01/11/2025: 📍 La Farga Pizzeria Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stumbled upon it for lunch by chance, as it was on the way, but it was a real discovery! The cuisine is home-style, with simple yet truly delicious dishes. Everything was fresh, well-cooked, and with flavors reminiscent of home. The service was friendly and attentive. An authentic place that makes you feel at home right away. Highly recommended for those who love good food without too many frills. We'll be happy to return!

05/10/2025: If you want an authentic Tuscan cuisine experience, this is the place to be. Mrs. Filu is extremely kind, welcoming, and an exceptional cook. Dishes are made with passion and tradition, and it feels like stepping back in time with Italian music from the '60s and '80s playing in the background. Excellent value, good house wine, and generous portions. The appetizers are a must-try.

08/09/2025: Rustic trattoria, good food. Excellent home cooking, Mrs. Filomena is friendly and very helpful, as is the waiter. Recommended!

08/02/2026: Traditional pizzeria, where pizza is a cult. Original flavors that endure over time. For me, it's like being a kid again! A pizza that's instantly digestible. The quality of the ingredients makes all the difference. What can I say about the Cecina? Fantastic! I recommend stopping by and trying a slice to take away!

12/01/2026: A quaint, family-friendly place right in the heart of Lucca. The staff is attentive, polite, and above all friendly and kind. The owner is a delightful and very pleasant person. We came in with a stroller and they gave us a little room all to ourselves. We ordered a Capricciosa for two (we were initially hesitant whether it would be enough for two, especially since I eat a lot). It was a feast of visuals and authenticity. In short, if you want to feel at home, eat well, and spend little, go to this pizzeria.

10/03/2026: Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!! We waited an hour for a first course, explaining that it was rush hour... maybe they're quicker at 5 pm? Not satisfied, they served us COLD spaghetti with clams and fried calamari and shrimp. The owner, completely indifferent to our dissatisfaction, managed to charge us 9 euros for half a glass of white wine... PLEASE DON'T GO THERE!

23/11/2025: I went for lunch with my husband as a stopover on the way to San Pellegrino, and we were extremely satisfied and surprised by the tasting menu they served with extreme kindness and speed. The dishes are excellent, varied, and imaginative. We paired them with a local wine, "Casa e Chiesa," a Merlot. The price was more than fair. When we return, we will happily stop again. 25/01/2026: Restaurants like this are almost unheard of these days. Eating here also requires you to avoid high-profile expectations or those of Instagram photos. It's a rustic yet spacious place, open for 60 years, a lifetime behind it. They saved our lunch because we showed up at a slightly late hour, and the owners, who are also mother and son chefs, welcomed us with great kindness and helpfulness. The simple, family-friendly atmosphere makes you feel immediately at ease. The mixed tortelli dish was delicious, and the homemade nocino was superb! The tagliatellina cake melts in your mouth. It's worth the expense because it's a breath of fresh air among so many places that lack soul and think they're a bit too much.

17/12/2025: A place that's stuck in the past 50 years, but still a reliable source of value. The innkeeper, Anna, and her son are the heart of this place, making me feel at home. Delicious and plentiful food!

22/02/2026: Reservations were initially unavailable, but we were contacted again for a table that had become available. Beautiful atmosphere, refined food, and an excellent wine list.

17/02/2026: We returned for dinner last week. It's hard to ask for anything better. High-quality fish, meticulous attention to ingredients, warm hospitality, and prices in line with the excellent cuisine.

12/11/2025: Every year after Lucca Comics, it's a must-see for dinner. Excellent food, excellent wines. Ask the owner for a whisky recommendation; he's a true enthusiast.

30/01/2026: Interminable wait, there is only one pizza chef who is also at the cash register, there should be at least 3. More than half the tables wait in vain sipping beers that inevitably get warm... I will never go back there again.

09/11/2025: This is my second time here, and the second time it's always the same story. It's a birthday table, you call, and they force you to pay €20 per person for an aperitif, or else the food won't all arrive at once, and we'll be forced to do it Roman style. Okay, we accept. The platters arrive with cold food, there's no one-size-fits-all tasting, some items are limited in quantity, and the platters are randomly arranged. They bring some things to some, and other items to others. We complain, and not much is done. To make up for it, they deliver large quantities of subpar food, like cold, poorly made sandwiches, stale focaccia, cold crostini with sausage and frozen mozzarella. We had to ask for some items to be reheated, otherwise inedible. Regardless, we felt bad afterwards because the food clearly isn't good quality. Once can happen twice in a year, I think it's the rule here. Furthermore, the staff, while friendly, doesn't do much to hide the annoyance felt by a (justifiably) dissatisfied table. The place also has terrible acoustics; you have to shout to be heard. Perhaps they'll treat you better if you're two people. Highly discouraged for large tables with a set menu.

01/07/2025: Alpino is a great place to hang out with the locals and enjoy great coffee and pastries. Morning and night, the place is full of visitors and locals. A great way to blend in and feel like a local.

11/01/2026: A hotel nestled between the sea and the Apuan Alps, very close to Forte dei Marmi and other picturesque towns in the area, including Pietrasanta. Hospitality and kindness make this hotel the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. Parking is included.

06/01/2026: RV park, a 20-minute walk from the center. We stayed there in winter: bathrooms and hot showers are included in the rate and were clean and heated. The pitch has electricity and water hookups. There are coin-operated washing machines and a dryer. Be careful with the opening hours, as it seems check-in closes at 7:30 PM. In any case, call the manager, who is very helpful. I highly recommend it!

03/01/2026: A quiet, well-equipped place. I stayed for two days with my children. It's the perfect place for anyone seeking tranquility.
