we had an unforgettable brunch. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the prices were reasonable for the food and drinks served. I'll definitely be back. Brave.
