A little later, a table for four became available, but we weren't allowed to use it... supposedly reserved for four people who still wanted to eat...🤔 Since we only wanted a light lunch (a plate of spaghetti or lasagna), the owner arrogantly and sneeringly declined, saying, "We don't have anything like that," so I opted for the gnocchi. A total disaster, bland, and overpriced (€22). A disgrace, never again!

Ambience & Location The restaurant is located directly on the water and impresses with its large window front and a pleasant color scheme of blue and white tones. The atmosphere is calming. However, the tables and chairs wobbled a bit, and the seating is exclusively designed for round four-seaters, which limits flexibility. Service Unfortunately, the service was not up to the standard one would expect from a restaurant of this standard. Although only three tables were occupied, we sat at our tables for 10-15 minutes without a greeting, menu, water, or any other kind of attention. Even the pre-booked option of a decorated table—which is offered via the website for an additional charge—was not implemented. This seems unprofessional and disappointing. The service was generally slow: sometimes served from the left, sometimes from the right, dishes were sometimes announced, sometimes placed without comment. We had to refill our own water several times. Particularly irritating: The selected vintage champagne was repeatedly referred to as "wine" and served in a red wine glass – a clear lack of service training here. Finally, there was also an error on the bill, which was only corrected after a request and a long wait. 24/08/2025: Michelin-starred restaurant. This is the perfect place if you want to dine in a modern and refined setting, with a pleasant lake view and very attentive service. The dishes in the tasting menu (vegetarian and seafood) won us over—and at times surprised us—with their beauty and flavor. The portions were minimal, as expected, except for the pasta with meat sauce, which I ordered for my toddler, and which was a huge hit!

03/09/2025: Nice place, wide selection of pizzas, which are the flagship, and also some traditional dishes. The pizza was really good, with a top-notch dough. As a side dish, I tried the carne salada, if you can call it that. It was sliced ​​very thinly and its consistency wasn't exactly carne salada; it tasted more like bresaola. All this at a modest price of €18, which wasn't worth it. Anyway, overall, the pizza deserves a special mention, while the rest is a little less so.

We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. On the first day (a little heavy from the previous days), we ordered a salad. It was rich and tasty (not ordinary for a salad). On the second day, we opted for the burger with local meat, which was also excellent! We were also very tempted by the pizza, but unfortunately, we were already out of time. If we return to Selva, we will definitely return. Unparalleled value for money.

01/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel at the end of August, two families with teenage children. The hotel has everything you need: a pool, a hot tub, and a lovely spa. The breakfast was good and complete, as was the dinner, with good quality and variety. The staff was helpful. There's also a games area with ping pong, billiards, and foosball. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is the lack of a bidet, which, given the hotel's recent renovation and the spacious bathroom...it wasn't a bad thing...since a bidet is a VERY USEFUL feature! Otherwise, everything was perfect.
