07/02/2026: Second time at this delightful little restaurant in the center of Viareggio. Confirmation of excellent dishes made with fresh ingredients. Special mention for the tagliolini with squid ink, burrata, and shrimp tartare. Extremely friendly service from the owner, the chef's wife.
Creme chocolate that will make even those who don't have any can lick their lips.

11/01/2026: Beautiful setting on the first-floor terrace overlooking the sea, excellent and beautifully presented food, excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable waiters; although the restaurant is pricey, it's perfect for special occasions.

Quality food, efficient and courteous staff, and a quiet atmosphere: all strong points.

26/11/2025: Very classic dishes, nothing wow-worthy or innovative, but excellent quality and attention to detail. The service was impeccable, too.
We started with tartar and stuffed mussels (slightly salty), followed by cheek (which melted in the mouth) and the fish of the day. I also recommend the desserts; we opted for the apple pie and the mascarpone pie (pictured). They also brought us an amuse bouche and, along with the desserts, an assortment of their small pastries.
The wine list is also good.

16/02/2026: Early morning. Destination Monte Tambura for a winter climb. As we pass through town, some of us ask for a coffee, a quick breakfast. We notice this place and stop. We enter disheartened, thinking: "Breakfast with the usual frozen pasta and low-quality coffee." In the window, we notice some focaccia. "Shall we have a savory breakfast? What do you think?" It's satisfying, delicious! Warm, soft, and perfectly salted on top. So if you stop for breakfast, give it a try!
08/11/2025: On our way back from a trek, we stopped for dinner. The atmosphere was family-friendly and super welcoming.
We'll be back!

21/12/2025: Little or nothing of the old-fashioned quality remains. The selection is too limited, with four first courses and four second courses, one of which wasn't available. I ordered ravioli and guanciale with mashed potatoes...my wife ordered squid, which she had to send back to the kitchen. The price was completely out of proportion.

01/01/2026: By pure chance, eight of us found ourselves knocking on the door of this charming little restaurant at 1:30 PM on January 1st. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming us and serving us attentively. The food was all delicious, the house wine was perfect to accompany the dishes, and the homemade desserts were delicious! The atmosphere was clean and welcoming.
A pleasant discovery that I highly recommend!
21/12/2025: A family atmosphere and attention to detail. The manager is very willing to accommodate every need. Traditional Lucca dishes vary seasonally, with the addition of special menu items. A good selection of wines. It's like dining with family, but with class and elegance.

26/12/2025: We chose this place for Christmas because of its intimate, well-decorated, and charming atmosphere. The excellent cuisine allowed us to sample unique, carefully crafted and refined dishes, paired with competent and welcoming service. We'll definitely return, especially to discover new dishes. I recommend the fresh tagliolino, top notch.
