09/08/2024: Beautiful location in the mountains of Lucca, a terrace overlooking the lake. Informal place with plastic tables and chairs. Fixed menu at 25 euros with little choice but sincere and genuine dishes. The real negative point is the service, amateurs in disarray, there is no organization in the management of the tables, the waitresses wander disoriented among the tables in a disorganized manner, the consequences there are very long waiting times and tables served before others who have been waiting for dozens and dozens of minutes. A piece of advice: review the organization of the service.

19/07/2024: My daughter attended an 18th in this location, my daughter has celiac disease, she had a great time, she ate well, a lot of attention and professionalism, unfortunately for a celiac this is not always the case. I highly recommend it.

I have always gone to eat at Bagno Buoniamici and have always had a good time This year I decided to celebrate my birthday here and I must say that, in addition to the excellent quality of the food, the organization was impeccable; Antonella was attentive to everything, even reserving the entire covered outdoor room for me. 07/08/2024: Very good dinner with reasonable prices for being practically on the sea. FAST, polite and very kind waiters. They saw me hot and asked me if I wanted a napkin with ice. A thousand thanks! I will recommend it

08/08/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant with a table on the beach, overlooking the sea. Mr. Fulvio's hospitality was exceptional, he offered us two caciucco paired with a truly excellent and abundant pinot noir. The spaghetti with lobsters is also excellent. We will certainly return also for the excellent value for money.

17/08/2024: This review is for the restaurant only. We didn't make a reservation, but we got a spot. The service was quick, but not friendly and cleared away even though we were still eating. There was an allergen text at the beginning that you should let us know. I immediately asked what was gluten free and they only recommended the seafood risotto. However, the kitchen is small and contamination can occur. It was okay. The Aperol Spritz was large and delicious.

10/08/2024: Nice swimming beach. Entry for 2 people costs €30 per day. You are led to the square and given a short introduction to the restaurant on your first visit (which we never tried). Unfortunately, the women's toilet wasn't appealing at all. But otherwise everything was great. The loungers also have integrated head cushions.

25/08/2024: Four of us went to dinner in this place, the first impression was wonderful, then little by little we continued with the dinner, every moment was sublime, wonderful dinner, friendly and very kind staff, the evening was exceptional, thanks to all the staff, good, good from someone who does your job in the kitchen.

20/07/2024: The place is microscopic, and like most pastry shops (and ice cream shops) in Lucca there is no outdoor seating even if there is space available 🤷🏻, so with eight customers you have already run out of seats. Rather inexplicable that on a Saturday morning at 10.30 there is only one person to do everything, and of course, that's fine because the service was impeccable anyway, but only the cleanliness issue suffers if there is no one to help from time to time a sponge wipe on the tables to remove crumbs and various drips. The quality of the food is good with a good variety of vegetable variations of the cappuccino, the pastries are also good, fresh and with a decent variety.

11/08/2024: Or I got the carbonara pizza and it didn't have much flavor, in the spicy salami the tomato was too salty, it must be said that the dough was really good, even the desserts weren't bad. The environment was nice and the staff very friendly and qualified

10/10/2023: The place is no longer called Osteria Da Giomo, it is now Osteria di Valgiano. The type of fixed menu and typical Tuscan cuisine remains.

08/08/2024: Cheerful and informal atmosphere. Dog friendly. The Istela restaurant, inside the bathroom, is excellent but the prices have been increased a little.

09/08/2024: We went here on our last night in Lucca and it was fantastic. The dishes were well presented and were excellent in flavor. We were given a terrific wine recommendation and we sampled dishes from every course. We were very pleased with every dish. We highly recommend this jewel of a restaurant. Do not miss this place. You will not be disappointed!
