07/08/2026: After driving for almost an hour, convinced I was going to eat "in Lucca," I expected at least a memorable dinner. Instead, it was absolutely average.
The food was good, but nothing that justified the entire trip or the final bill. Normal portions, dishes without any particular surprises, and a value for money that, in my opinion, leaves a lot to be desired. For what we ate, €80 for two seemed decidedly too much: I would have paid around €60 without any regrets.
In short, if you're looking for a place that makes you say "it was worth it," this wasn't my experience. Rather than leaving enthusiastic, I left feeling like I'd paid for the trip as well as the dinner.

Welcoming, friendly service, and of course, delicious food!
From the appetizers to the homemade tortelli and a wide selection of main courses...everything is top-notch!! 5 well-deserved stars!!

15/07/2026: The food looked appealing, but unfortunately it was all defrosted. Some fish and pasta items were also unavailable, which limited the selection. The portions were sufficient to satisfy hunger.
The children enjoyed their meal (schnitzel and fries).

A la carte or fixed menu for €35, very good value. We always opt for the €35 menu, which includes a starter and five courses. Two first courses, two second courses, water, wine, dessert, and coffee.
The restaurant is located along the road from the Quiesa to Viareggio. There's parking nearby, and both indoor and outdoor seating is available; reservations are recommended.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
You can choose between meat, fish, and pizza.
Recommended.

25/04/2026: A truly pleasant place, perfect for a relaxed aperitivo. The beautifully presented platter features a good selection of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by jam and crispy focaccia. The ingredients are excellent, everything fresh and tasty.
The Spritzes are well-made, balanced, and served in the classic glass with orange: ideal to accompany the platter. The atmosphere is welcoming, with outdoor seating making the experience even more enjoyable.
Service was standard, with no long waits. Overall, a recommended place for a quiet aperitivo in good company. 👍

The focaccia with cooked ham, mozzarella, and porcini mushrooms was delicious.
The waiter recommended ordering the pizza quickly, otherwise we would have been overtaken by a large table. That's a great touch.
There were a couple of small misunderstandings, but they still made the evening more fun.
They make the desserts themselves (except for the semifreddo), which is a great thing.
Fair and reasonable prices.
Quiet atmosphere.
Overall, a nice place to dine!

24/07/2026: A disappointment. Two stars as encouragement given the young management. Insufficient menu and small portions. Long service times despite the restaurant being empty on a weekday. The wait staff was uninteresting and inattentive. The price was decidedly high for the service and food. They clearly aren't interested in positive word of mouth. I won't be returning.
22/07/2026: I had a cappuccino... €2.50. It's true that we're in a peaceful oasis, but it's also true that the fuel van arrives right at your door and you even have electricity. The price seems excessive to me.
