30/03/2025: I was with a friend at the end of March, the food was excellent quality but unfortunately the service was truly unspeakable, leaving dishes on the fly at the table is no go, I would like to point out that for wine you have to order a bottle from the menu, it doesn't say "glass", 2 of us ordered a bottle, but coming from far away and having to drive, we drank 1 glass each, when it was time to pay we asked if they could re-cork it so we could take it home, since we had paid for the entire bottle, the owner corked it for us and asked us if we had a bag to take it home because he didn't have one, but we had seen him take some to some customers, you don't behave like that, all customers are the same, he was annoyed because we were taking away the wine that we had regularly paid for and not drunk, dear owner, maybe it's better that you change jobs, the customer makes sure your restaurant goes forward, think carefully next time, even if there won't be a next time.

23/06/2025: The pizza was good, but the Vegetariana had very few vegetables. If you want a decent pizza, you'll have to bring your own vegetables and put them on the ordered pizza because the one served is very sparse. An extra €6 was added to the bill for eating a pizza that cost €10. This is unacceptable. It made me angry and disappointed. This is simply ripping off and robbing tourists. The waitress said it was the cost of using the plates, glass, and table. Unbelievable. The cost of using the table? Maybe breathing in your restaurant also costs an extra €5 per person? I've lived for 50 years and this is the first time I've ever seen such a case of gouging. The owner of this place must be very greedy and avaricious for money. I also ordered an espresso with the pizza. I didn't ask for the price, thinking an espresso would cost between €0.7 and €1... but it was 150% more expensive. Thieves. At a beach bar, an espresso costs €1.2, and beach bars usually have the highest prices. So, their espresso coffee is 100-150% more expensive than elsewhere. It's a good thing I didn't ask for tap water—there might have been another charge on the bill for using the bottle and glasses. I strongly advise against visiting these thieves.

08/06/2025: I've been going for several years, nice and always pleasant place. On the off-menu items the prices are very high (paella for example), the pizza in 2024 was better than 2025. Anyway, a place suitable for children too

02/06/2025: Spartan environment like this for a lifetime, if you have nowhere to go here you can eat and have an after dinner. The pizza is good, the cod appetizer, the soup wasn't great. However, they put in the effort. I didn't understand the price difference between the Napoli and the Oreste which costs 2 euros more and the difference is in the presence of Taggiasca olives.

25/06/2025: Last night we had dinner at this restaurant. Immersed in the colors of the sunset we met very kind staff, who informed us in great detail about the dishes that aroused our interest. The food was of excellent quality as was the service. We will definitely be back.

02/06/2025: Welcoming, apparently Spartan menu with the surprise of something different. We tasted very good wild boar takos, good cod, and good wild boar croquettes I didn't like the sauce. Good white wine with a chilled glass the effort in doing things well is there. The caramel cheesecake was very good, also good the tiramisu. With sparkling water we spent 75 euros. A bit disorganized in the table service I often saw them lost looking for the table number. If you don't have anything better it doesn't disappoint.

25/08/2024: I had dinner at this restaurant where I had already been. Big disappointment, the tuna ordered was inedible. I sent it back to the kitchen and it was taken off my bill. When offering a catering service, you should be more careful and if a product is no longer good, don't serve it.

27/02/2025: Sono stato in questo posto consigliato da amici e devo dire che L unica cosa che mi è piaciuta la zuppa dell armatore che era veramente speciale. Per il resto prezzi non proprio da osteria, Fritto non croccante pieno di verdura. E poi ci hanno messi a sedere davanti la porta dove il cameriere passava continuamente senza mai richiuderla, il giorno dopo avevo il collo bloccato. Servizio piuttosto lento.

01/12/2024: Trovi sempre posto (in estate anche tavoli esterni) e le pietanze dalla pizza ai primi carne o pesce soddisfano i vai palati. Ottima alternativa in centro a castiglione
