16/02/2026: Early morning. Destination Monte Tambura for a winter climb. As we pass through town, some of us ask for a coffee, a quick breakfast. We notice this place and stop. We enter disheartened, thinking: "Breakfast with the usual frozen pasta and low-quality coffee." In the window, we notice some focaccia. "Shall we have a savory breakfast? What do you think?" It's satisfying, delicious! Warm, soft, and perfectly salted on top. So if you stop for breakfast, give it a try!

I would improve the spa, which is slightly too bright and not heated enough, especially the water in the large pool. Also, only 3 of the 8 hydromassage stations were working.

01/01/2026: By pure chance, eight of us found ourselves knocking on the door of this charming little restaurant at 1:30 PM on January 1st. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming us and serving us attentively. The food was all delicious, the house wine was perfect to accompany the dishes, and the homemade desserts were delicious! The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. A pleasant discovery that I highly recommend!

21/12/2025: A family atmosphere and attention to detail. The manager is very willing to accommodate every need. Traditional Lucca dishes vary seasonally, with the addition of special menu items. A good selection of wines. It's like dining with family, but with class and elegance.

15/08/2025: Today, August 15th, a group of friends and I went to eat at the old shack for the first time...the food was super excellent and plentiful, the service was almost all young, really, really good and very kind...the price and atmosphere were truly excellent...we will return and recommend it...Lorella

22/02/2026: We happened upon it and stopped right in after seeing the menu. The owners are very kind, and we had a truly delicious lunch. I had seafood spaghetti carbonara, and my partner had a delicious fried fish dish, followed by an excellent tiramisu... You guys are fantastic. If we ever pass through Pietrasanta again, we'll be back right away.

The menu offers a wide and well-curated selection, with careful research and unusual pairings. The cuisine is creative yet traditional, using top-quality ingredients. The excellent value for money is also noteworthy. The service is one of its true strengths: professional, friendly, and attentive to detail, with a genuine care for the customer that makes you feel welcomed and discreetly looked after throughout the evening. An ideal place for both a special dinner and a pleasant evening with friends, where you can enjoy good food and a lovely atmosphere. Recommended!

04/02/2026: The restaurant was renovated a few months ago and is now very comfortable. The food is well-cooked and the staff is prompt and courteous. Obviously, during the summer months, being a seaside resort, the town gets very busy... so the noise level in the restaurant depends on the season. But we always go against the grain. Good wine selection.

21/12/2025: Little or nothing of the old-fashioned quality remains. The selection is too limited, with four first courses and four second courses, one of which wasn't available. I ordered ravioli and guanciale with mashed potatoes...my wife ordered squid, which she had to send back to the kitchen. The price was completely out of proportion.

14/12/2025: I'll never go back after this thing that happened to me: one night I went to a classy dinner at this place, I ordered a simple four-cheese pizza, and I had to wait an hour for my pizza, even though it wasn't that crowded (so while I was waiting, everyone else had already finished eating). When the pizza finally arrived, I immediately noticed that there was a hair in my pizza; I told the waitress and she said they'd remake it right away (I even ordered a completely different pizza, so they wouldn't remove the hair and then give it back to me). The other pizza took strangely little to arrive, and in fact, it was still too raw, and I ended up feeling sick for the rest of the evening because it started to rise in my stomach (and it's been almost 7 years since I felt this sick, so imagine how bad it was). Finally, after all these things that happened, to "apologize," they gave me a discount of ONLY 1 EURO; And in total I spent 20 euros on: a drink, a pizza (disgusting), and a coffee. Avoid this restaurant, and your stomach will thank you.

28/07/2025: Nice and cozy on the roof terrace with a view of the mountains. The pizzas are absolutely top-notch, the crust is nice and thin, and the toppings are perfectly adequate. I highly recommend it.
