I have been frequenting this restaurant several times. The staff is attentive and friendly, the pizza is excellent, and the dishes are beautiful and very tasty.

Super welcoming and nice staff, they really do their best. Traditional food.

I came today with some friends. We let the chef recommend the menu, It was an incredible menu to share. A pasta dish made with fresh fish, shrimps, and mussels, very tasty, we then had grilled cuttlefish and very fresh fried fish.

I've been to Controcorrente at Alberoni (Venice Lido) and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery! 😊 The restaurant has a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends. You immediately feel at ease, thanks in part to the staff, who are always smiling, kind, and helpful without ever being intrusive. You can really feel the care they give, which is not always a given these days. The food was the real highlight: incredibly fresh seafood dishes, beautifully presented, and with authentic flavors, but the pizza was also truly worth it (light dough and quality ingredients). You can tell they put a lot of care into the selection of ingredients and the preparation. The outdoor space is also very pleasant, with a sort of covered terrace that allows you to enjoy your meal in an airy yet sheltered environment. The prices are absolutely in line with the area and the quality offered, so I'd say more than fair. Overall, it's one of those places you'll gladly return to and recommend without a second thought. If you're in Alberoni, it's definitely worth a stop! 👍

Beautiful place, very friendly staff, the best pizza in Venice, and the restaurant is also top-notch. I recommend this place to couples because it's romantic, after a stroll along the lagoon, which is just steps away, while watching the sun set. For older people and families, after a nice stroll on the beach, which is five minutes away. The most beautiful place on the Lido. It's worth coming to eat here.
