21/08/2025: I returned after nine years, and I must say it left a bitter taste in my mouth. They renovated the restaurant, and in my opinion, it's lost that sense of warmth that these mountain places usually convey. The cuisine has also changed, with a modern twist. For example, orecchiette with clams and mushrooms. In short, it's Milanese cuisine, not Canazei, and in winter, I hope the portions are for energy recovery, not for tasting. The staff is friendly, a little inexperienced. They definitely don't have the attention you expect from a 4-star superior hotel. The room was clean—I stayed in a junior deluxe—and spacious, with a huge bathroom with a window. I would only recommend a few more hangers for bathrobes and for the winter, and a few more hooks for hanging clothes. Oh, and I forgot, the closet is really small. I didn't have a bad experience; I want to encourage them to improve a little on the attention to detail, which, I repeat, 4-star hotels deserve. The spa in the basement is truly superb, and the pool is almost Olympic-sized. The location is excellent! 10 meters from the Belvedere ski lift and 50 meters from the town center.

17/08/2025: The Pareda Hotel is located right next to the Belvedere cable car (therefore right in the center and in an excellent location, especially for skiing). It's a clean and comfortable hotel, with a more than decent wellness area. I stayed in a spacious Deluxe Traditional room with two terraces. So far, it was in keeping with the hotel's 4-star rating and would have fully met my expectations. But now comes the weak point...or rather, the embarrassing one. Upon arrival, we were told that the dinner menu is à la carte, so we choose our dishes on the spot. The following are always offered: 1 meat 1 fish 1 vegetarian. The vegetable buffet consists of 5/6 bowls of vegetables (always the same): tomato, lettuce, carrots, corn. There is no cooked vegetables (not even boiled potatoes) except, a couple of evenings, a meager platter of grilled zucchini. The menus are inspired by MasterChef, but they don't quite live up to it. Bread, which is available in baskets for breakfast in the morning, is brought to the table in a meager basket in the evening. It contains: half a rosetta (half!!), two slices of brown bread, and four or five "Bibanesi" (small, rounded breadsticks, for those unfamiliar with them). When I asked for more white bread, I was told they didn't have any. The second time, they brought me two more slices of brown bread. Salt (which is missing from every dish...perhaps they're concerned about the customer's health) has to be requested every time, as it's not on the table. The cuisine is, at the very least, "alternative." Dishes have little or nothing to do with local cuisine, but above all, the emphasis is on presentation (flavor and quantity are secondary). One evening, I asked for two scrambled eggs or some cold cuts instead of the usual offerings. I was told it wasn't possible due to an unspecified kitchen policy (I've never asked for such a simple alternative and been refused, not even... remember, we're talking about a 4-star hotel). The next evening, after yet another presentation of a completely charred dish, I decided to cancel my half-board and not dine at the hotel again. Management, completely inattentive to this problem, which was left to Mrs. Lara (a caring and capable person), let me know they'd give me a credit for the last dinner, which I hadn't eaten, so... thank goodness. I wasn't able to express my complaints to the owners (who were present, but apparently only in case there was praise to be had), but I politely pointed out to Lara that a hotel with such high potential and top-notch services should definitely reconsider this aspect of its catering, which is seriously penalizing it. I should point out that I stayed for 14 days, so I could also see the disappointment of other guests who had come and gone. The dining room staff was courteous and did their best to "patch up" these unpleasant situations.

23/09/2025: I arrived after eight hours of walking, with three more ahead of me. I had already finished my two liters of water. The refuge was about to close (in 10-15 minutes), there were no customers, and I asked if there was a fountain to refill water, but there wasn't one. I then asked if it was possible to fill it at the tap and that I would even pay for it, but no: it wasn't possible and the only solution was to buy a plastic bottle. A girl (a friend of theirs?) started laughing and, mocking me, convinced them to let me fill my water bottle because otherwise "I could die of dehydration." They filled it for me from the tap. Half.

29/10/2025: Great atmosphere and excellent service! The food is very good, especially the sandwiches, and the portions are generous. It's a shame the salad is a bit small, but it's still tasty! The restaurant/shop concept is also nice! A good place to eat quickly and without any fuss.

26/10/2025: Lunch on October 24th. The bruschetta was good, but the chickpea, potato, and coppa pasta dish was out of this world! Well done! We also tried the Bronte pistachio cake, which was very good. The coffee could be improved. I gave the atmosphere a 4⭐️ because a pigeon was flying between the tables, which was truly unhygienic. The bill was reasonable.

25/09/2025: Everything was very good, especially the chicken skewers, which make you want to order more right away! 😊

11/09/2025: Eclectic mix of American diner theme and Italian alpine architecture and furnishings. Staff were friendly and helpful and, thankfully for us, spoke English. The food was great, the Angus steak was a great cut cooked to perfection.

07/10/2025: My family and I stayed for 5 days at this wonderful property, in one of their apartments, but with the hotel's amenities. The indoor area features a beautiful play area suitable for children, a lovely water park, and a swimming pool. My 5-year-old daughter, I must say, loved playing there and had a lot of fun. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary comforts: a washing machine, oven, microwave, induction hob, refrigerator, and cookware. However, the induction hob and cookware could use something more efficient! Despite the excellent services we enjoyed, I would like to recommend a few things to the property that would certainly make our stay and service even better. They would definitely install air conditioning in the apartment, so that if you're cold and don't have heating, you can perhaps warm the room. We personally felt a bit chilly. I would provide dryers (even for a fee) within the hotel so that, if you wash your clothes on a bad day, they can dry more quickly! Otherwise, the facility is clean and tidy, and the reception staff is impeccably welcoming, clearly explaining all the day's activities and excursions. Highly recommended for children!

02/09/2025: We stayed in the apartment at the ValdiSole Hotel. The rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and equipped with everything you could need. The hotel was recently renovated and is beautiful, welcoming, and just like all the owners. There's a beautiful pool, a very inviting spa, a water park for kids, and a separate play area run by very friendly, kind, and attentive entertainers. We had a wonderful time.

31/07/2025: I spent 4 days/3 nights here with my family. The hotel's location is top-notch, overlooking the lake. Private indoor parking. Excellent cuisine with local products, fair prices. I recommend a room with a lake view for a stunning view. The owners are very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

31/10/2025: I tried the special menu at Lido, but I thought 130 euros was too expensive, so I went with the regular menu. It was fantastic. If they have a special menu, I'd definitely try it again! I think the price would have been reasonable. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, but the view is amazing. It's magnificent.

16/09/2025: Linda has been my go-to place for over twenty years every time I visit Garfagnana. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is excellent, from appetizers to desserts, and the prices are fair.

21/08/2025: We had dinner in this nice and welcoming place, the food was excellent and plentiful and the staff were excellent.

15/08/2025: We had a truly generous appetizer of cured meats for two, with half a portion of polenta with mushrooms, followed by an excellent veal chop and two good bottled beers. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The food is very 'average' - we ate in different restaurants throughout our stay in Riva and the pizza at this restaurant was greasy and the pasta resembled a microwave meal. The food was not fresh. The bread for starters was stale and was served in a brown paper bag...It was more pricey than other restaurants for lower quality food. Very much begrudged paying for our dinner.

21/10/2025: Very friendly service, who also speaks several languages. The food was delicious, as you can see from the pictures. We had three pizzas (thin crust but filling), pasta (delicious carbonara, but a bit small), and schnitzel with fries (the schnitzel was crispy and delicious, and the fries weren't overseasoned, fluffy and crispy, with a good texture). In summary, delicious food and good service.

06/10/2025: Very high prices, poor quality and quantity of food... A children's Milanese is basically a slice of golden ham. Only the environment is a saving grace. I wouldn't go back.

27/07/2025: Functional for a few days, but the rooms need updating. Just a few weeks before our vacation, my partner and I were looking for affordable accommodation near Riva. The Hotel Rudy is located about 2 kilometers north of the city center. We walked there almost every evening to enjoy a (really delicious) meal. When we arrived, we tried to check in about two hours before the stated check-in time. The friendly staff member made sure our room was cleaned with priority, and we only had to wait half an hour. Our room on the second floor was easily accessible by both the elevator and the (fairly narrow) stairs. The door was a bit awkward to open, and the room key was very old-school (no card or anything like that) and clunky. The room opened onto two balconies, from which we had a direct view of the main street. One room had two seats and a small table, but unfortunately, due to the very bad weather for the end of July, we couldn't make use of them. The furnishings and fittings are a bit dated and very worn. The bathroom, especially the shower, is very small and difficult to use even for slim people. The bathroom door (see photo) had disgusting stains, and I didn't even want to know where they came from. The beds were quite deep, but functional. The biggest drawback for us was actually the very thin and thin walls. Combined with "great" neighbors who don't know how to sleep well at night, last night was a complete nightmare. The street noise is also quite loud; if you're sensitive to this, you should ask for another room. We visited the pool twice. It's beautifully quiet, large enough for cooling off, and offers sunbathing space for around 25 hotel guests. If the weather is good and you don't necessarily want to swim laps, it's perfectly adequate. The breakfast was delicious throughout our entire vacation, the selection was absolutely sufficient, and there was always something to suit everyone. I think everyone will find something to their liking here. We didn't use the hotel restaurant during our stay. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short trip to Lake Garda (with a few reservations). However, there are certainly more modern options available at a comparable price.

18/07/2025: Very friendly staff 👍 Cozy pool area Great breakfast. We stayed there for 7 days. It's a 5-minute bike ride to the center of Riva del Garda. The only downside is the bathroom, which was unfortunately too small.

22/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, very good meat, Maillard sauce could be improved, very pleasant atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, but a bit hectic. Fair prices. I recommend it.

21/11/2025: I ate here three nights in a row with two other friends, and I can say we were completely satisfied. The service was prompt, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed. For the dishes, I tried the traditional venison stew, Tyrolean goulash, and pork shank. All three dishes were delicious and I highly recommend them, perfectly cooked and with generous portions. Finally, as with the desserts, there's a wide selection that won't disappoint. If I ever return to Trento, I'll definitely eat here again! Greetings to Enrico and all the staff, thank you for everything!
