06/06/2026: Wow. What a place. you have to stay here to realize this great hotel. We got a suite partialy over looking the grand canal. amaizing.

23/05/2026: The hotel is completely run-down and has seen better days. The floor in the room was extremely dirty. The white carpet was stained with dirt. The bathroom was particularly bad. The shower head was completely rusted and the shower was covered in black mold, even on the walls. We always travel in this price range, but I've never experienced such poor hygiene, even when I was younger and had only booked a guesthouse. I certainly wouldn't book there again. The staff was completely inattentive. No one asked if everything was alright. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

08/08/2026: Very disappointing experience, especially as a family with children. We came to the restaurant as a family of four and sat down politely. We wanted to order two pizzas, one dessert and drinks. We were then told that, because it was evening, a table for four could not be given to us for such an order. We honestly could not understand why this would not be considered a sufficient order for a family of four. What made the situation particularly unpleasant was the way it was handled, in front of our children. We were friendly and smiling from the beginning. We even asked whether we could speak German or Turkish. The waiter simply replied, “English.” We had no problem with that at all and immediately continued in English. However, we already had the feeling that he did not really want to serve us. He approached our table without even having a pen or paper to take our order, and then told us that our order was not enough to justify a table for four. We cannot say for certain whether this had anything to do with our language or background, and we do not want to accuse anyone of discrimination without proof. But as a family, we definitely felt unwelcome and disrespected. We left without ordering anything. It was especially disappointing because we had spent the whole day enjoying Venice and simply wanted to finish our evening with two pizzas and a dessert. Afterwards, we read several other reviews mentioning unfriendly service, and unfortunately our experience was very similar. The issue was not the price or the food. We never even got the chance to try the food. It was the way we were treated as guests. A little friendliness and respect would have made a big difference, especially towards a family with children.

02/04/2026: Hope you like private parties that go till midnight with live music!!! This would be one thing in NYC but Venice all but closes down at 10pm at night. Much like the other reviews the staff was total trash, they completely did not care and acted like we were the problem as loud music echoed through our room like we were next to the discotheque. Moved us to a smaller room and that was only after I went down after my wife. We chose this hotel from delta vacations as it has a 4.5 out of 5 star rating when I asked delta how do I rate it on their site they couldn’t tell me. Maybe you will get lucky they won’t have a big private party and you won’t have to interact with the staff.. maybe… rooms were ok at best as others shared not the cleanest or in best condition I would say it just seemed old. Location is good in general. Should have stayed somewhere else..

29/03/2026: We recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate a very special occasion, as we had just gotten engaged the day before arriving. Prior to our stay, I reached out to the hotel to see if they could help arrange something small for my partner (fully willing to pay), but unfortunately never received any response. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. While the gentlemen assisting with our luggage were helpful and friendly, the rest of the staff were quite the opposite. At check-in, we mentioned our engagement, hoping for at least a simple acknowledgment, but it was completely brushed off without even a “congratulations,” which felt surprisingly cold. We asked for restaurant recommendations for our celebration and were handed a map with just two places circled, with no explanation or personal touch. It felt like minimal effort at best. The issues continued at checkout. We had left our bags with reception, and when we returned to collect them, we were left waiting for over 20 minutes. We had a boat taxi booked, so this delay caused unnecessary stress and we had to rush the staff to retrieve them. Overall, aside from the location, this hotel fell far below expectations. The lack of communication, poor service, and indifferent attitude made what should have been a memorable celebration feel disappointing. We regret spending our money here and would not recommend this hotel to others.

10/08/2026: Excellent and super-fast service. We didn't even have time to order before everything arrived within 10 minutes. Not to mention the food, which was also very good. If you're in Jesolo, Da Mario is a must-stop.

10/08/2026: I bake better pizza at home in the oven, it's expensive and "crappy". Let's just say we fell into the "it doesn't matter where I'm hungry" trap. People are being driven in from the street, but here you don't have to wait😱

I truly enjoyed every moment—from the beautiful live music and the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the breathtaking view of the lagoon. The food… was a work of art. Please extend my gratitude to everyone in the kitchen. I once worked in a restaurant kitchen during a busy season, so I have some understanding of how demanding that job is and how quickly everything has to be prepared. Yet every dish I tasted felt carefully crafted and made with genuine passion. I honestly enjoyed every bite. There was nothing unnecessary—just pure, clean flavors and ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. It was an unforgettable dining experience. I also fell in love with Lido❤️. 28/06/2026: I asked for Campari, it was disgusting, they served it in the wrong glass. There is not a smile on their faces. Last year's team was much better. And last but not least, everything has become much more expensive!

19/06/2026: This place deserves a thousand stars. On June 6th, my husband and I celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place, and thanks to ARABELLA AND ROBERTO, our special day was unforgettable. We trusted them completely with everything: the preparation of the room, the spectacular food, the music, everything was wonderfully perfect... All our guests were delighted, truly heartfelt compliments. We sincerely thank Arabella, Roberto, and all the staff for giving us a day we will never forget. Try this place, the pizza is exceptional.

24/05/2026: A €3 cover charge for a karaoke night that only lasts until midnight is too much. The pizza is average, the tables are too close together, and the lamps are too low—you risk hitting them every time you get up.

28/04/2026: Review of the hotel - firstly you can't find Pensione wildner on Google. If you find, it will come with a street in campa Salvador and that street has no hotel. That's where we ended up. If you search for wildner only(which we didn't, it only shows a restaurant). The hotel is dated however clean so can't fault that. The AC or heater in the room doesn't work, it works as a fan only which was terrible. We were in room 28 There is no lift in the hotel, wasn't an issue for us as we're only 2 floors up but I am sure it would be a concern for some. The location is excellent as it's right opposite the water taxi so easy for someone coming on the boat from the railway station or airport. City tax is only taken in cash and it's 7 Euros per night (perfectly fine as we had cash but be prepared in case you travel with card only) The worse part of the hotel was the restaurant. No smile from the person, it felt like a fast food place, they come and throw food on the table, Ask no questions. They apparently offer cappuccino but it was coffee with water (perhaps it was from a machine and not barista made). All you get for 2 X people is 2 X small buns and 2 plain croissant loaded with a load of sugar on the top and a boiled egg each. No option for scrambled egg or ask for anything that's freshly made. Canned fruits were provided in Day 1 and 3 - day 2 we were told no fruits. It's at the waterfront but majority of the rooms aren't waterfront. Correct location on Google maps, Working AC, quality breakfast and friendly service would have made it a 4-5 star review. The curtains in the room only close about 30% so if you are tiny bit sensitive to light then you would hate being woken up between 5-7am each day on your holiday - this was the worst part

27/04/2026: Had dinner with friends, local and amazing dishes, everything really good, great research in the kitchen and cellar, the owner helped us and supervised the whole dinner. Wonderful place.

14/07/2026: I had 2 mojitos and they were horrible, the guy who made them for me was grumpy, there was no sugar and crushed ice and they were really disgusting and for 2 drinks paying €18 is unacceptable, the only nice thing was the atmosphere and that's it, I will never have a drink in this place again

11/07/2026: I ordered a pizza from Puglia. It arrived at my table in maybe 5 minutes, record time. It was definitely frozen, and the mozzarella on top was rubbery and yellow...INADABLE!! The waitress apologized, telling me the mozzarella was yellow because it had come into contact with the onion and turned that color...but when?? I will never set foot in this restaurant again. The waiters were subpar. I went to pay, and the guy at the cashier didn't even apologize...and I paid for the pizza I barely ate!! Unfortunately, I have to give it one star because there are no 0s!!!

18/11/2025: Small sin to come here as a tourist and take an opportunity to be a part of the little local vibe they have. There are some really nice bars, like this one you can just relax and enjoy your spritz
