24/06/2025: Was here again in 2025 and not much has changed, the prices have gone up a bit, but that's just how it has to be 🤷🏻‍♂️ otherwise as in previous years 😉 Comfortable seating right next to a small canal, normal prices and tasty snacks 👍🏼

21/06/2025: Compared to last year the place has lost all the points in its favor ... I do not argue about the price because when you order you know what you are paying ... the terrible service, I asked for glasses for prosecco and in the end I went to get them myself, I asked for bread twice and when I paid the bill it still had to arrive ... I had spaghetti with mussels and cherry tomatoes and the mussels were not even clean, they still had dirt and algae attached ... small portions and overcooked pasta, it seemed reheated .... Prosecco on tap that seemed to have been washed ... I had to ask for the second order to be delivered because it did not arrive .... The coffee ... asked for 4 times ... ... I strongly advise against it if this is the service ... ... Nice place but the service definitely needs improving

03/05/2025: Menu includes 2 starters - 1 first course and 1 second course and coffee. Very small quantities (the first one must have been 50g of overcooked penne each, fisherman's style). The spaghetti with clams is a little more abundant but tastes like oil and garlic, the taste of the clams has been lost. Second course fried fish (1 sole, frozen prawns, frozen squid) good but there are much better ones for that price. They should cook and offer what fishing offers but nothing real. 50 euros is a tourist price but not deserved. The location is a typical big house but outside they could have maintained more of the naturalness and typicality of the place. Fake lawn and carpets are obscene.

30/06/2025: A local person recommended this to me. The squid ink pasta was better than any I had in Italy! The noodles were authentic. The meatballs that the person next to me recommended were also delicious. I want to go again.

30/06/2025: Lovely place tucked off one of the busiest walking streets in Venice. Great atmosphere with modern art. Good local wines. Try the squid in its own ink.

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.

19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!

20/06/2025: Tappa fissa ogni anno. Conduzione familiare, attenzione al cliente ma senza troppa formalità. Ottimi piatti, preparati al momento. Potrebbe capitare di dover attendere nei weekend, ma ne vale la pena!!!

24/06/2025: Fantastic experience. The decor of the place is in line with the city and the context in which the place is located. Attentive, punctual and discreet service. Excellent food, abundant and well presented. Absolutely recommended.

10/05/2025: Stumbled upon Mira and loved it. Went there twice in a two day visit. The ravioli was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend anyone going there. It’s on the water but away from the chaos of downtown Venice.

19/04/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante (hostaria) después de viajar todo el día y nos probaron y hambrientos. El personal era muy acogedor y amable, dado que 10 . 30 noches muy amablemente extendieron su horario de apertura para servir 2 deliciosos y recién hechos, al chef propias recetas únicas, cenas por la noche, acompañado de su propio pan recién horneado.

10/12/2024: I'll start by saying that I went to lunch eating the menu of the day as a worker; so nothing high-sounding ... let's say that I had lunch reflecting the amount I spent.. without infamy or praise ... Kind and fast staff ... location a bit dated ....
