30/10/2025: Very nice location, both inside and out. Simple food, lots of schiacciate options, and they're really, really good. There aren't many hot and cold options, but what's available is simple and good. Definitely a place to keep in mind. Prices are average.

12/10/2025: This place is run by young, enthusiastic people, offers excellent wine, fabulous platters, and is located right in the heart of Florence, perfect for spending memorable days outdoors.

11/10/2025: We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant on Google, and it was definitely worth it. The service was exceptional. I ordered the Papardelle a la Ragu! Wonderful.

28/06/2025: It was a lifesaver when we were looking for somewhere to eat with the kids at lunch. The ambiance... well, :D... But the food was incredibly delicious. Despite a language barrier, the owner tried very hard to explain the daily menu to us! Another good sign was that the restaurant gradually filled up with locals. It's air-conditioned inside, but there are also outdoor seating areas.

Dopo aver pagato ci hanno regalato il pane fatto da loro e dei dolcetti vegani. È stato tutto molto bello ci torneremo

18/06/2025: Posto incantevole fuori dalle rotte turistiche. Mi aveva incuriosito passandoci davanti in bici anni fa, ma ripassando ora ho deciso di venirci a mangiare. Si sente che è tutto fatto in casa, con il cuore. Una bellissima esperienza, grazie.

07/09/2025: We sit at the table, and there aren't many people. The wait is long and the food is poor. Furthermore, they offer us a fish sampler, of equally poor quality, so much so that at this point one of us leaves. It wasn't worth the quantity or quality, even though they said fish was their specialty. By paying and asking for a receipt, Franco was being a bit crafty and, by adding a fifty, he wanted to secure a nice haul. This behavior is outrageous. I don't want to insult anyone, I don't dare, but eating that fish was scandalous.

23/11/2025: We entered this newly opened restaurant. As soon as we climbed the stairs, we were greeted by a stuffy, food-filled smell. It didn't inspire me, but we didn't have much choice because we had little time to eat. We sat down, and the small room was cold, and the split-level oven took a while to heat up. We ordered a platter and two crostoni, which were good, no complaints. The only surprise that kept me from giving it more than two stars was the bathroom. We were the first customers, and the bathroom was dirty. The toilet was stained with feces, and there was no way to dry our hands because the hand dryer didn't work and there was no paper. The quality of a public establishment is determined first and foremost by the restrooms, which must be clean and functional for customers.

31/08/2025: A negative experience to say the least. The place was very nice, but it was incredible that, on an already sparse menu, most of the dishes we chose were no longer available. The appetizers were decent, but the entrees were tragic. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was actually tagliatelle, overcooked, and served with stew rather than ragù; tagliolini with truffle, with the most flavorless truffle I've ever eaten. Slow service, dishes brought in batches; an experience not to be repeated.

30/08/2025: An osteria that aims to combine Maremma cuisine with Argentario seafood. It doesn't succeed in either. The charcuterie board is unremarkable; good but not refined. The sliced ​​steak was tough and flavorless, despite being rare. The grilled calamari...to be forgotten; it's obviously a frozen product served as if it were fresh. A real shame, because the service was good and all the ingredients for a good osteria were there...

14/11/2025: The food was really very good but really, I ate with my 2 little girls who are fussy eaters and the eldest 10 year old even went crazy for the cacio/pepe pasta (and that's already a lot if she eats plain pasta 😅), really compliments to the chef

27/07/2025: Esperienza decisamente negativa: siamo arrivati in 6 per bere qualcosa, il caffè shakerato non arrivava e quando glielo abbiamo fatto notare ci hanno risposto che potevamo andare in un altro bar. Maleducati è l’unico aggettivo che mi viene in mente. Preciso che solitamente non faccio recensioni o le faccio quando ho trascorso un’esperienza positiva ma oggi non potevo evitarlo.

21/07/2025: Cena sublime. Stasera a cena abbiamo deciso di tornare per la seconda volta di fila in questo ristorante.Tavolo vista mare. Personale molto carino, educato e rapido.. il proprietario… una persona squisita. Abbiamo mangiato spaghetti alle vongole e del tonno alla griglia super fresco. Prezzi ottimi , ma cibo ancor di più . Sicuramente prossima volta a Cavo sarà la nostra prima scelta. Grazie Massimo ci vediamo a Settembre.

18/07/2025: Torno a Castiglione ogni estate da anni e posso dire di aver provato ormai moltissimi ristoranti, spesso deludenti. Questa gastronomia a due passi dalla spiaggia resta invece la sola e unica certezza, una conferma che si rinnova ogni anno. Piatti eccezionali, cucinati a regola d’arte, soprattutto il risotto di mare e i tortelli maremmani, davvero strepitosi! La location vi riporterà indietro nel tempo, con i suoi tavolini bianchi all’esterno, la fontanella per sciacquare via la sabbia della giornata passata al mare, la finestra della gastronomia dalla quale si affacciano i gestori per chiamarvi quando il vostro piatto è pronto, e gli immancabili girasoli su uno dei tavolini, simbolo della bellezza del paesaggio della Maremma. I sapori autentici delle pietanze vi riporteranno poi alla migliore cucina casalinga, quella fatta con passione, quella del cuore.

24/06/2025: Se cercate un posto dove mangiare bene senza spendere una fortuna e con il sorriso sempre a portata di mano, avete trovato il paradiso! Questa rosticceria/trattoria è una vera chicca. I proprietari sono di una gentilezza e simpatia disarmanti, ti fanno sentire subito a casa, come in famiglia! E parlando di cibo, la qualità è stellare e i prezzi sono semplicemente imbattibili. Ma il vero capolavoro, la cosa che mi ha rubato il cuore (e lo stomaco!), è la frittura di pesce. Dimenticate le fritture mollicce e unte: qui è una nuvola dorata, croccantissima e asciutta al punto giusto. Ogni boccone è una festa! Non vedo l'ora di tornarci per assaggiare tutte le altre delizie. Cinque stelle meritatissime!
