24/06/2025: What an experience. Food, amazing! Service, amazing! Price, amazing. We had asked in a juweler-store in San Gimignano where it would be best to eat. It should be good italian food, not to touristy, not to high-class. They immediately recommended this restaurant. And what a treat it was!!! Extremely, extremely high quality and sitting outside in the yard; it felt like sitting at a friend's garden. If you want a real experience in San Gimignano; go here for dinner. It is an absolute joy!!

23/06/2025: We are from Verona and we had dinner in this restaurant during a short vacation in San Gimignano. Intimate and refined atmosphere, quality raw materials and expertly prepared that give life to dishes with very successful creative combinations. Attentive, friendly and professional service. Very interesting wine list, we drank a good Vermentino di toscana. Really good

16/07/2025: Lots of smoke and no heart. We stumbled upon this place for dinner by chance, given its ranking on Tripadvisor. It's a sterile, cold, unloving place, a disappointing experience. The food is average, nothing exceptional, and the prices are very high.

03/07/2025: Very nice trattoria, in the beautiful San Gimignano, in this place, in a really narrow space, the friendliness is not lacking! The girl who serves at the tables and the other waiters are very nice, fast and courteous service, always with a smile. The location is particular, but very charming. As for the food, I was slightly disappointed by some dishes (tartare and desserts) while other dishes were better, although without leaving a mark. In any case, courtesy and kindness make you want to come back...

01/07/2025: DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! It was terrible. The waitress was very rude and impolite. There were 8 of us and everyone's food was very bad. The Cacio e Pepe had a very ugly sauce and looked even worse. All the meat was raw, the dishes were small, it looked like the food had been heated in the microwave. The bread that came when we sat down was soggy, the bruschetta was just slices of soggy bread with cut tomatoes on top. I repeat, do not go there!

12/07/2025: Tratando de encontrar un restaurante fuera de la principal zona turística de San Gimignano, nos topamos con esta pequeña joya. Compartimos una deliciosa ensalada de pera, queso de cabra y nueces y luego tuvimos la opción de probar dos sopas toscanas cada uno; todas estaban deliciosas, ¡pero la de frijoles y cebada se llevó el primer lugar! Acompañado de una cerveza artesanal ligera. Cena perfecta, entorno estupendo y personal amable. ¡Muy recomendable!

24/06/2025: Etablissement pittoresque à l'écart de la foule. Cuisine succulente faite maison et à la présentation raffinée. Tout le personnel est très agréable et serviable.

06/07/2025: I went to this restaurant because it was in the Michelin guide. I would NOT go there again. It did not meet my expectations. The following things: First of all the staff was fine, but not very outstanding or super nice compared to other places. They were in a hurry all the time. I arrived 5 min earlier than my reservation at 1900, the guy told me to wait outside ?? There was literally no one in the restaurant. The food is fine but not outstanding. 15 euros for simple Melon with parmaham.. crazy. I had the gnocchi with truffle but the truffle was from very bad quality and did not taste like real good truffle. (also 23 euros). Also had the tiramisu but was not the best i ever had. It was very basic. Also they put the airconditioning on 27 degrees?? It took the waiter about half an hour to notice that. Once noticed they put it back to 23 degrees. There are way better restaurants in Tuscany, especially for the price you pay. This restaurant is just very into tourists.

24/06/2025: Just don’t offer bruschetta if you can’t find ripe tomatoes! This place is odd - the service is efficient and on point. The pastas are quite good. But the atmosphere has a distinct 1970s Ramada vibe and the food is not particularly remarkable. Misses included underripe bruschetta and tough boar. Hits were a simple spaghetti with tomato and perfectly charred grilled chicken. So… keep it simple on the ordering, and temper your expectations?

12/07/2025: Amazingly delicious, the pizza can't be beaten in terms of price-performance.

11/07/2025: The food was very good, you could feel the Italian atmosphere, but the portions could be a little larger.

18/05/2025: Great spot for a little aperativo. We caught the jazz trio in the cisterns at the right time. Paired with a good sandwich and 2.50€ prosecco and wine between 3.5-7€, this was a great space to spend the afternoon.

17/05/2025: I agree with the comment above: the prices displayed on Google aren't the same in 2022 and you still haven't changed it, it's not serious. In France, you get fines for prices displayed that aren't correct!! It's misleading for customers, and yes, the server also only offers cash payment; he'll only take card payments if that's all you have!!! Luckily, my focaccia was good!

23/06/2025: We are from Verona and we had dinner in this restaurant during a short stay in San Gimignano. Intimate and well-kept environment, very kind and friendly staff. Excellent pici with wild boar and fiorentina, excellent quality meat and cooked to perfection. Very good

23/06/2025: The cod is remarkable...you wouldn't expect it and instead it is absolutely to be tasted with a very cold Vernaccia...ecstasy.

07/06/2025: A disappointment, the tartar meat was very poorly cut, with sinewy edges and tough. The chunks were very large and impossible to chew. When we told the owner and chef, they treated us like liars, even when we showed them photos I took of the enormous pieces of meat, which, even though it wasn't sirloin, were even more noticeable. They don't accept criticism. I don't know where they got the title, if they have one, but at least admit that sarcasm.

07/06/2025: The tartar is terrible. It's not sirloin and it's not cut properly. They put in pieces that look like steak and have sinewy edges. They play around with camouflaging the meat with other strong flavors so you don't notice it's not sirloin. We told the owner, and on top of that, he became aggressive and rude, his professionalism as bad as a bad dish. The most disappointing thing I've ever eaten. I'm posting photos so people can see what they serve here. Disgraceful.
