Great local place to try some traditional Venetian Cicchetti. Food was tasty and we liked almost everything we tried. Ingredients tasted fresh. Staff were helpful in explaining what everything was. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

I mainly went here because I saw it on No Reservations and thought it looked interesting. It’s near the touristy part of Venice, but it is a bit away from anything. It was crowded but people were moving, so you could find seating. The person helped me pick which cichetti (like tapas) were good and I also had the house wine. It was a bit pricey, but I enjoyed everything I ate and loved the atmosphere

A very charming bacaro, where, according to legend, Giacomo Casanova spent time. It has a rustic atmosphere with copper kettles on the ceiling and truly old wines on the walls. The service is friendly, attentive, and quick. However, there are no seats; it's a standing-room-only establishment.

We happened to walk into this spot and saw they had barolos by the glass so we decided to stop in for cicchetti. We loved how simple and unassuming this place was. Very friendly service and decent food. Loved the wine.

Knowing that you're entering a bar older than the country I live in (Brazil), frequented by Casanova... It's quite different. The decor is very picturesque, with pots hanging from the ceiling and wine jugs to serve the customers. The place is reminiscent of a typical Rio de Janeiro bar with informal service and snacks displayed in the window. Perhaps that's the secret to its success for over 550 years.
