20/08/2024: Had two sandwiches and a shared ignusa non filtrata on two seats in front of the place - just wonderful! Mortadella burrata and fig was super juicy; prociutto crudo pecorino was truly tasteful. Would recommend!

18/08/2024: It has become one of our favorites since the first dish we tasted a few months ago. The Gramophone is now a fixed stop when we pass through Lucca on our holiday road! The dishes are definitely out of the ordinary, the ones we tried were delicious. The desserts never disappoint and the service is impeccable! August 2024, the salmon sashimi salad was truly memorable! We'll be back! 😊

17/08/2024: Had dinner here yesterday with my girlfriend and we had a great evening! The level of service is high, the staff knows their food and wines. Plus they speak proper english. The food is also really good. The menu has some beautiful and thoughtful dishes. We even had the luck to enjoy some live jazz music, which was not to soft but also not too dominant. 10/10.

10/08/2024: We were holidaying in Viareggio and this was an incredible highlight of our holiday. Superb food served with warmth, kindness and care from a lovely and lively team. Beautiful attention to detail and focus on delivering exceptional food and an experience second to none. We're still talking about the pudding which consisted of grapefruit gel, pink peppercorn ice cream, rose cream and a corn biscuit. Just awesome. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Incidentally, easy parking and easy to find!

01/09/2024: I stopped in this ice cream shop because I was attracted by the "vegan options" sign: I was really curious to see how many and what flavors I would find here and... surprise of surprises, not the usual fruit flavors but there were Pistachio, Hazelnut and Chocolate dark 😍 The best surprise was that the waffles were also vegan, so I got a nice cone with pistachio and chocolate, very satisfied, also with the kindness of the girl who served me :) The price seemed a little high to me (€3.50 for two flavors) but it must also be said that I haven't been to an ice cream shop since last year, so maybe we're within the norm 😅 I took it with me to go and eat it in the small square nearby, since the ice cream shop didn't have tables outside but only inside. I was afraid it would be too sweet and sugary, but it was PERFECT for my taste! I enjoyed it a lot, it's a shame because I would have liked to make it last longer but it was melting and I had to finish it quickly! 😢 Very good, I will definitely be back! I was really satisfied 💕💕

08/08/2024: Good restaurant in the center of Barga. I use quality products with a predilection for those from the area. I haven't been here for years and I must say that I found it improved.

01/08/2024: I was in this restaurant on August 1st, very nice place, very kind staff. We were with dogs including a German shepherd, no problem and I was welcomed with joy and compliments. Excellent menu, superb desserts. Thank you!

14/08/2024: Visiting Tenuta Adamo Winery with my friends was a great experience with good wines and a friendly vibe. We had fun with fellow visitors, including some cool Americans and a couple. 31/08/2024: Staff very attentive, pleasant and friendly. The appetizers were delicious, fresh and traditional. I suggest the risotto, pork and peppers and fried anchovies, dessert’s were very delicious. From the start of phone reservation service to the end of our meal we were treated very good and I highly recommend. Great service , very tasty food and ambience. I will definitely dine here again when I visit Luca in the future. The staff treats tourist as equal as the locals who are dining in.

26/08/2024: Just absolutely excellent from start to finish. This is a front of house team with high-end aspirations, serving exceptional food at every course. We were welcomed warmly and seated in the beautiful piazza as a band played in the centre. After drinking our welcome drinks we chose a wine and a couple of appetisers and mains from their focused but appealing menu. And then the food came. Canestrino tomato stuffed with pesto and burrata and liberally doused in watermelon gazpatcho was a highlight, but that's to cast no shade whatsoever on the beef tartare that was absolutely packed with flavour. For mains I enjoyed a wonderful ravioli stuffed with needlefish and swimming in a rich, fishy broth, while my husband's roast pork dish was just fantastic. We shared a superb dessert - a shortcrust pastry, verbena and cream concoction that was deeply impressive. I can't recommend L'Angolo Tondo highly enough. A really special evening.

15/08/2024: Negative experience and I'm very sorry about it. We book a couple of days in advance for a dinner at Sementis, on the phone we ask if they accept dogs (we have two, it's August and with the crowds of tourists I'm the first to put my hands up, the dogs can be annoying). They reply no problem, to which we ask for a quiet table, I reply that there is the garden. Perfect. 9.00 pm? We relaunch 9.30pm because we have a long way to go to get there. Awarded. We arrive, the waiters explain to us that there must have been a misunderstanding and that dinner is in the garden at 9pm so we must have misunderstood. If we want we can wait a bit and maybe a table becomes free, we reply that it's fine for us to eat outside (among other things, the outside furniture is very nice, the tables overlook the street of the historic center but there is no it's hustle and bustle, it seems very pleasant). And here comes the mistake, probably ours, because they make us sit outside, yes, but on a table right in the middle of the entrance, with the result that the dogs have to lie down in the passage, with great hindrance of customers and waiters and also us, that we must constantly check! After less than ten minutes, a customer stepped on my dog, which was calmly lying where it was told to stay, due to lack of space. For me the dinner ended there, the dishes were perhaps even good but honestly I expect such a lack of interest when going to Mario's pizzeria. A 100% vegan place, with lots of talk about love for work and ethics that then parks your dog on the transit route, for me it's a no. I spent the rest of the dinner with my eyes in the back of my head, trying to predict the movements of customers and waiters to prevent Nova from being trampled on again, the bastard didn't even complain. But I do, that being vegan doesn't just mean not eating animals but also taking care of them, regardless of what goes into your pocket at the end of the evening.

11/08/2024: Ho cenato al ristorante.Locale poco curato, forse volutamente. Cucina vegana per non vegani. Nel senso che ritrovi colori e gusti di piatti non vegani ma rivisitati in chiave vegetale. Come ad esempio il cacciucco o i tortelli il beyond burger. Sapori, sentori e consistenza al morso ti traggono in inganno. Buoni anche il piatto di formaggi vegetali, il vegani pad thai e il semifreddo agli arachidi. Ho apprezzato meno il vegani sushi, la Pavlova ed il cheesecake crudista.

17/08/2024: Very good food, place with attention to detail... the problem lies in the people who frequent it. Poorly "dressed" girls, wearing almost nothing, with noisy, annoying behavior, who spend the whole evening screaming and taking photos. Unfortunately these places do not apply any type of criteria for customer selection - the only criterion: as long as they pay. Sin.

15/08/2024: Perhaps it was born as a restaurant with a Michelin star but now it is a good, noisy trattoria like all trattorias, with some delicious historic dishes but also dishes that are not adequate for quality, quantity and price. Managing a Michelin restaurant means knowing how to give up a few tables to give the customer a more serene and peaceful environment, and a few more escapes.

19/08/2024: Ristorante a gestione familiare con menu fisso (in nome omen!) a 35Euro deciso giorno per giorno . Tutto cucinato perfettamente, gusti autentici, delizia per il palato adorabile come la cucina della mamma. Guidati da Marco e sua moglie si arriva al dolce soddisfatti ma non appesantiti. Segnalo i tordelli favolosi che si sciolgono in bocca, gnocchi ai funghi dormienti delicati e gustosi e pollo al coccio, ma chissà se li avrete anche voi ;) Un'esperienza davvero originale per uscire dalla routine dei ristoranti con lucine led e piatti finto Michelin...

22/08/2024: I am a regular customer of the Tau Mansion. The food is excellent, from burgers to beers, and what about the staff: kind, friendly, always available and always make you feel welcome. I highly recommend it!!
