Inside it appears a little confusing, with a modern, almost circus-like style, with combinations of historic wooden furniture and bright curtains. Overall you can see the desire to be elegant, I would aim for that. As a first course, two tagliatelle with mushrooms and saffron, good, slightly watery and not too tasty. Maybe I would use some porcini mushrooms and review the balance between the flavors to give the dish a little boost. Like a second Florentine steak, matured for 70 days, perfectly cooked: rare but not cold. Tasty and tender, slightly orange fat, really good. Baked potatoes truly to remember, light and fragrant, not heavy, crunchy. The manager is a truly capable and attentive person who transmits passion. Service of the Fiorentina cut at the table performed very well. In essence, a place with great potential, if you fix something it can be at the top.

10/12/2024: Massimo è un Signor Ristoratore, la gentile Andrea porta i piatti in tavola con professionalità ma anche con un sorriso e Anna (spero di non ricordare male il nome) è una cuoca insuperabile. Non dimenticherò questo compleanno: non solo per la buona cucina i buoni vini, la location e la mis en place di gran classe, ma per il calore umano che mi ha reso felice. È stato bello portare a casa i vini e l'olio e il ricordo di San Gimignano.

31/07/2024: Als je snel snel wil lunchen moet je dat niet hier doen, maar als je de meest authentieke en gepasioneerde ervaring wil meemaken moet je hier zeker heen gaan!! De eigenaar doet er alles aan om er een ervaring van te maken, hij bereid alles zorgvuldig zelf voor en geeft bij ieder stukje vlees en kaas een uitleg en unieke tips. Hiervoor doet hij zijn uiterste best. Je ziet dat hij dit met alle liefde en passie doet. Dit was echt onze mooiste ervaring in San Gimignano die we voor geen goud wilde missen! Dus ga zitten (wel beperkt plek maar wacht eventueel buiten even tot er iets vrij komt) bestel de vlees en kaas plank, en ga achterover zitten met een wijntje en geniet van deze ervaring!! Een echte aanrader.

04/12/2024: A small humble shop in San Gimignano, and the experience was absolutely immaculate and gastronomical. We had the pasta with wild boar, pasta with truffles, tagliata with anchovy sauce, lasagna and tiramisu. Every dish blew our minds and taste buds, the flavor in each dish is inexplicable. Not to mention that the view was picturesque as well. Highly recommend a meal here, you will definitely regret it if you do not try.

15/08/2024: We are 2 tourists looking for local delicacies and we are happy we came here because the place was what we expected to find. Fair prices, we took a large platter full of cured meats and cheeses, each one unique and delicious. It was truly a unique experience of flavours, enriched by the cordial welcome of Sami, a very knowledgeable boy who explains the products to us with such passion that it makes me doubt whether he is the owner. Even having a chat with him was very pleasant, making the experience absolutely sublime. Fair prices, I recommend hands down.

31/10/2024: Uns wurde diese Metzgerei von Einheimischen empfohlen. Wir haben uns ein bistecca gegönnt, welches wir ein paar Stunden später über der Holzkohle gegrillt haben. Fazit: top freundliche und professionelle Bedienung! Das gute Stück hatte 1A Qualität! Vielen Dank! Es war perfekt!

13/10/2024: Fantastic meat delicacy in heart of the place - what I liked best was that I was informed at the very beginning before taking the table that the place serves mainly meat and no pastas and pizzas. The meat quality and taste was top notch - i was blown away by the flavours. Also the quantity served was very generous considering the price. Ambience is great too.

07/12/2024: Ho passato una notte a San Gimignano per il 30esimo della mia compagna, ho prenotato in questo ristorante alle ore 20:30 nel pomeriggio per la sera stessa. Una volta davanti le porte del ristorante ho trovato chiuso e la mattina seguente nessuno ha saputo darmi spiegazioni plausibili…che dire!!! Uno staff incompetente ed irrispettoso una cosa mai successa viaggiando piu di 10 paesi e non so quanti ristoranti…quando chiamate occhio allo scherzetto!!! Scandalosi
