24/10/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. The spaghetti allo scoglio is truly delicious, and the Medina desserts are fabulous. I absolutely recommend them.

04/09/2025: We went to this place for fish, because we'd been advised it was very good, plentiful, and reasonably priced... But in our case, that wasn't quite the case. We had two regular salads for €6 each, but I can assure you it was just a handful of salad, although good because it contained garden produce, but the quantity was really small. We then had two spaghetti allo scoglio, with only one peeled shrimp, five or six shellfish to clean, good but not enough, and finally the spaghetti was really small, about 50g. To finish, we had a dessert: custard with a few berries, obviously, served in a small bowl, and only a bottle of still water. So, to sum up: Salad €6 x 2px Spaghetti with seafood €16 x 2px Still water €3 Dessert €6 Coupon €3 x 2px TOTAL €59 In conclusion, we woke up hungry, so we wouldn't recommend it. Total €57

16/02/2026: Everything was great, especially the fish gnocchi, which were truly delicious! A great way to let the kids roam around outside and enjoy a bite to eat in the pine forest under the first rays of spring sunshine. Excellent value. The only downside: the dishes weren't served at the same time, so we had to wait a bit for the other dishes (though it was very crowded and it was the Viareggio Carnival), and even to pay. We'll definitely be back if we ever get back!

16/02/2026: I celebrated my graduation here and can only leave a super positive review. Excellent food, generous portions, a room reserved exclusively for the celebrant until 1 a.m. (not a given for venues in the Lucca plain), and buffet service with a truly kind and friendly lady. Six years ago, I celebrated my eighteenth birthday here, in the summer, in the cabin, and I had a great experience then too. This time, given the winter season, I chose the enclosed room and can fully confirm my positive assessment of the evening. Highly recommended!

25/12/2025: We stayed there for two nights, and it was enough… First, we arrive at the prescribed time and had to wait an hour and a half because the staff does not live there and the lady was very late… Second, the rooms where nice and spacious, but the kitchen was heavily under equipped… Maybe it is a strategy to get you to go to the restaurant ? Third, it was a very hot summer and the air-conditioning was not working… The staff came to look at it and he was very nice about it, but nothing he could do to repair… He offered us to use the pool to cool off, and then the staff gave us a bad review on airbb because we went into the pool after hour which is their fault For not providing the service they claim to have. Four, The tenant under us had dogs that kept barking all night and the restaurant was buzzing, which we can understand and accept, but without the air-conditioning working, we had to keep the window open, and the noise was unbearable… Overall, it was a bad experience and I would not recommend this establishment…

24/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Viareggio and a must-visit. The seafood menu isn't overwhelming, but the quality is truly excellent. Try the tagliolini with lobster. The wine cellar is truly well-stocked.

12/02/2026: I've been to Bagni Brunella for two summers in a row with my family. I'm truly satisfied and can't wait for reservations to reopen for next summer. The establishment is extremely well-organized and cared for down to the smallest detail. Parking is easy and shaded. The cabins, which are built of brick and some have comfortable showers, are meticulously cleaned, and every morning when you enter, you immediately get a fantastic feeling of cleanliness and hygiene. Cleanliness and hygiene are consistently meticulous, even in the numerous restrooms, which are meticulously maintained not only in the morning but throughout the day. The beach is spotless, comfortable, well-managed, and spacious; guests don't bother us at all because the space is more than adequate, and the pool is perfect. The restaurant is an excellent choice, where the serving staff is extremely polite, efficient, prompt, and friendly. The quality of the food is excellent. I also had the opportunity to visit the kitchen and was amazed by the attention to hygiene. The staff's assistance is superb. The lifeguards, both at the pool and on the beach, are kind and helpful. Finally, I can't forget that one day when I wasn't feeling well, I was surrounded by affectionate and immediate attention from the lifeguard first and then from Claudia, who, upon being informed, rushed over and helped me and my wife, called a doctor who was on the beach, and called an ambulance. I can't express my gratitude. I can't wait to return to Bagni Brunella, where even my three-year-old nephew had a blast in the pool and with the children's games.

13/09/2025: Regarding the stars, 5 is the minimum... An elegant facility, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The staff is always available, both for service and advice: Mr. Giuseppe, always on hand, ensuring everything is running smoothly; Claudia (the blonde) is always meticulous in providing service and, above all, in keeping the facility in perfect order, taking care of the smallest details; Daniele, an excellent person, is always available to advise and listen with a warm smile. And finally, the entire staff reflects the wonderful atmosphere!

22/02/2026: Vomit-inducing with hair in the first courses + 2 first courses and a second course of fried food with half a liter of house wine, 2 sgrappini for a total of €100.00, a shameful thing on top of that, the arrogant waiter!!!!😡😡I won't go back and have them closed!!!!!!!

05/06/2025: siamo tornati memori della bella esperienza, sicuramente ci ritorneremo ancora Locale semplice proprio come le trattorie di un tempo, piatti davvero buoni, porzioni generose, personale gentile e sempre disponibile e alla fine anche il conto è una bella sorpresa, Marchino fa capire che è ancora possibile offrire qualità a prezzi onesti. Davvero complimenti. Da provare, l'antipasto misto della casa, i maltagliati al ragù di cinghiale, le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, i funghi fritti.....

25/04/2025: Piacevolissima sorpresa e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci hanno trovato un tavolo anche senza prenotazione e poi abbiamo gustato un antipasto sfiziosissimo. Ottima pasta fresca con tartufo e tordelli profumatissimi. Buon prodotto anche il vino della casa.

05/06/2025: Gran pizza por lonchas. Mi esposa y yo compartimos dos rebanadas y fue bastante lleno. Ella tenía marguerita y yo carne. El lugar es muy casual y tiene solo unas pocas mesas. Llevamos y funcionó bien. También venden vino por la división que era perfecto para nosotros. BTW hicimos un tour gastronómico de Lucca más tarde en la semana y el guía nos trajo aquí.

04/01/2026: New Year's Eve à la carte dinner avoided the exhausting wait for a set menu. Fast service with interesting and beautifully presented dishes. A reasonable price for a New Year's Eve dinner with friendly and attentive service.

09/12/2025: Today was the Avo Versilia New Year's Eve celebration. About 50 of us gathered for the New Year's Eve lunch. Odilio is a well-known restaurant in Torre del Lago. The location is clean and not very bright, making it excellent for family lunches, business lunches, or groups of up to 60-70 people. We enjoyed a well-prepared, traditionally prepared fish menu. The prices were moderately low, and the staff was friendly. Everything was fine.

17/11/2025: We waited half an hour to order, and an hour to get our pizzas, since they gave priority to takeout orders! This is unprofessional! The pizza isn't as good as recommended...

17/09/2025: Pool closed and red flag for the sea, no refund for deckchairs. No open discussion, too bad we plan to come during the week, luckily we only paid 1 day to try
