21/09/2024: In visita a Lucca, volendo fare uno spuntino abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui al Fiaschetto. Come prima cosa ci ha colpito la cortesia dei proprietari che ci hanno suggerito cosa assaggiare e ci siamo intrattenuti anche per due chiacchiere. Che dire, prodotti locali buonissimi, super cortesia e ospitalità, prezzi ragionevoli ed ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Traspare l'amore che hanno per il loro lavoro. La porchetta buonissima, i crostini con il lardo spettacolari! Sicuramente ci torneremo, consigliatissimo!

09/12/2024: Small but very characteristic place in the center of Lucca but away from the busiest streets. Small menu but with interesting dishes also for vegetarians. Wine list full of niche producers, local and otherwise, at reasonable prices. Courteous and fast service. Well done!!

10/12/2024: Solo business dinner... Top class place in Barga, where you have to book, otherwise you watch others eat from the window. Here tradition meets modern cuisine, the dishes are divinely presented, the quality of the raw materials is excellent. The wine list offers specialties from all over our country although I prefer to stay in the area, where there are less famous wines but with a high level aroma and flavour. Excellent value for money, highly recommended 🔝💯🔝💯🔝

07/12/2024: Cozy place, in the heart of the town. We ate very well, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Well-kept and clean bathrooms. Even though there is no telephone line, it is possible to request access to the venue's Wi-Fi.

25/11/2024: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo in questo locale storico, frutto di tradizione nella macelleria di qualità, ed e stata una bellissima esperienza. I gestori e lo staff sono stati accoglienti e gentili nel farci scegliere le soluzioni migliori per gustare al meglio i loro piatti. Un vero piacere dal pane alla carne e per finire al caffè! Ci siamo arrivati per caso e le recensioni ci hanno invogliato a fermarci..ma alla prossima occasione non mancheremo di ritornarci!

22/11/2024: Scelta azzeccata! Una pubblicità di Instagram ci ha fatto conoscere questo posto fenomenale. Che dire: materia prima non si discute. A pranzo il menù ha varie proposte, noi abbiamo scelto 1 menù bistecca (che comprende bistecca di circa 1/2 kg cotta ed insaporita ad arte+contorno di verdure al forno, acqua e vino inclusi), abbiamo scelto anche una porzione di tordelli al ragù che ce li sognano anche la notte (e non vediamo l’ora di mangiarli di nuovo), una patata al forno, mezzo litro di vino ed una zuppa inglese fenomenale. Come se non bastasse, durante il pranzo, ci è stato fatto assaggiare del salame artigianale davvero squisito. Luca ed il suo staff troppo simpatici e gentili. A malincuore chiedo di non spargere troppo la voce altrimenti non si trova più posto. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che giusto. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare stavolta a cena. W la ciccia e le belle persone

02/11/2024: Siamo stati in questa gelateria con un gruppo di amici, tutti siciliani e, per noi, il gelato al pistacchio è quasi sacro! Ammettiamo che eravamo un po’ scettici, ma dopo il primo assaggio siamo rimasti davvero impressionati: la qualità del pistacchio era eccezionale, con un sapore intenso e autentico che ci ha sorpreso. Possiamo dire senza esitazione che questo gelato al pistacchio è migliore di quello di molte gelaterie della Sicilia! Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un gusto autentico e inconfondibile. Torneremo sicuramente!

01/09/2024: I stopped in this ice cream shop because I was attracted by the "vegan options" sign: I was really curious to see how many and what flavors I would find here and... surprise of surprises, not the usual fruit flavors but there were Pistachio, Hazelnut and Chocolate dark 😍 The best surprise was that the waffles were also vegan, so I got a nice cone with pistachio and chocolate, very satisfied, also with the kindness of the girl who served me :) The price seemed a little high to me (€3.50 for two flavors) but it must also be said that I haven't been to an ice cream shop since last year, so maybe we're within the norm 😅 I took it with me to go and eat it in the small square nearby, since the ice cream shop didn't have tables outside but only inside. I was afraid it would be too sweet and sugary, but it was PERFECT for my taste! I enjoyed it a lot, it's a shame because I would have liked to make it last longer but it was melting and I had to finish it quickly! 😢 Very good, I will definitely be back! I was really satisfied 💕💕

09/12/2024: 2-Star Michelin well deserved. Every Sunday at lunch, they offer a €110 pp five course tasting menu which offers items not featured on their regular dinner menu and changes weekly (go to their site to read the menu proposed, make a reservations, add special requests like roses or a birthday cake, and list any allergies). Very generous portions. An amuse-bouche, three choices in bread with olive oil, first serving of appetizers with three bites, second serving of appetizers by the chef from their asian partner restaurant, a pasta dish, a main entree, a desert, and small chocolates or pastries and coffee or tea. Each Sunday they feature a different wine label and offer pairings for €30-60 depending on the label and how many wines you try. They recently refreshed the restaurant space, adding luxurious carpeting, and a sophisticated mixed interior design honoring the 100 year history of the hotel with moder art. The service was beyond impeccable. Warm and unpretentious. Every team member had extensive knowledge of the restaurant, hotel history, the chef, and the dishes even if the dishes were new. The hotel itself is an oasis. From the very formal and welcoming doorman, to the washcloths and small glass bottles of acqua panna and san pellegrino that are free and at the door for your convenience, to the three various waiting areas and elegant bathrooms. The hotel has an underground garage, and I'm sure valet, but in this low season there was ample paid street parking. The music in the restaurant was a wonderful soft modern jazz version of Christmas songs, the kind that takes listening to the words to even realize they were Christmas songs. The window boxes of beautifully trimmed bushes play peekaboo with glimpses of the turbulent sea across the street. These chairs were some of the most comfortable we have tried in any restaurant. We asked for a more private table when we booked, and they made sure we were seated in a section alone and even closed the semi partitions so no one could observe us. With our long list of allergies, dietary restrictions, and intolerances, they perfectly adjusted the menu and graciously met every need without us ever feeling like a burden. The smiling staff and immensely relaxing lunch was followed up with a small tour personally by chef Mancino. Originally from Salerno, he's made this place his home for the last 20 years. Passionate in providing high luxury experiences to an international clientele. We definitely will return but will stay in the hotel so we can try Chef Mancino's award winning huge breakfast buffet (that has a sushi and Asian corner, a middle eastern corner, a pressed juice bar, and an egg spread that offers several different types of eggs, including the rare purple and green chicken eggs, quail and ostrich). It's rare for me to so enthusiastically give an all around five star review. It's even more rare with a sensory processing disorder and so many dietary intolerances, have such a truly relaxing and enjoyable one of a kind meal.

02/12/2024: Piccolo ristorante situato al centro di Lucca, attratto dalle buone recensioni decido di prenotare in anticipo. L'interno seppur piccolo è carino, il personale è cordiale ed edcato, viene anche spiegato il menu del giorno. I tempi di attesa tra i vari pasti sono buoni. Confermo che la scelta nel menù non è molta, ma va bene lo stesso. Qualità ottima. Prezzi coerenti con la qualità e la location. Prenotate in anticipo, saggio consiglio.

24/11/2024: Innanzitutto questo spazio ha un’accoglienza buonissima. I camerieri sono bravissimi e attenti. Abbiamo ordinato beef di manzo e una pasta fatta a casa. Due piatti perfetti! C’è ancora buona varietà de vino.
