16/11/2025: A welcoming, family-friendly place with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The cocktails are excellent, and they have a great gin list. The owners are also very handsome.

10/09/2025: Beautiful place with friendly reception and provides amazing massages. The pool is a bonus for sunny days. Food is OK, rooms attractive but very hot, with thin walls to hear others talking in adjacent rooms, and the bed wakes you every time a bare movement is made due to loud creaking. Would I return? No, as the massages and pool alone isn't a big enough selling factor.

23/02/2026: This corner of paradise is located in the heart of Montefalco! An intimate and welcoming "little place," with just a few tables to ensure the utmost care, attention, and quality. Passion is at home here, making it the perfect place for special dinners. The menu would require multiple occasions to be fully explored. In the dining room, Guglielmo explains the menu, which in the kitchen is expertly prepared by Sara, who, in addition to her culinary creations, is also the author of several of the drawings displayed throughout the restaurant. And what about the prosciuttos displayed on the counter, which Guglielmo slices by hand as needed? Can Montefalco be without wine? Of course not, and Guglielmo is ready to offer suggestions for pairing food and wine. Everything is excellent! And so much more to try!!! A place where all the senses are satisfied. 05/12/2025: Saturday. Rain mixed with snow. Cold. The lit door invites you to take refuge in the warmth. Luck is on our side. There's room for two, despite a fortunate cancellation (reservations are required). I can't adequately describe this charming little restaurant, because it's a place full of details and perfectly fitted details. The smiling manager explains the menu, which appears like a delicate watercolor in his hands. Hand-cut prosciutto, aged for a long time. The fat is nectar that melts and blends with the bread. I give in to the lure of truffles with ancient grains. I understand the meaning of the watercolor precisely because the food releases a thousand colors of flavor in my mouth. A glass of ruby-red Sagrantino and, to finish, dessert. A tart. No, THE tart. Everything is sublime. Everything. The music, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the stick of palo santo in the bathroom. Congratulations to everyone!

04/03/2026: I stopped here for a quick lunch and ordered the daily menu (€13 for a starter, main course, and side dish, very affordable). I was greeted by a very kind and smiling young woman who served me throughout the meal. The food was good, although the pasta was a little al dente. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired: the corners are dirty and dusty, and overall, the restaurant seems quite neglected. The girl at the cash register offered me a coffee, and I found the restaurant overall to be very affordable.

25/01/2026: The manager is very friendly and outgoing. He makes you feel at ease. The food is high quality, but remember, it's a wine bar, not a restaurant; so you'll have a wide selection of wines, but the food is just a side dish!

15/12/2025: A warm and cozy little place, with an atmospheric open fireplace, exquisite cured meats and cheeses, homemade cappelletti in broth, and eggplant parmigiana—both hearty and delicious. The owner is the added bonus of this little restaurant/wine bar, always smiling and kind. He introduced us to a good local red wine, of which we ordered two glasses, and the new olive oil from the area, which we liked so much we ordered a can for the next day. A lovely, authentic experience, highly recommended!

09/03/2026: A simple but welcoming trattoria. Very good food and generous portions. Flavorful dishes. I had the primo del priore with trout, porcini mushrooms, and truffle (a strange but interesting combination), followed by the tenderloin with truffle, which was delicious and tender. Fairly priced.

09/03/2026: Trattoria with excellent food, with dishes like pici and tagliatelle with truffles, a delicacy, a special truffle omelette, and a very good roast lamb. The dessert was excellent, the price was just right for the quality and quantity.!!!!!

08/03/2026: We didn't stay, but we had dinner. Truly a wonderful surprise. The food is excellent. It offers both a restaurant option with vegetarian and vegan cuisine and all the typical dishes, as well as a pizzeria. Excellent and very friendly service. We tried the vegetarian menu, which was delicious. Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: Everything was excellent. The dishes were delicious. The coccio e pepe ravioli with truffle was dreamy, with a spectacular cream. The main courses were also perfect (very good arrosticini, pork medallions with pecorino and truffle cream). Oh my goodness, what a treat... in short, a wonderful place. I highly recommend it.

16/02/2026: The room was sad and smelly, the food was awful, and they rudely kicked out a couple with a dog because dogs are not allowed here.

15/02/2026: It's my must-try every time I come to Città della Pieve. I love their food so much that I always order the same things: bruschetta with porcini mushrooms (phenomenal), artichokes (sublime, fantastic flavor, the best I've ever had), and pici all'aglione, which amazes me every time. Today we also tried their ravioli with pistachio pesto. What can I say? There are no words to describe them!! Truly unique flavors. Their olive oil is something special. The desserts of the day are always a surprise, and today their brighelle won me over. The limoncello to finish, on the house, is that extra touch that makes the experience even more enjoyable. What can I say, everything is unique and special. The courtesy of the young woman and the owner make everything more engaging and peaceful. A restaurant that feels like home. I'll definitely be back!

21/08/2025: This wine shop offers a great deal of regional wines and beers. You can find a wide selection of the best Umbria can offer and in a charming and relaxing athmosphere. Food is delicious with great 'taglieri' platters! Highly recommended: there, you will probably have the best aperitivos of your life! Ideal when looking for quality souvenirs/gifts and other local artisanal produce.

07/03/2026: Tried both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended! The portions are generous, the food is indescribable, and the staff is helpful. The price is fair, the quality is there. Appetizer, main course, side dish, dessert, Coke, and water: €32.

03/02/2026: Try the focaccia/pizza. It’s very good, the staff are friendly/helpful. The prices are very reasonable. They do play music from their TV, but it isn’t so loud at to be disturbing.
