Located in a suggestive location with a breathtaking view of the Umbrian countryside, this restaurant manages to combine tradition and innovation impeccably. The menu is a true journey into the flavors of Umbria, with dishes that enhance local ingredients of the highest quality. From homemade pasta to roasts, each course is taken care of down to the smallest detail in both taste and presentation. I particularly appreciated the Fusilli with broccoli, anchovies, olives and toasted bread crumbs: an explosion of flavour! Desserts are also a must: the homemade Tozzetti and glass of Collina d'Oro Roccafiore passito are amazing! The staff is extremely professional and welcoming, with attention to the customer that immediately makes you feel at home. The suggestions on wines are also excellent, with a well-stocked cellar that ranges from Umbrian and national labels. The environment is elegant and refined, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. 08/03/2025: I often eat in restaurants and almost always I am unable to eat everything on my plate because the heaviness of the restaurant-cooked dish prevails, therefore tending to be more seasoned. This is the first restaurant I've found where you eat with the taste of a restaurant dish but cooked in such a way as to be light. I don't know their secret but I assure you that everything is delicious, you can taste the quality ingredients. Positive aspects to point out 1. Cloth napkin 2. Glass of bottled house wine served at the table with tasting 3. Superlative bread and oil. These are delicacies that deserve a sixth star. The owners are very kind, they make you feel at home and ensure that you leave satisfied so they take care of everything. We had a flan of beef rump with aubergines, melted Norcia cheese and truffle (stunning), a pappardella with wild boar (never eaten so good) a pork shank with potatoes (superlative) ricotta pie and panna cotta with berries (divine) it's a trattoria but it has the care of a restaurant, I won't say starred but with truly refined traditional dishes. I would go back tomorrow. Since the place is small, you can also converse with other diners. Excellent price. 66 euros with wine, water and coffee. If you don't go you won't realize what I'm talking about.

10/02/2025: The perfect couple's weekend. The room is spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only moles are: - people speaking loudly in the spa area despite the staff recommending speaking in a low tone - despite the ban on access to children under the age of 14 in the SPA, there was a child certainly under the age of 14 who was playing in the pool and caused a bit of embarrassment for the couples who wanted to relax

29/01/2025: I stayed with my wife for two nights recently. Village immersed in magnificent countryside, equipped with excellent services with friendly staff available to satisfy every need. Good quality spa and breakfast adequate to the 5 star level of the hotel. We hope to return soon

Sin dal primo momento, si viene accolti con educazione, calore e una gentilezza sincera, caratteristiche che rendono questo luogo straordinariamente accogliente. Il personale dimostra una professionalità impeccabile, unita a un’attenzione al cliente che fa sentire ogni ospite speciale. E poi c'è la cucina… una meraviglia che conquista ogni palato! Dietro le quinte, la Madre della titolare porta un tocco di tradizione e maestria che si riflette in ogni piatto, trasformando ingredienti di qualità in vere e proprie opere d’arte culinarie. Mariani Pescheria e Cucina non è solo un ristorante, è un luogo dove si vive un’esperienza culinaria che scalda il cuore e soddisfa l’anima. Consigliatissimo!

24/03/2025: Ci troviamo di tanto in tanto a Gualdo Tadino per un fine settimana fuori porta, e per dormire facciamo tappa fissa qui. Abbiamo prenotato per la prima volta in tre coppie e abbiamo apprezzato molto la posizione della struttura, che si trova in pieno centro. Le camere sono pulite, comode e dotate di tutto l’essenziale. La gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff sono impeccabili. Inoltre, la colazione è davvero deliziosa. Consigliatissimo per un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante!

22/12/2024: Siamo stati per festeggiare un anniversario. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, dall'antipasto fino ai tozzetti con passito. Ottima esperienza da rifare sicuramente.

30/03/2025: Un ristorante che sa il fatto suo , bravi i camerieri che nella semplicità ci hanno servito senza nessuna sbavatura sempre pronti ad accontentarci , in cucina super non posso trovare una pecca tutto buonissimo , quantità delle porzioni perfetta e qualità dei prodotti 🔝 il menù cambia in base alle stagioni così bisogna tornare per poter assaggiare altre cose meravigliose , bravissimi .

21/03/2025: The place is so cute, quiet. The service was perfect, the guys were very kind. I ordered Spaghetti alla Carbonara and my wife Rigatoni alla Norcina. And for dessert PanaCotta. Everything was wonderful, very very tasty. It was the best pasta we have eaten so far.

The opportunity to taste donkey (we are adventurous) and an absolutely wonderful dessert: the deconstructed cheese cake with amarena and truffle.

17/03/2025: It's been some time since I ate at this restaurant but I must say that the quality is always excellent, tuna tartare and artichokes very good, grilled fish very good (the potatoes were too small for my taste). Very welcoming place, staff very attentive in satisfying customer requests. The wine cellar is excellent

13/03/2025: Very welcoming place recommended by a dear Umbrian friend of ours. Attractive menus and proposals. Unfortunately, compared to the first experience, this time we were not satisfied with the first courses, plus I brought my chef partner and therefore I had to suffer his complaints about the overcooked and tasteless pasta, despite the guarantee for the place. The raw and tartare dishes are always excellent. Good quality Cantabrian anchovies. In my opinion it remains one of the best fish restaurants in Umbria. Prices more than fair for the area.

07/04/2025: The pizza was absolutely delicious! Cooked in a wood burning oven. You can see them make it. Fresh and flavorful. The portion size of the pizza was big and there was a wide selection of pizza. There are other food items such as calzone, salad, pasta dishes. Do not miss out eat at this restaurant!

06/04/2025: The linguine alle cozze, a type of seafood pasta, was as good as if this pizzeria were actually on the coast. Which is even more commendable because it is not easy to eat "frutti de mare" pasta in wonderful Umbria.
