12/09/2025: Special place! Pure, simple, beautiful, with infinite hospitality and tact. Very professional and kind staff. The food was incredibly excellent, fresh and delicate. Every dish truly exceeded expectations. A splendid and fabulous location. But the most fabulous thing is the homely atmosphere that reigns here. Special and well-deserved attention goes to the owner: Andrea. A young soul who has been able and will undoubtedly continue to carry on the legacy of this splendid restaurant with excellent skills, quality, taste, and passion. Thank you, Andrea. Thank you to your team. Thank you to your chefs. Thank you to your father, who taught you this profession in the best possible way.

08/09/2025: Saturday, September 6th. Dinner for two. As per reservation, I arrive at 8:30 pm. Upon entering, the place is already packed. There are many people talking loudly, and you're immediately struck by the "festival-like" volume. A standard order includes two appetizers, followed by grilled turbot for two (but the weight wasn't shown before cooking, and the bill stated it was 900 grams!). Everything was very good (for the €27 appetizer, along with the rest, a larger scampi would be better than two small, difficult-to-peel ones...). Bottled wine - Pasqual's Prosecco - a no, definitely not, especially considering the €22 price tag. Service: I'm sorry, but even when there are lots of people, the waiter needs to be more professional (boneless fish on a separate table, out of sight of the customer!) The young owner, a son of a chef, is smart, present, practical, and smiling. The bill wasn't low, but it was in line. Unfortunately, the cellar and noisy room aren't an invitation to return, but they do make you think and consider other options. Let's repeat, they know how to make food here, and they've been doing it for a while now. My memories go to the Gran Bollito di pesce con pinzimonio, from when my dad was driving. 04/05/2025: While passing through on our way home we stopped at this historic pizzeria. First time after the change of management. Smaller menu but some historic pizzas remained and were very good. So good that we bought another one, something that never happens to us. Young and helpful staff. For sure if we pass through Gruaro we will stop again.

01/05/2025: I had booked 10 takeaway pizzas, we arrived at the agreed time, the place was almost empty and we still waited an hour. The pizzas were hard and small. I've eaten many pizzas in my life but like this one I hope it remains a bad memory of waiting an hour, among other things. I won't be going back

21/07/2025: Celebrated my daughter's graduation with friends. Excellent service, professional, friendly, and very helpful staff, great prices. We'll be back. I recommend it for a lovely evening.

16/06/2025: I think the management has changed because the published photos do not represent the current menu. The food is all of excellent quality, the bread is homemade with sourdough and is delicious, the beers are excellent and very particular, the wines are excellent, you absolutely have to try the knife-cut tartare, the homemade roast beef, and the creamed cod. I highly recommend trying this cicchetteria!

24/05/2025: Good fresh fried food but for 12 small sardines and 10 slices of calamari 18 euros is excessive and not justifiable

10/09/2025: Campsite facilities are a bit dated but the level of cleanliness is excellent. Security and supervision throughout the area are above average. The pool is very nice with perfect bar service. The only drawback is the distance from the beach, which isn't exactly convenient.

09/09/2025: Not the right place for us. Traveling with two dogs. The one beach where they're allowed is 3 km away. You're allowed to walk there, not linger, and not go into the water. The other is 5 km away, and you're allowed into the water there. The site is very noisy. Campers are allowed on the site until at least 10:30 p.m. In return, however, no washing of dishes is allowed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Conclusion: If you want a budget-friendly vacation and don't mind the noise late into the night, we recommend this site.

01/09/2025: Excellent experience at the end of August The fried fish was really good, tender, and had a variety of fish. The pizza, too, was thin, crispy, and easy to digest.

23/07/2025: Yesterday I went to this place on the recommendation of other people who were raving about their wine list. Sitting outside, out of respect for other customers since we had a dog, we asked the waitress what wines she could offer us by the glass. In response, she said a white or a red. We asked about the wine list, and it turned out they didn't know anything about it. We agreed to try a Merlot, but were very surprised, considering she'd suggested that we try it. Two glasses of wine on tap arrived, but we couldn't even bring them to our lips. We left them there and they came in to pay. Surprisingly, a list of about 20 wines by the glass was hanging above the bar, and when we asked for an explanation, the answer was "eeeee." Of the three staff members, not one even apologized. We paid for what we didn't drink and left. A real shame, I feel sorry for the owner.

11/07/2025: It could use a makeover, they still have the old wooden counters, they've raised the prices and not by a little, in fact we go there less for lunch. A small plate of roast beef and a small vegetable side dish... 22 euros, no thanks, we go there as little as possible.

21/07/2025: Great local café and pastry shop. The pastries are really good, so are the sandwiches and coffee (they also have soja milk for those lactose intolerant). Service is friendly and fast. The place to get your breakfast when in the neighbourhood 👍🏻

08/09/2025: Lunch on September 6th. Mixed salad at the waiter's recommendation, sour cherry tomatoes and lots of lettuce leaves, perhaps from the day before. Terrible carbonara. A glass of wine had a fly in it (the waiter's explanation was that it was must season). They simply brought the glass, removed the fly, and brought it back to the table. A good thing would have been to bring another glass and pour it in front of us. The glass was recognized because it had my wife's fingerprint on it. Overpriced.
