28/10/2025: Excellent home-cooked dishes, a rustic atmosphere, and truly reasonable prices. The menu is generally fixed but includes a bit of everything. The potato tortelli are excellent, the braised meat is delicious, and the ribs are exceptional. We had a great time.

27/10/2025: If I could, I'd give it 10 stars! I used to come here when I worked in these beautiful areas! I returned with family and friends after a few years, and it feels like time has stood still! The owners are incredibly sweet and kind; the lady cooks divinely, and the gentleman is not only sweet and helpful, but incredibly tender! The cuisine isn't superb, but more so: plentiful and of exceptional, superior, unique quality...typical of a mountain refuge! The prices are more than fair, €30 per person including drinks for a menu that never ends. The appetizers are incredible: the meat is fresh and tender, the beef is firm, and the carpaccio is something you'll remember for a lifetime. The first courses are exceptional: the canederli are traditional Trentino dumplings (the cheese ones are a delight!), and the second courses (for those who haven't had enough before) are exquisite; the braised beef in Barolo is so tender it melts in your mouth! The grappas are excellent, also strictly handmade! When we pass by these places again, we'll definitely stop here! Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends; they're not always open during the week. It's family-run! Update: We returned at the end of October 2025 and I can say that the quality is still the same, as is the kindness of the staff and "Mr. Baffo," who remains the star of the place! The price of the full menu has been increased by €5, now costing €35; still, it's a more than fair price for the quantity and quality of the products.

11/03/2026: We stayed at the hotel for one night and were completely satisfied; we couldn't find anything to complain about. The view is simply magnificent. Sleeping at that altitude is a bit of a challenge 😅, but you know that beforehand. Therefore, we give it 5 stars. Many thanks to the whole team!

19/02/2026: Hotel at an altitude of about 3200m with half board and 3 course menu. Room for 3 people at a friendly price with a beautiful view of the valley with sauna, bar and common room where you can relax and have fun after a day of skiing.

31/12/2025: Impeccable family management, kind and professional. The lady is truly kind. The property has beautiful rooms, a small, well-equipped wellness center, and the cuisine is very well-prepared, with excellent dishes. You feel at home. I've been there in the winter, but I think it's even better in the summer, thanks to a beautiful garden with a pool. After staying there for two years, I think I can safely say that the excellent value for money will bring me back often.

12/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Berghotel Jochgrimm. The food was excellent, the spa area lovely, and you can go skiing, hiking, and cross-country skiing right from the hotel. We'd love to come back again 😊

09/03/2026: A fantastic active holiday, perfectly complemented by the team at the mountain hotel. Everything was just right, from the cleanliness to the food and service. Important: You have to enjoy being remote from the nearest towns and villages. Otherwise, this isn't the place for you! A return visit is guaranteed.

17/03/2026: We've been guests at the Schwarzer Adler countless times since 2009 and have never had a single negative experience. The food is always perfect and delicious, the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy both inside and out, and when you're served by Georg himself, everything is just right 😊

30/10/2025: Restaurant review: We stopped at the Adler on our way from Merano to Appiano. We hadn't made a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. Lovely dining room, very good and friendly service. The food was excellent. The Linzer torte for dessert was divine.

26/10/2025: We stayed one night in conjunction with a theater event and were pleasantly surprised. We slept in an ancient castle with modern touches, very clean and comfortable. The dinner was excellent, featuring fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. Eating by candlelight with a stunning view is truly captivating. The show was out of the ordinary, very special, and I'd call it magical. The price was fair. Finally, Sofia and the staff's hospitality made you feel right at home. I highly recommend it.

18/03/2026: Chalet restaurant in a superb location at the foot of the Sassongher mountain on the Colfosco estate. It boasts a beautiful, large, and perfectly oriented terrace offering a splendid 300-degree view. The food is excellent and delicious.

22/02/2026: We had dinners at the Ansitz Heufler in Antholz-Anterselva. The location is wonderful! Food is excellent and can be enjoyed in a very relaxed environment. The little bar is very cozy and the staff knows how to mix drinks :). Staff is very attentive and kind. We were taken care of by Bernardino, who has a fab sense of humor and serves the guests with a great smile. We can only recommend to visit the Ansitz Heufler and I will definitively be back, when I return for the Biathlon World Cup next year. Happy days! PS: cannot judge the rooms, as we were staying in a different hotel. But on the website the rooms look very nice!

22/02/2026: During our week-long vacation, we had the pleasure of dining and having breakfast several times at Ansitz Heufler. We were greeted with great kindness by the entire staff, especially Berry, who accompanied us with professionalism and great attention. The recommended dishes and wines are particularly worthwhile. The Renaissance stube (traditional parlors) are a true highlight and are worth a visit in and of themselves. The ambiance is enchanting and makes for a unique culinary experience.
