26/06/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks available any time of day. A tobacco shop is also included. Large parking lot across the street and an ATM next door. We love coming here. 👍🇩🇪

21/05/2025: Sono stato in questa pizzeria con alcuni amici e ne siamo usciti tutti entusiasti. L’atmosfera è accogliente, curata nei dettagli ma senza essere troppo pretenziosa: ti fa sentire subito a casa. La pizza è semplicemente eccezionale: impasto leggero, fragrante, con una lievitazione perfetta e ingredienti freschissimi. Ho provato una margherita con bufala e pomodorini del piennolo: un’esplosione di gusto! Anche le pizze dei miei amici erano tutte diverse e tutte ottime — segno di grande cura e costanza nella qualità. Il personale è gentile, attento e sempre sorridente. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno, il servizio è stato veloce e impeccabile. Prezzi assolutamente onesti per la qualità offerta. Tornerò sicuramente. Se amate la vera pizza, questa pizzeria è una tappa obbligatoria. Pefforza!

03/06/2025: I've lived in the area for 3 months and have sampled a lot of pizzas in and around Lucca and I can honestly say this was the best. Exceptional value for money too.

29/03/2025: Only take-out pizza, but...what a pizza, guys! Giant in size, goodness and quality of ingredients! It's worth taking it home and eating it with family or friends, but absolutely worth trying!

01/07/2025: SO AND SO. Given the good reviews we decide to try the restaurant da Filippo. As soon as we arrive they make us choose whether to eat outside or inside, we opt for outside. We don't start off very well when the couple who arrived after us were welcomed first and served first, but an oversight can happen. We choose the 'so it is if you like' menu, after the third course we realize that the menu was wrong and we proceeded with the seafood one, our fault for not having pointed out the mistake, unfortunately however we have reached the second oversight. The food is good, but not excellent as advertised. Disappointed by the sprinkling of 'crusco' pepper, being originally from those areas I know it very well and honestly I remember a different and less 'powdered' flavor, the chef will surely have understood what I'm talking about. The tables outside are literally in the dark and it's really difficult to see what's on the plate. The truly exceptional thing is the bread, with a FANTASTIC leavening and an excellent flavor! The price was influenced by the exchange of menus, we rightly spent for what we ate. The customer-chef relationship, which is usually found in certain places, was zero, too bad, a comparison or acquaintance is always nice. Unfortunately I don't feel like recommending it. 18/06/2025: Great restaurant with delicious food!!!! We went with a large group and were pleasantly surprised by the portions and taste of the meals. They don't divide the portions but give from the heart. We ordered 3 soups 😋 and they brought us so much soup in a pot that we would eat 6 people. Same with pasta 😋. Huge portions. The lady who serves doesn't speak English but explained everything to us using a translator on her phone. You can eat almost any Italian dish there. The only downside is the lack of a MENU card. You have to say what you want and the lady either confirms that they can make it or not. It would definitely be easier to order if I saw what was written on the card. The first time we were scared but later we knew what and how and each of us already knew what we were going to order. Thank you for the DELICIOUS food 😘

08/06/2025: I was looking for something authentic, traditional, handmade, and with real taste. That's exactly what I found here. The prices are fair, the quality is very impressive, and the service is attentive and competent. I'll be happy to come back and recommend it wholeheartedly.
