I'm currently staying at the hotel. I'd give it a 4-star rating due to certain room features. I've stayed in many hotels in Europe, including lower-category ones, and they all include an electric kettle or coffee maker so you can make tea or coffee at any time. There's also no complimentary bottled water in the rooms. Furthermore, the luggage storage isn't very efficient; you have to be resourceful to find a comfortable space. However, the service and amenities are 5-star.

Excellent hotel cafe with a great view. The staff is helpful and professional, they look great, and the service is top-notch. We only had coffee because it was a bit pricey 😂.

"I stayed here in March, and the weather was lovely. The hotel has a beautiful vintage vibe and is perfectly located near luxury brand shopping areas. However, it can get a bit noisy from pedestrians outside from daytime until late at night. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options."

Monaco Hotel offers an elegant and welcoming experience with attentive, English-speaking staff who are genuinely eager to provide excellent service. Breakfast was tasty and efficiently seated, with no unnecessary waiting.
The rooms are beautifully styled in gold and cream, featuring marble bathrooms and high-quality toiletries that add a luxurious touch. The bed was comfortable for many, though a few guests might find the mattress a touch firm, and the pillows could be more varied in firmness.
Housekeeping stood out for its friendliness and reliability. A thoughtful moment I appreciated was when the attendant placed a paper lid over my glass of red wine left overnight—little gestures that enhance the sense of care.
Overall, Monaco Hotel delivers strong service, stylish ambiance, and thoughtful touches that make for a pleasant stay. With a few tweaks to pillow and mattress options, it could be even more accommodating for all guests.

Luxurious rooms so well-appointed. Nice breakfast buffet. Perfect location so close to St Mark's. Walking from elevator to reception area seemed to be under construction, not congruent with the ambience of this grand hotel.

What a lovely way to start the day! We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best birthdays she’s ever had.
One of the staff members, we don’t know his name, was incredibly kind and funny. He brought a candle to surprise my friend and made us smile with his great energy. And the most touching part? When we received the bill, we noticed they didn’t even charge us for the birthday cake we had ordered. It was their special gift to her.
I’ve never experienced such thoughtful and generous service in a hotel restaurant before. A big thank you to that amazing staff member ,your kindness made our morning truly unforgettable!

Love this place and location. Staff was great. Junior suite no view but opened windows to alley was great. Could see the grand canal down the alley and saved a few bucks.
Great location easy boat taxi to front door of hotel.

If you have a choice, absolutely avoid this establishment!!!
This hotel claims to be a superior 4-star hotel.
Every morning at 9:00 AM, we were refused access to the breakfast room and relegated to a tiny bar table so that two people could comfortably eat breakfast. There are clearly not enough tables considering the number of rooms.
On the fourth day, we finally achieved our goal by agreeing to share a table with other guests.
The breakfast buffet is adequate for this type of establishment, but nothing special.
Despite having reserved breakfasts, if you want fried eggs, you have to pay an extra €8, and €12 for an omelet!…
Today, Tuesday, at 5:30 PM, we were very coldly refused access to the bar terrace without explanation. We took refuge at a bar table, but were just as coldly informed that the tables in that lounge were reserved. We return to our room…
The room has a bar where we aren't offered a complimentary mini bottle of water. A small bottle of water costs €6.
The wardrobe shelves are too small to store clothes unless you're staying one night.
There's no luggage rack to compensate for this lack of space! The suitcases are on the floor.
There's nowhere to hang wet towels in the bathroom.
I'll leave it at that!
