Breakfast for an outsider. 36 euros. The buffet was nothing special, perhaps I arrived late (9:00) but I didn't even find a croissant. And they don't serve hot drinks, only available from the machine (difficult for those who can only drink plant-based milk). Everything else was excellent and fresh. The fruit was appreciated. The hot dish was small; I would have preferred to order from the menu. But there's no option. Needs improvement.

Dinner at Zoya was an incredible surprise: as soon as we arrived, we were told that, even though the restaurant was closed, they had decided to stay open to honor our reservation. Jacopo, the head waiter, was exceptional in taking care of us; we had his undivided attention, and he made us feel completely at ease. The seafood dishes were excellent, especially the squid ink with polenta and the spaghetti alla busara. An enchanting location and an unforgettable experience.

Ristorante da Memo

27/06/2026: I discovered this restaurant after many years of trips to this wonderful island nestled between the sea and the lagoon. At Memo, I discovered a good seafood restaurant, a very refined atmosphere, and very helpful service, a rarity these days.
17/06/2026: I ate lunch today. Everything was great. Impeccable service.

La perla

23/05/2026: 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹Full Belly, Happy Wallet💚🤍❤️ In a city where a glass of water near a canal will cost you €6, Pizzeria La Perla in Cannaregio is a revelation. Tucked away from the chaos of St. Mark’s Square, it’s the kind of place where you can sit outside, watch the locals go about their day, and actually feel like you’re in Venice rather than a theme park version of it. The walls are covered in classic movie posters, giving the place a personality that’s as warm as the food. The pizza is the real deal: perfectly blistered crust, fresh toppings, no frills, no fuss. The kind of meal that reminds you why Italian food doesn’t need to be complicated to be great. The risotto is also worth ordering, and don’t sleep on the starter bread. It puts most other restaurants in the city to shame. Service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. On a good night, they’ll send you off with a complimentary limoncello, a lovely touch that caps the meal perfectly. Honest food, honest prices, and you will leave full. Dine among Al Pacino and Marilyn Monroe and leave wondering why you didn’t find this place sooner. Skip the tourist traps near St. Mark’s and make the walk to Cannaregio. Your stomach and your wallet will thank you.
23/05/2026: Nothing to complain about. Cute place, good pizza, friendly service. Good for a quick lunch.
