23/10/2025: Terrible place even before we went. Small dogs are allowed in, and large ones eat outside. That's what we were told. Dogs should be accepted regardless of their size. If that's your policy, I'll never set foot in there again.

30/01/2026: I came here with high expectations, made a reservation in advance, and specifically chose Christmas Eve dinner, the earliest being 7 PM. Unfortunately, it was windy and rainy that day 😂 (or perhaps the terrace was closed), so I couldn't visit or dine there. The atmosphere was steeped in history: the restaurant's interior retained a lot of Venetian-style decor, with mahogany furniture, exquisite tapestries, and sparkling crystal chandeliers, as if the air was filled with the lingering charm of 19th-century aristocratic social life. It had a strong retro feel reminiscent of Venice's Golden Age. The service was professional and top-notch, with a touch of Italian theatricality, which was quite distinctive. As for the food, it was a standard Michelin-starred meal. The most outstanding dish was the fish in the main course, which truly showcased their skill in handling fresh seafood. The truffle risotto, while generously filled with truffles, lacked the unique flavor of truffles. However, the final panettone was rather ordinary; this finishing touch to the festive atmosphere was underwhelming, probably a mass-produced version from a large company. Top-notch atmosphere and service! Of course, the bill was also top-notch 😂 It's a matter of opinion. The food was a bit formulaic and lacked something, making it less cost-effective. (Personally, I value the core functionality of a restaurant more.) But if you're going for the historical background and scenery, it's worth it.

16/08/2025: A legendary experience!!! We came in for a coffee and left with a cartload of pastries. Everything was perfect: the coffee, the food, and the service. And all at a very fair price, topped off with above-average courtesy. Highly recommended.

25/01/2026: Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. You'd heard good things about this place, but unfortunately, it was a disastrous evening. Starting with the ancient pizza, which the waiter had described as a soft focaccia, but instead it turned out to be soggy or very thin dough. Secondly, the waiter, Samba, was very rude to all the guests. And finally, being told at 10:00 PM that we had to order coffees right away or they wouldn't make them for us because they had to clean the machine. To top it all off, at around 10:15 AM we received the bill without even asking. Terrible service. I really don't think we'll ever return.

20/09/2025: The food was very good. The service (Mario) was perfect. The two of us wanted fish from the menu, and he responded immediately. "I'll show you the moment." So we had a wonderful grilled fresh fish with delicious vegetables and potato fries. A great evening!

15/03/2026: This was my first meal in Italy after I arrived late at night and I would’ve rather saved my money to skip this place. Most people are tourists and my food was incredibly subpar. The pasta was al dente but tasted like store-bought dried spaghetti, and all the seafood - including the giant shrimp - tasted frozen, or at least not well cooked. I really could have made this at home, but instead paid nearly 30 euros for this. I would not recommend this place for anyone who values quality pasta.

14/03/2026: We ordered spaghetti al vongole and pizza. The pizza was good, but the spaghetti was terrible—bland, with the ingredients cooked separately and a tasteless broth that made it look like soup. I love spaghetti al vongole, but this wasn't the place. The waiter's attitude left much to be desired. I know that nowadays all the dishes are spectacular, the places wonderful, and everything charming, but I'm old-fashioned and when I don't like something, I say so. I didn't have a good dinner tonight, which is actually harder than the reviews suggest.
