14/06/2025: We had the best tour and tasting experience of our holiday here! Our tour guide Giulia was so nice and very patient with all our nerdy questions. The vineyard and land is so beautiful and the tasting was great (we had the A tutto cinta tasting with cured meats, olive oil, bread and a wine). Great quality products for a good price. Would 100% recommend to visit this!

17/06/2025: During our motorcycle tour in Umbria, we stopped one night at the "Scacco Matto" hotel on Lake Corbara.....I believe, in all honesty, that it is a really good reference for us Bikers or those who need a reference point on the road from Spoleto to Orvieto and are looking for an informal but friendly and well-equipped place. Here we found the simplicity and cordiality of a beautiful family that manages the structure impeccably with large and clean lake view rooms, a swimming pool and a restaurant that many other managers would envy. In the environment you can breathe all the air of the lake, which honestly we did not know, in its beauty and the decades-long hospitality that the place boasts thanks to its founder Vittor Ugo and his sons with their family who now carry on their father's company with great commitment. Rating 10.

20/05/2025: Quick lunch with fresh and genuine products from grandma Balè, excellent cold cuts, quality cheeses and even the bread is of excellent quality, the desserts are also very good, friendly courtesy are the setting for a characteristic place where you can take a break from a nice trip, motorbike ride, or even just a substantial snack.

22/06/2025: Tenuta Marchesi Fezia is on the hills between San Gemini and Narni scalo, in the middle of the countryside. In the summer, the sun reigns supreme, but they are organized to defend themselves. There is plenty of space and the organization is quite orderly. When I happened to eat here, the food was excellent. Perhaps the service was a little slow.

15/06/2025: enchanting place. very well-kept and clean environment. excellent food with generous and tasty portions. excellent wine. kind and very professional staff. we had lunch at the same time as a baptism lunch and we never waited for the courses. excellent restaurant.

03/05/2025: Easter Monday lunch, we were in the area and luckily we found the last available table in this Careseccia trattoria. We ate very well with typical local dishes, tasty and with generous portions. The kind and helpful service explained the various dishes to us and recommended the dishes of the day. A restaurant with full 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

29/04/2025: We were there today for lunch for the first time... Had a great meal on a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view. Very good homemade pasta made by the owner which I highly recommend seasoned with delicious sauces. Very good and authentic red wine from a selected local winery. Exquisite dessert. We will be back.

13/06/2025: Service by a very young lady, who speaks little or no English. Asked emphatically for drinks without ice....the glasses came with ice. Returned and then had to wait approx. 5 min. for replacement glasses. Portions (lunch) are, to put it mildly, not too big.

27/06/2025: We found this place by chance while walking around the center of Orvieto, a very nice place. We asked for two for lunch, they seated us right away. The menu is rich in tradition. All the dishes we ordered were truly delicious. The aglione, dish of the day, was special. The attentive staff makes you feel at home. I recommend it to everyone.
