The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is excellent, from appetizers to desserts, and the prices are fair.

02/08/2025: Lovely, cozy rooms. When it's a bit warmer outside, the room gets warm quickly. Then you have to choose between an open window with the noise from the main road, or sleeping with the air conditioning on.
The staff is very friendly and genuine. We had a delicious dinner, and the breakfast was also good. We were just passing through and stayed here for one night. A great experience!
11/07/2025: We've often used the restaurant's cellar for a quick aperitif. They serve excellent wines from their own production, and the staff is very attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The wines are always accompanied by a small platter of local products.
We recently had dinner at the restaurant and were pleasantly impressed. Let's start with the location...even though it's close to a main road, it's extremely quiet and peaceful.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu, while not offering a wide selection, allows everyone to find their perfect dish. The dishes are excellent; we tried the venison carpaccio and the gnocchi and were pleasantly impressed. Another highlight is the desserts! The semifreddo with peach and lavender ice cream was a real hit with us.
I would therefore recommend this place for a simple aperitif or dinner.
We will definitely be back.

20/09/2025: Good pizza, nothing to say, but realizing that they charged me a cover charge for a 2-year-old child when the menu said children up to 10 years old were excluded bothered me, as well as the plain pasta which says 6.5 euros and is charged 8... good but not great

11/10/2025: A place to eat good grilled meat with Storo polenta. There's also a pizzeria where I had a delicious calzone with a rich filling.
The desserts are also homemade; I tried the toffee cheesecake, delicious.
Friendly staff, ample parking.

20/10/2025: The copper-pan-cooked trout is highly recommended: you won't find it like this anywhere else! There are many side dishes to choose from, and, if you prefer, very good appetizers too.
The service is always warm and friendly. The bill is very fair.
19/10/2025: A beautiful cabin in a stunning location high up in the mountains. There are swans and trout ponds, which are their specialty. Excellent food, friendly and courteous staff, and a very good value. I'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: Everything was excellent, but you can't spend almost €60 for 2 people on dumplings and little else, and in fact the place was half empty. I can understand a lot about the need to offer certain prices, but it seems a bit excessive to me.

22/09/2025: A must-visit whenever we spend time in Val di Sole. Excellent food, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Attentive, friendly, and attentive service. Superb ambiance both inside and out. Worth the walk up, leaving the car in Ortisè.
15/09/2025: When we're in Val di Sole, we always enjoy lunch at the guys' place. They serve excellent food at a fair price. The goulash soup is delicious.

19/08/2025: An absolute must-visit! The hike up to Rifugio Stivo is beautiful, but the reward at the top is even better. You're greeted with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites, and countless other peaks.
The rifugio itself is cozy and welcoming, with incredibly friendly staff and delicious, hearty mountain food. The view alone is worth five stars, but the warm atmosphere makes it a truly special place. Highly recommended for any hiker or nature lover. I can't wait to come back!

Good and plentiful food.
Breathtaking view, I recommend it, especially at night with the lights of Lake Garda, very captivating.
The grappas were very popular.
Go there, I highly recommend it.
P.S. If you're a cat and dog lover, you won't be disappointed.

WiFi is sluggish.
One of the receptionist is not friendly.

A dream stay: an elegant suite, breathtaking views, attention to detail, and utmost tranquility. A corner of paradise in the heart of the Dolomites.

21/08/2025: I returned after nine years, and I must say it left a bitter taste in my mouth. They renovated the restaurant, and in my opinion, it's lost that sense of warmth that these mountain places usually convey. The cuisine has also changed, with a modern twist. For example, orecchiette with clams and mushrooms. In short, it's Milanese cuisine, not Canazei, and in winter, I hope the portions are for energy recovery, not for tasting. The staff is friendly, a little inexperienced. They definitely don't have the attention you expect from a 4-star superior hotel. The room was clean—I stayed in a junior deluxe—and spacious, with a huge bathroom with a window. I would only recommend a few more hangers for bathrobes and for the winter, and a few more hooks for hanging clothes. Oh, and I forgot, the closet is really small. I didn't have a bad experience; I want to encourage them to improve a little on the attention to detail, which, I repeat, 4-star hotels deserve.
The spa in the basement is truly superb, and the pool is almost Olympic-sized.
The location is excellent! 10 meters from the Belvedere ski lift and 50 meters from the town center.
17/08/2025: The Pareda Hotel is located right next to the Belvedere cable car (therefore right in the center and in an excellent location, especially for skiing). It's a clean and comfortable hotel, with a more than decent wellness area. I stayed in a spacious Deluxe Traditional room with two terraces. So far, it was in keeping with the hotel's 4-star rating and would have fully met my expectations. But now comes the weak point...or rather, the embarrassing one. Upon arrival, we were told that the dinner menu is à la carte, so we choose our dishes on the spot. The following are always offered:
1 meat
1 fish
1 vegetarian.
The vegetable buffet consists of 5/6 bowls of vegetables (always the same): tomato, lettuce, carrots, corn. There is no cooked vegetables (not even boiled potatoes) except, a couple of evenings, a meager platter of grilled zucchini.
The menus are inspired by MasterChef, but they don't quite live up to it. Bread, which is available in baskets for breakfast in the morning, is brought to the table in a meager basket in the evening. It contains: half a rosetta (half!!), two slices of brown bread, and four or five "Bibanesi" (small, rounded breadsticks, for those unfamiliar with them). When I asked for more white bread, I was told they didn't have any. The second time, they brought me two more slices of brown bread.
Salt (which is missing from every dish...perhaps they're concerned about the customer's health) has to be requested every time, as it's not on the table. The cuisine is, at the very least, "alternative." Dishes have little or nothing to do with local cuisine, but above all, the emphasis is on presentation (flavor and quantity are secondary).
One evening, I asked for two scrambled eggs or some cold cuts instead of the usual offerings. I was told it wasn't possible due to an unspecified kitchen policy (I've never asked for such a simple alternative and been refused, not even... remember, we're talking about a 4-star hotel).
The next evening, after yet another presentation of a completely charred dish, I decided to cancel my half-board and not dine at the hotel again. Management, completely inattentive to this problem, which was left to Mrs. Lara (a caring and capable person), let me know they'd give me a credit for the last dinner, which I hadn't eaten, so... thank goodness.
I wasn't able to express my complaints to the owners (who were present, but apparently only in case there was praise to be had), but I politely pointed out to Lara that a hotel with such high potential and top-notch services should definitely reconsider this aspect of its catering, which is seriously penalizing it.
I should point out that I stayed for 14 days, so I could also see the disappointment of other guests who had come and gone.
The dining room staff was courteous and did their best to "patch up" these unpleasant situations.

01/10/2025: A truly special hidden spot!
All the dishes are homemade with ingredients from the garden. The black beans are fantastic, a must try! The polenta with tosella cheese, the sauerkraut, and the blueberry ice cream are also delicious.
Finally, a homemade blueberry grappa is the perfect end to the meal.
The road to get there is a bit winding, but it's absolutely worth it. Welcoming, authentic, and quiet. I'll be back!
09/09/2025: We ate dinner for four. The trio of gnocchi was delicious, they melt in your mouth. The dumplings and the stew with polenta were equally delicious, excellent quality.
And the strudel with ice cream or blueberry jam is out of this world! 😉

24/09/2025: Spectacular place. I've been working here up in the mountains with buses for three years and I didn't know there was such an incredible place. Old-fashioned flavors, homemade desserts, and excellent coffee. Plus, both indoor and outdoor tables. Typical Trentino wood interior. 💚💪 GT driver. And again today, September 24, here for lunch again. Exceptional service and a set menu as well. It's super convenient for workers who work in Folgaria, with ample parking.
23/09/2025: A truly delicious lunch with friends. Local food and an unforgettable strudel. The staff was friendly and willing to recommend the best. Must try.

07/10/2025: Lunch break was nothing short of exceptional! The place is meticulously maintained, perhaps a little retro in style, but well-maintained. The staff is friendly and the service is super fast. The dishes (this time it was meatballs in tomato sauce) were delicious and light, just like grandma used to make! A wide selection of first and second courses rounds it out perfectly! I recommend it to fellow truck drivers, as the parking lot is very large, on both sides of the SS47 Valsugana.
