29/11/2025: At this pizzeria and restaurant, just steps from the Terontola train station, I've often ordered Margherita pizzas for takeout on Sunday lunch.
The place has a family feel, very simple and tidy.
My review is therefore limited to the quality of the takeout pizza—thin and crispy—which I think is good, and the service, which is always very quick and courteous, with advance phone calls.
Good value.
Parking is available nearby.

18/10/2025: A simple charcuterie plate and a glass of Chianti - a lovely afternoon treat! There were six types of cured meats and two local cheeses on the small platter. The woman helping spoke some English and was very nice and accommodating. All in all a great, low key experience!
27/09/2025: A pleasant surprise!! Quality cured meats and cheeses?! Normal prices. We ordered a large cured meats and cheese platter, costing 18 euros. Really good. Worth it!! Fresh bread!!

06/12/2025: Terrible. We ordered: bruschetta, good, focaccia, good, and ribollita. The waitress came over, took the dishes from the shelf behind us, microwaved them for 5 minutes, and voilà. Disgraceful. Change your job.

03/04/2026: Horrible bar, poor service. Dirty and dark. Products are double the price of the same ones in Camucia (who knows why, maybe because I'm a foreigner despite having lived in Italy for over 15 years). I'll never go back, not recommended!
24/10/2025: Welcoming place with very polite staff... always a smile for the customer... and extremely clean... excellent breakfasts and lunches... the food is top notch and the food is delicious at affordable prices for everyone!!! Bistro 51 is a guarantee!!!

25/03/2026: Don't book this hotel. The people are unhelpful and greedy.I am furious.
I did make a mistake that the booking calendar jumped forward one month so I booked Sunday 15th March when I intended to book Sunday 15th February.
I contacted them as soon as they opened.
But they would not simply change the date of the booking.
I spent hours with my booking agent, who just kept saying that the hotel was sticking to the terms and conditions that my booking could not be changed.
25/11/2025: The location is adjacent to the highway, yet nestled in a quiet setting. It's also very close to the town of Cortona, making it an excellent choice for logistics. Excellent for a one-night stopover. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly.
The rooms are a bit dated and in need of renovation. The windowless bathroom had no ventilation. If we had chosen this hotel for a few days, it would have left us a bit skeptical.

31/03/2026: If you find yourself in Cortona, I highly recommend Bar 500. The place has a homely, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. The wine is amazing, and the atmosphere is even better , made all the more special by the great company you’ll find there.
The owners are incredibly helpful and speak English, which makes everything easy if you’re travelling. It’s the perfect spot to relax, have a conversation, and feel at home especially if you’re coming from the land down under like I am.
23/03/2026: High prices, but poor quality and truly meager portions. Luckily, we managed to escape after a relatively brief shared lunchtime experience. We paid dinner price for a few slices of toast with scant toppings that tasted like they came straight from a cafeteria.

29/03/2026: We came across this restaurant while out one evening in Cortona and decided to give it a try without checking reviews.
From the moment our group walked in—well over an hour before closing—we were made to feel like a burden. Two other couples in our section mentioned they had similar experiences. While we were seated, the server rudely waved off MULTIPLE couples wanting to have a drink or bite to eat with well over 30 mins till closing as well.
The service was extremely rude. Our server repeatedly told us to “hurry up” while ordering, slammed menus on the table, and tossed napkins down without any care.
When it came time to pay, he gave us attitude for trying to pay by card for a group of six. There were no signs indicating cash-only, which forced us to scramble together enough euros to cover the bill.
This was completely out of character compared to the rest of our experience in Cortona, where everyone else was welcoming and friendly.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it—both the pizza and pasta were underwhelming and comparable to low-quality chain pizza.
If you read the reviews, believe them. It’s a shame, because this place stays open later than most in Cortona.

06/05/2025: Mi marido y yo estábamos tratando de encontrar un restaurante local (no turístico) fuera de la plaza principal y nos topamos con este. Paola y Franco eran una delicia. Paola era muy cálido, amable y muy servicial. Teníamos los ravioles, seguido de un filete de 1 kg que estaba perfectamente cocinado y delicioso verdura. Luego nos regalaron biscotti (obviamente Paola se hizo) con un vino de postre.
Exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Sin duda volveremos.

23/06/2025: Abbiamo pranzato nel locale e siamo stati bene.
Le stanze sono meravigliose e ampie con un ristrutturazione fatta molto bene.
Una piccola e deliziosa piscina in un bel prato,tutto curato nei minimi dettagli.
Personale molto disponibile ed appassionato.
Grazie, abbiamo trascorso un bel fine settimana

22/05/2025: Mi marido y su familia han venido a cenar a Agrisalotto durante muchos años y siempre han tenido no solo una gran experiencia culinaria, sino que también siempre han sido tratados con verdadera generosidad y verdadera hospitalidad italiana.
Simonetta y su equipo llevaron todo esto al siguiente nivel cuando organizamos nuestra boda con ellos. Desde el primer momento en que le mencionamos la idea, estaba emocionada, dispuesta y complacida de hacerlo realidad. Ella respondió a mis interminables preguntas de WhatsApp con entusiasmo y apoyo durante todo un año antes del gran día. Realmente fueron más allá para hacerlo mágico.
Algunos de nuestros amigos se alojaron en el lugar para nuestro fin de semana de bodas y todos estaban encantados con sus apartamentos y la generosa hospitalidad que se mostró durante todo su tiempo.
En el gran día, la comida era increíble y sin fin, los jardines estaban impecablemente ajardinados, y el personal era tan amable y preocupado por conseguir todo lo que queríamos sin imponerse nunca. Todos los pequeños detalles con los que había soñado fueron fácilmente resueltos y puedo decir con la mano en el corazón que hicieron nuestra boda mejor de lo que esperábamos.
Continuaremos visitando Agrisalotto durante muchos años, para recordar, para disfrutar de su maravillosa comida y relajarse en este idílico santuario toscano!
