01/10/2024: Finalmente dopo diversi anni che continuavano a consigliarcelo ce l'abbiamo fatta a cenarci!! Il ristoratore è gentilissimo e molto simpatico e con passione ti guida nella scelta dei vari piatti. Porzioni abbondanti e pesce fresco da consumare su una bella terrazza panoramica, cosa si vuole di più??!! Consiglio la pasta fatta in casa e l'antipasto misto di pesce. Prezzo adeguato.

08/10/2024: Capitati per caso, intimoriti dall'eleganza del posto e dalle portate servite, non possiamo che recensire positivamente questo ristorante. Abbiamo presto il menù degustazione entrambi..una scoperta di sapori e associazioni mai provati.. gusti particolari..dal frutto della passione a piccole palline di caffè associate a pesce e carne.. Una vera esperienza culinaria da riprovare sicuramente.

14/10/2024: We discovered this restaurant on Straccoligno beach on a Sunday in October, because with my girlfriend and our 2 month old baby, we wanted to have lunch by the sea, given the beautiful sunny day. Choice was no longer right. We ate some super good spaghetti with seafood and spaghetti with octopus, excellent fried calamari, prawns and octopus and concluded with a waffle filled with exceptional Chantilly cream and strawberries, all accompanied by a good white wine from Elba. Excellent value for money. The staff was super kind and welcoming, also considering that it was the last day of opening at the end of an entire season, which was not at all a given. The rest was given by the sun, the sea and the beach loungers, on which they kindly made us sit at the end of lunch to end a day in absolute relaxation! 😎 We will definitely be back! Thank you! 🤩

The waffles and even the ice creams are gluten-free, there are lactose-free options. If you have a sweet tooth you can add a little cream, which never hurts. They make the ice cream there and are all local products. Tastes often change based on what the land offers us. I don't think I've ever tasted better ice cream! 🍦🍧🍨😁

03/10/2024: Frittura di pesce fatt ala momento e mangiata al volo ai tavolini fuori sulla via. Talmente tanta gente che abbiamo preso da bere dal locale affianco (Anfiteatro) che aveva un tavolino libero. Bellissima serata.

We chose only meat menus, from crostini, to tagliatelle with wild boar, to sliced ​​Cinta Senese, to tartare, with a side dish of fried artichokes and finally apple pie with mascarpone. All accompanied by a good wine from a local company. The dishes were very good and plentiful. The waitress, Mr. Dany, in addition to her professionalism, brought out her friendliness. 08/01/2025: I came in January. First of all, all the staff members are very kind and can speak English. He explained the menu in detail and ordered all the recommended items. The appetizers were tuna bruschetta, mushroom and white fish mille-feuille, teriyaki octopus with mayo, spaghetti with mussels, and thick pasta with ragu, all of which brought out the flavors of the ingredients very well and were very satisfying.

01/01/2025: It was Dec 27th, so not so much fresh fish to buy at the market, but dinner was great. I place I will suggest to everyone having time in Leghorn.

26/01/2025: On an atypical day in January we even had the opportunity to have lunch outside. Everything is delicious and everything is also gluten-free because I have celiac disease. We ordered the crostoni with cuttlefish and porcini mushrooms as an appetizer and a soutè of mussels (huge) followed by tagliolini with clams and paccheri, anchovies, cod and yellow cherry tomatoes. To conclude, two panna cottas with their wild orange jam. Worth mentioning are the very kind restaurateurs. We'll be back!

11/02/2025: Magnificent location to say the least. It consists of an interior but also a very well-kept exterior. The restaurant is large and also suitable for large tables. The table arrangement keeps privacy intact and the meal enjoyable without having to hear neighboring tables talking. The staff is highly trained and friendly, meets every need and is always available. He works precisely, impeccably from every point of view. Speaking instead of food, there are far too many words that could describe it, but the ones that I find most correct are: research, quality and experience. In fact, the dishes cannot be found in any other restaurant in Italy. They present themselves well to the eye and are the result of truly incredible technical and raw material research. Meats that touch perfection, risottos that are addictive, very particular cured meats and cheeses that take your breath away. The owner's passion in the search for fine and rare meats is immediately evident when dream cuts of meat appear before you. Just as the work, dedication and knowledge of his wife, as well as chef, are clear when the dish arrives on the table. Don't underestimate the wines, recommended by the very friendly meter, which enhance every flavour, and pair meticulously with what you eat. What can I say to conclude? My experience was fantastic from start to finish. I highly recommend everyone to try this place and NOT listen to those who say you pay too much. No, you pay for the quality of what you eat, and for the raw materials which are of such a high level that cannot be found elsewhere. The price ranges are very wide and you can eat even for little if you want. I attach the photo of what I ate. (Unfortunately, there are no photos of the wine and cheeses which didn't even have time to arrive at the table and were immediately devoured)
