26/05/2025: In this pizza restaurant we feel at home. Every time we were welcomed like old friends, because we are, we've been coming here for years. This is a Venetian restaurant, the locals come here to eat. Around five o'clock we looked for a place and ordered Spritz and Olive Ascolana and let the evening pass. And later we looked for something tasty on the menu, delicious. Pizza, insalatone, fries, Tiramisu and polenta (if you like that). If you want to recover from a day in Venice in a quiet place, then this is the place. Barbara and her people will do everything to give you a relaxing evening. But make a reservation, because sometimes it is busy. In questa pizzeria ci sentiamo a casa. Ogni volta siamo stati accolti come vecchi amici, perché lo siamo, veniamo qui da anni. Questo è un ristorante veneziano, la gente del posto viene qui a mangiare. Verso le cinque abbiamo cercato un posto e ordinato Spritz e Olive Ascolane, lasciando passare la serata. E più tardi abbiamo cercato qualcosa di gustoso nel menu, delizioso. Pizza, insalata, patatine fritte, tiramisù e polenta (se vi piace). Se volete riprendervi da una giornata a Venezia in un posto tranquillo, allora questo è il posto giusto. Barbara e i suoi ragazzi faranno di tutto per regalarvi una serata rilassante. 04/05/2025: While passing through on our way home we stopped at this historic pizzeria. First time after the change of management. Smaller menu but some historic pizzas remained and were very good. So good that we bought another one, something that never happens to us. Young and helpful staff. For sure if we pass through Gruaro we will stop again.

01/05/2025: I had booked 10 takeaway pizzas, we arrived at the agreed time, the place was almost empty and we still waited an hour. The pizzas were hard and small. I've eaten many pizzas in my life but like this one I hope it remains a bad memory of waiting an hour, among other things. I won't be going back

03/07/2025: ¡Qué decepción! Este restaurante fue altamente recomendado pero la comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Todo empezó con el pan que sirvieron, era horrible. Debía tener un día y no venía acompañado de nada, así que pedimos aceite. Dos de nuestras comidas estaban poco condimentadas y tenían muy poco sabor. Los otros dos pedidos fueron buenos. Escuché a un camarero decirle a una pareja que estaba esperando que ya no tenían mesas disponibles y se fueron; y luego, unos 5 minutos después, vinieron dos parejas mayores y preguntaron si podían acomodarlos sin reservas y dijeron que no había problema. Muy extraño. Para mí, el maître parece desinteresado con los clientes. El único momento realmente destacado fue sentarse al aire libre, junto al canal, y ver pasar a los gondoleros. No puedo recomendar este restaurante especialmente por este precio.

30/06/2025: Servizio ineccepibile. Locale storico lungo un piccolo canale. Riservato. Cibo ottimo, proprio veneziano. Buona la lista vini.

24/07/2025: Prenotato tramite the fork con sconto del 20%,avevano la prenotazione ed è stato applicato lo sconto. Possibilità di menu degustazione o alla carta.. Situato in uno scorcio vicino al mercato del pesce, Ambiente molto caldo, un po' retrò che ripercorre la storia del nome che porta il ristorante! Atmosfera calda e molto silenziosa. Servizio impeccabile, in particolar modo vorremmo complimentarmi con il ragazzo che ci ha servito e che ci ha dato anche piccoli consigli in occasione della festa del redentore! Menu molto vario con piatti buonissimi e porzioni sufficienti.

17/07/2025: Ristorante molto piacevole. Hanno un chioschetto molto bello e romantico. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto molto bene con un ottimo servizio al tavolo. Consigliato.

We liked the atmosphere, the pizza was exquisite, the price was good, the service was excellent and we got a delicious surprise from the Owner. I highly recommend that place to eat in and also to take out. Just Perfect♥️👍

21/07/2025: Some of the worst food so far in italy, no taste, no passion, no presentation,expensive for what you get or don't get. 4 chicken wing drums with nothing for 12 euro, fish with no taste or anything for 16 euro.

17/04/2025: We decided to walk the Grand Canal on our last night in the city. Usually I’d avoid places to eat right on the water, fearing both for price and quality but I’m delighted to say neither were affected here. All staff were really lovely, kind about our pigeon Italian and engaging with our easily embarrassed 14 year old. We had 2 cocktails and 2 soft drinks, 2 pasta dishes and pizza. They had gluten free pasta but not pizza and all of it was delicious. Our bill was €104 including cover charge. This is a bit more than we’d paid elsewhere for similar amounts but not much. View was incredible and people watching potential 10/10. I’d definitely recommend
