30/08/2024: Ci siamo stati due volte io e la mia ragazza. Un bellissimo locale con posti a sedere fuori. Ideale per fare aperitivo e mangiare qualcosa, fuori dalla zone piu turistiche di Venezia. Il personale è stra-simpaticissimo! Di sicuro tutte le volte che tornerò a Venezia ci andrò di sicuro! SUPERCONSIGLIATO!

14/07/2024: Nella mia short list dei cicchetti a Venezia El Refolo è saldo in posizione: cicchetti pronti che basta vederli e sai che vanno molto bene, e ne fanno ad hoc che fidati (sono uno che non sbaglia le recensioni). Birra, tavoli alti, via Garibaldi e’ lì pronta a farti entrare a Castello… con calma, conviene tirare fuori un po’ di euro in più e provare tutta la lista del Refolo.

24/07/2024: And this year too I succeeded. Fixed appointment in summer. Places of the heart, food and memories of days that taste not only of the sea and the lagoon but also of laughter, simple things in a place that is part of my history. The legendary clams and peoci open the dance with a nice portion of compass' tocia' inside. The sauce alone might be enough! Scampi in saore is another truly exceptional specialty. Balanced taste, light breading, delicious onion. To be tasted and savored one by one. Very sweet raw scampi. My favorite scallops au gratin. Even there, another half kilo of bread could be used so as not to lose even a drop of the precious sauce on the bottom of the shell, but I refrain. My favorite dish is never missing! The fish pie. Soft, velvety, an explosion of seafood flavors and those messy linguine that slide (too quickly) into the mouth. One two and three... Finished. I'm already thinking about next summer. I always come back here. A warm greeting to Valerio, the most professional and nicest waiter in the world!

24/07/2024: I was a guest of this hotel on 20 and 21 July 2024. Everything was normal except for the annoying experience on the afternoon of the 21st. I was in the garden with 3 other people and each asked for a different drink, mine a Moscow Mule. I asked the person who took the order if I could add 4 drops of angostura to my cocktail. No response so I asked her if she could ask the kitchen if they had it. The waiter's response: angostura is not used in the kitchen with a pedantic tone, when the ignorant do not know that it can be used both on gorgonzola and on skewers and other foods. Being a quiet guy, I let the topic drop there but I would like to point out to the manager the unqualified behavior of the hotel staff. In faith Simmaco Perillo

06/07/2024: De keuken is culinaire top. Werkelijk het beste dat we in al die jaren in Venetië aten. Ook het kader is rustig en aangenaam. De prijzen zijn hoog maar de service is heel stijlvol.

21/07/2024: Ever since I discovered the winery for my sister's hen party, it has been my point of reference for a good, quality aperitif dinner in their summer garden. Nicola and his staff including the kind Lalla are super helpful and kind. They prepared a super good buffet for us with vegetarian, vegan and even celiac dishes. Their Hugo is crazy what can I say I will return often...

13/07/2024: Tante varietà di cicchetti ad un prezzo onesto , ciò permette anche di provarne tanti di gusti diversi. Menzione speciale per l’Hugo, delizioso! Non potete lasciarvelo scappare , un gioiellino!

29/06/2024: First full day in Venice and Osteria Al Squero was a planned pit stop. All I can say is that it was a buzzing hive of fun, great cicchetti and local wine. Add it to your pit stop, you will be mad if you don’t. Try the Sardines in Saor, they are magical.

15/08/2024: Quiet place where we have been able to eat fresh fish. THERE IS NO MEAT, how strange in Italy!!!!! Totally recommended!!!!

14/08/2024: When we got here the chef personally greeted us and suggested what to get. The food was very nice and a lot of locals eat here so you know it’s good. I especially recommend the spaghetti because it is excellent.

08/07/2024: 雰囲気、サービス、お料理ともに、どれを取っても良かったです。ワインバーなので、ワインの種類も豊富でおすすめしてくれたワインがお料理と合っていて美味しかったです。景色は楽しめませんが、美味しいイタリアンとワインを楽しみたい方には絶対おすすめのお店です。

18/08/2024: We had lunch & celebratory dinner here. Marco Polo took great care of us along with all the staff, he recognized when we showed to dinner. He spoke Spanish too. The views are beautiful & service impeccable. They surprised us with sweet desserts for birthday & anniversary. Happy we chose this place!
