28/03/2025: Update. I went back this week for the second time and I was disappointed. Starter with poor quality cured meats, soggy and unheated bread to accompany the ardo. Tasteless cutlet, the fontina didn't look like fontina. Sin. Small restaurant, in name and in fact. Small, welcoming, good typical cuisine. I appreciated the Valle d'Aosta cutlet, which was particularly good. Service a little slow, house wine from Veneto, shame.

07/02/2025: Les aconsejo mientras llegan sus platos, comer poco de cada uno porque hay tantos platos que son servidos que no podrá comer todo lo que sirven. Vino sin límite incluido.

10/04/2025: This restaurant was just perfect after a strenuous day of skiing. The portion sizes are extremely generous and absolutely delicious! I particularly recommend the steaks, they are so juicy and full of flavour. We also shared some cold cuts with cheese that was accompanied by some lovely sauces and dips. Thankyou ymeletrob!

06/04/2025: Great restaurant in Cervinia - really delicious food, good service. I had a fantastic pasta with truffle - far better than I’d had elsewhere - and rest of our group had beef or chicken, all said it was great.

20/03/2025: Mediocre food, with some pleasant first courses, shame about the staff who were extremely unprofessional and rude and the bathroom which it looked dirty

20/03/2025: We arrive in 5, the waiter seats us at the table.. he comes to take the orders.. we order. Comment #1: "You all have different tastes, but you know that it is bad manners to give five different orders". At the table among us there was also a person with experience in the restaurant field who affirms the validity of the sentence. The gentleman then gives a dirty look and says "Well then you should know.. but mine was just an observation eh". The tone in which he speaks is attacking and not at all "it's just an observation". The orders arrive, the same person sitting at the table as before reaches out a hand to relieve the gentleman from carrying 3 plates in one hand.. comment #2 arrives: "But you're a waitress, you shouldn't know that you don't touch the plates of the person who is serving". The consumption of the dishes takes place in an uncomfortable atmosphere with the waiter who continues to make observations about "how he was taught to do things at hotel school" and deriving from his experience of "21 years of catering". The food is good. When it's time to pay the bill we go to the cashier and ask to pay in separate bills. The "gentleman" who served us and the cook look at us astonished saying "Do we have to make 5 different receipts?" with a disgusted and exasperated expression. The behavior of the waiter does not denote a minimum of tact and cordiality in dealing with the customer... perhaps in those lessons at hotel school he was sleeping.

01/02/2025: Posto accogliente e familiare. Personale gentilissimo, disponibile e attento, pronti ad esaudire ogni nostra richiesta. In particolare il cameriere Francesco è stato gentilissimo, simpatico e molto paziente nonostante i nostri continui cambi di idee. Cibo ottimo e prezzi ragionevoli, menù molto vario. Posto molto pulito. Se vi trovare da queste parti, vi consigliamo di andarci a mangiare. (Non ho fatto in tempo a fare le foto a tutti i piatti) Torneremo sicuramente!!

27/01/2025: Ristorante senza grandi pretese ma con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Servizio veloce ed efficiente. Piatti tipici valdostani ad un prezzo accessibile. Abbiamo preso delle tagliatelle al ragù di cervo, delle crespelle alla valdostana, una polenta concia con uova e funghi porcini, una bottiglia di vino e due caffè. Costo complessivo 64 euro e due grappini in omaggio.

16/02/2025: Ho ordinato 2 filetti al pepe verde al sangue. Sono arrivati 2 filetti microscopici stracotti. Scelte 2 bottiglie alla carta nessuna presente. Prezzi alti per qualità

03/02/2025: Ricordavo un locale gradevole e giusto. Oggi ho trovato un ristorante con scarsissima attenzione al cliente, e prezzi fuori dalle orbite per dei piatti del tutto normali. Assolutamente da evitare.

11/02/2025: Il locale presenta un'atmosfera storica e molto autentica, è curato e ben arredato. I dolci sono molto buoni e di origine casalinga; il servizio è invece da rivedere. Nonostante la gentilezza del personale alla casa, il personale al bancone non ha la stessa cura e attenzione. Sicuramente il servizio offerto non è in linea con il locale.

31/03/2025: Quel acceuil chaleureux! La "Mama" avec un incroyable enthousiasme, toute l'équipe très attentive, les plats copieux est succulents, bref une belle surprise qui ne fait pas de mine depuis la route! Quelle trouvaille!

29/03/2025: Io, mio marito e il nostro cane, ci siamo recati in questa taverna a pranzo e a cena per due giorni consecutivi. Accoglienza speciale da parte delle titolari e della cameriera, anche nei riguardi del nostro cagnolino un po’ esagitato. Abbiamo pranzato e cenato con pasti di qualità eccellente e mai banali. Qualità prezzo in linea, lo consiglio vivamente. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie di cuore.

27/02/2025: Locale vista lago con cucina tipica Valdostana. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, servizio molto rapido e ambiente accogliente. Unico punto da segnalare riguarda il personale di sala: alcuni membri dello staff non sono stati accoglienti e cordiali nei confronti dei clienti durante il servizio, compresi noi che siamo stati “cacciati” dal locale perché entrati 10 minuti prima dell’ora della prenotazione.

16/02/2025: Locale alla buona, cibi nella media con qualche picco (guancia brasata) , prezzo giusto. Location esterna con vista sul lago , ed in inverno vicinissimo alle piste da sci di fondo

02/03/2025: Ogni volta che siamo a Cervinia torniamo qui ed è sempre una garanzia! Locale accogliente ed elegante, proprietari e personale gentilissimi. Ottima scelta di piatti, tutti di grande qualità. Consigliatissimo!

02/02/2025: We had high hopes with decent reviews and a location off the main street - but sorry to say we were disappointed. First impressions raised some flags - we arrived without a reservation and were told that the restaurant was fully booked but when I looked surprised by the number of empty tables the lady changed her mind and said that actually we could be accommodated. The meal was OK, the service was OK, the general ambience was OK - hence giving an 'average' rating. The one positive was that they have a good wine selection.

11/03/2025: A disaster! My chicken with cashew nuts, I'm still looking for the nuts... it looked like a cat box. And the fried ravioli, I'm still looking for the stuffing... Cantonese rice, there's no fatter! Unfriendly service as possible. Really disappointed. You shouldn't even call Etchebest, it won't be able to do anything at this stage, it should close, you shouldn't continue like this, it's a shame to call it Chinese cuisine. I'm sure the chef isn't Chinese.

15/03/2025: We went to the umbrella bar and after waiting for half an hour to try and be served we left and went elsewhere. There was only one person serving who favours the groups of guys who are sat around the bar and buying shots etc. If you haven't got a seat at the bar you stand no chance of getting served. Previous years the umbrella bar seemed one of the places to be for apres ski, this year it wasn't very busy at all which made it all the more frustrating that we didn't get served. Disappointing as we would have probably ended most days here if the service was better and it wasn't left for one person to work the bar at apres ski
