19/05/2026: This place is fantastic. We were visiting Orvieto for the day and got to the train station about an hour and a half early to head back to Rome. We just were looking for a place to eat that was near the station and wandered over to this restaurant. It was fantastic. Affordable, great tasting, and not too busy. We got the lasagna, a margherita pizza, and a kind of pasta (which I can't quite remember the name of) ... it was so good. Overall a great expereince and would highly recommend. Also, probably cheaper than eating in Orvieto at the top of the hill.

17/05/2026: The most beautiful friendly, smiley customer service ever. My suitcase has been lost by an airline and the delightful owner offered me extra clothes. This is a memory I will treasure forever. The pizzas were simply delicious and exactly as they should be - thin crust and fresh, good quality ingredients. Very fair prices too. I’m sorry we are leaving Orvieto tomorrow - because I would eat here again if I could.

11/05/2026: Super 5 stars for taste, elegance, hospitality, and price! Excellent restaurant, even gluten-free. Super tasty dishes and menus with a wide selection. Highly recommended. Normal prices. Very friendly staff. Over 10 years of Michelin guide experience, but again, normal prices.

07/05/2026: On Tuesday evening, I had the pleasure of dining at "I Monaci" after a long journey from Bari to Assisi, and the experience was truly wonderful: the restaurant is meticulously designed, elegant yet welcoming, with an authentic atmosphere that evokes Umbrian tradition and the flavors of yesteryear. The menu is refined and well-thought out, showcasing typical local dishes with a refined and creative touch. Each course stands out for the quality of the ingredients, the balance of flavors, and the impeccable presentation. Truly flavorful dishes, prepared with passion and attention to detail. An added bonus is definitely the owner: extremely friendly, helpful, and capable of making every guest feel at home. The staff also deserves high praise for their friendliness, professionalism, and customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Assisi who wants an authentic gastronomic experience, combining tradition, quality, and sincere hospitality.

10/05/2026: Very nice place, good food, and friendly staff. We ate very well, highly recommended. We ordered the menu with two starters and a grilled meat for €23, then added wine, dessert, and coffee, for a final bill of €66 for two. Aside from the price, we really liked the atmosphere. We'll be back!

30/04/2026: I went to Falisco for dinner, a warm and friendly atmosphere. Sergio was spectacular with his grills, and Sabina, what can I say, was a fantastic cook. Everything was delicious and had a traditional flavor. Excellent, I highly recommend it.

03/05/2026: Truffle bruschetta: 2, no truffle aroma; I was expecting truffle slices, none. I'll pay! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms: 3, very few mushrooms in a very greasy, aromaless mess; lentil soup: 4. You could smell the annoying animal fat from the soffritto. Nice outdoor location, with Vettore in front. Is that enough?

19/04/2026: A very welcoming location, Ilaria and Federico are super friendly and perfect hosts. The food, especially the desserts, was absolutely amazing...especially the black cherry semifreddo! If we ever return to the area on holiday, it will definitely be a must-visit. We highly recommend it ♥️

07/04/2026: A true corner of paradise surrounded by greenery, we spent the Easter holidays at this property, where we'd already stayed, and we found it, as always, welcoming, well-kept, and with a family atmosphere. The two owners, Matteo and Luca, are friendly and professional, always available for any request, and very attentive to every detail. Then there's the icing on the cake... Martina, wife of Matteo (the excellent chef), takes care of the guests (along with Luca, the resourceful young man) with her sweetness and kindness, and prepares exquisite desserts.
