29/06/2024: Bit of a spur of the moment decision as we were "resting up" near Lucca part way through a long bike tour in Italy.
Warmly welcomed and the typical amouse bouches and and a series of highly creative dishes were presented in a timely manner. Chef circulated amongst the diners which eas a nice touch and good for him to see how the food was being received.
An early dish, looked like a jaffa cake, but eas Foie Gras impressed. Yes, we're going to hell, but goodness it was tasty.
We'd opted for the wine pairing which provided a perfect accompaniment.
A superb desert finished off the meal, and they were kind enough to sort us out a taxi after it was all over. Superb.
01/06/2024: L’accoglienza è di livello e allineata alla stella: in attesa del menù vengono servite delle piccole entrée tra cui un sigaro di cioccolato ripieno foie gras eccellente.
Abbiamo provato il menù degustazione di mare di cui vale menzionare la tartare di scampo in caprese con croccante al basilico, il risotto ai tre pomodori con foglia d’oro, la linguina artigianale con calamaretti spillo e burro acido al caviale d’aringa, il morone a lenta cottura con patate di montagna e asparagina.
Più deludente la capasanta con velo di guanciale.
Non banale né scontata la scelta dei vini in abbinamento con etichette Friulane, Bordolesi e della Loira.
Sul finale bella l’idea dell’alberello di ulivo con piccola pasticceria insieme al caffè.
Il rapporto qualità/prezzo c’è, l’attenzione del personale anche, peccato solo per un’attesa decisamente eccessiva tra le entrée e l’arrivo della prima portata.

24/07/2024: Het begin was veel belovend een mooi entre en de plek waar je eet is erg romantisch.
Ik was hier met mijn vrouw en kinderen en kinderen is hier een probleem. Ze hebben maar een kinderstoel. Gelukkig zijn de plekken ver uit elkaar dus last van de kinderen hebben de andere gasten niet.
Maar het eten hier was geen goede ervaring. Het personeel is ongelofelijk on professioneel. We hadden een pasta besteld voor de kinderen. Daar moesten we ongeveer een uur op wachten. De pasta van mijn dochter. Die geen tomaten saus eet was dan ook alleen maar pasta. Niet eens een beetje olie. Maar droge pasta en daar vragen ze dan ook nog eens 8 euro voor. Olie moet je zelf halen want de bediening komt niet.
Het eten van mijn vrouw was goed. Dat is na de entre de tweede ster. Mijn eten was echt modder vet. Gefrituurde vis is natuurlijk wat vet maar dit was wel erg, overdreven vet. ( twee dagen last gehad van mijn maag)
De toetjes waren echt om te janken. Het ijs van mijn kinderen was een ijs worst. In een schaaltje geflikkerd zonder iets. Mijn toetje was een rotje uit een verpakking met wat rum er overheen.
Voor deze Allende moet je nog flink afrekenen.
Dus mooie plek maar ga er niet eten als je de Italiaanse standaard van goed eten verwacht
13/07/2024: Tutto perfetto, servizio in spiaggia cortese e disponibile, postazione ben organizzate e tutto molto pulito in più il ristorante veramente di qualità.
Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti

29/06/2024: A great restaurant for an authentic Italian lunch or dinner with the locals. The menu changes regularly and consists of regional dishes and mostly local ingredients. The restaurant is a ten-minute drive from Pietrasanta, uphill via hairpin bends. I would do it again!

23/07/2024: Nice clean restaurant with a warm welcome. We are both vegetarians and had no issues with finding something on the menu. The service was great, the food was average. The calzone was very bland with little taste, quite watery. The profiteroles were lovely.
14/07/2024: Family and hospitable environment, they make very good pizzas. Their Arabic bread is unsurpassed.
