08/06/2025: The bread with olive oil had the consistency of a brick. During preparation, the yeast was mistaken for cement. The bread was so hard that even a jackhammer couldn't break it apart.

26/07/2025: Among the best and most honest pizzas in Lucca. This isn't a gourmet pizzeria, so you'll find excellent pizza at a reasonable price and quality ingredients. Of course, on peak days, there may be a few extra minutes of waiting and some misunderstandings, but it's no different than other places.

14/07/2025: I've been to this restaurant twice. The place is spacious and even has an outdoor area for kids to play in (a plus). The pizza is very good. There's also karaoke on weekends, but we noticed that the man in charge doesn't seem to be crazy about kids 😂, so maybe we're wrong. Anyway, I recommend it.

29/06/2025: We ate very well (appetizer and pizza round) and a lot (pane cunzato EXCELLENT) and drank a lot too The children ate a lot and had a lot of fun (games in the fenced outdoor space = relaxation for the parents). Huge groups plus à la carte tables ZERO HITCHES NICE STAFF AVAILABLE AND ALWAYS WITH A SMILE!!! Despite the thousands of requests from mothers for the children and despite the children practically eating à la carte. And a vegetarian (my wife). And a wedding Applause indeed!! 11/03/2025: Fairly cheap prices but unfortunately I had a negative experience. The Aperol spritz was very tasteless and was not accompanied by the typical pretzels as per Italian tradition, our request was ignored multiple times.

14/06/2025: I change my previous review positively. I find everything I'm looking for in the bakery. Hot breakfast pastries in the morning, soft, fragrant and full of seasoning. The savory ones are also excellent for a snack or a snack. Friendly and kind staff. Highly recommended bakery.

03/06/2025: The kind shopkeeper lady was a truly lovely person who made our first vacation in Italy unforgettable. Despite the language barrier, she went out of her way to help us with genuine warmth and kindness. As a sweet gesture, she even offered us a few cookies to make us feel welcome. Her hospitality set a beautiful tone for our entire trip, and we're deeply grateful for the encounter.

18/07/2025: Torno a Castiglione ogni estate da anni e posso dire di aver provato ormai moltissimi ristoranti, spesso deludenti. Questa gastronomia a due passi dalla spiaggia resta invece la sola e unica certezza, una conferma che si rinnova ogni anno. Piatti eccezionali, cucinati a regola d’arte, soprattutto il risotto di mare e i tortelli maremmani, davvero strepitosi! La location vi riporterà indietro nel tempo, con i suoi tavolini bianchi all’esterno, la fontanella per sciacquare via la sabbia della giornata passata al mare, la finestra della gastronomia dalla quale si affacciano i gestori per chiamarvi quando il vostro piatto è pronto, e gli immancabili girasoli su uno dei tavolini, simbolo della bellezza del paesaggio della Maremma. I sapori autentici delle pietanze vi riporteranno poi alla migliore cucina casalinga, quella fatta con passione, quella del cuore.

24/06/2025: Se cercate un posto dove mangiare bene senza spendere una fortuna e con il sorriso sempre a portata di mano, avete trovato il paradiso! Questa rosticceria/trattoria è una vera chicca. I proprietari sono di una gentilezza e simpatia disarmanti, ti fanno sentire subito a casa, come in famiglia! E parlando di cibo, la qualità è stellare e i prezzi sono semplicemente imbattibili. Ma il vero capolavoro, la cosa che mi ha rubato il cuore (e lo stomaco!), è la frittura di pesce. Dimenticate le fritture mollicce e unte: qui è una nuvola dorata, croccantissima e asciutta al punto giusto. Ogni boccone è una festa! Non vedo l'ora di tornarci per assaggiare tutte le altre delizie. Cinque stelle meritatissime!

03/07/2025: A very cozy restaurant with a typically Italian ambiance and flair. The menu is very concise and has something for almost every taste. The portions are sufficient for a typical Italian 3- to 4-course meal. The only thing I can't recommend at all is the Milanese steak. This dish is 100% store-bought and tastes like nothing. All the other dishes we ate were "handmade and made with love"!!! Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended!

30/06/2025: Great discoveries during our stay in Livorno! The pizzas are delicious and we tried the cinque à cinque as well as the torta from Ceci! A pure delight! Not forgetting the spuma 🙂

26/06/2025: The owner who took my order and served me made me pay the price of a large pizza for a small one. All because I'm a foreigner. She took advantage of the situation to charge me for the large size instead of the small. I find that unacceptable. On top of that, the pizza was quite poor in quality. Not terrible, but definitely not good either. Run away if you're not italian

18/05/2025: Coming back from an intense trail on Cimone, amidst the clouds and cold wind, I decided to have a quick and easy coffee at the refuge. A very pleasant chat with who I think is one of the owners started. Good coffee but let's leave that aside, here what counts is the experience, which was positive. I saw happiness and sunshine despite the adverse weather. I visit that area very often but I had never treated myself to a coffee here. From now on it will be a ritual I cannot do without. I returned to the valley happy! Thank you very much!

01/08/2025: We went for the first time and were a bit disappointed by the staff's lack of helpfulness, which seemed a bit arrogant when it came to our requests: they were unfriendly and very distant with the Italian customers, unlike the foreigners, with whom they treated us with smiles worthy of a tip... What struck us was the attitude of conniving connivance among the three waiters, which we noted several times...

01/08/2025: Ok... If you order a pizza with anchovies you expect more than 4 small once (see picture - and if you can't find them, then that is my point). It should be at least 12.
