22/11/2025: Discovered by chance, this pizzeria turned out to be truly excellent. We were a group of five and were treated to a high-quality pizza round, made with seasonal ingredients. The service was impeccable: the waiters were kind and friendly, and the owner was very knowledgeable and equally professional. Highly recommended. Greetings from the kids "let's meet to eat tortellini."

09/11/2025: Very welcoming place and excellent service. The pizza was delicious, and they brought my daughter a lemon veal cutlet, which was truly delicious and top-notch. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch. We're from Varese and will definitely be back when we return. It'll definitely be a regular stop. The homemade Somarino pizza is a must-try. The only downside was the rude people in the dining room who ruined the evening a bit. Other than that, we'll definitely be back.

11/11/2025: On Saturday, November 8, 2025, my wife and I went to see the famous Abbey of San Galgano in the province of Lucca. After having made the ritual visit, we went to this unique farmhouse a few steps from the Abbey. I spoke to a lady who I assume was the owner who also managed the cash register. I approached her and told her that there were 2 of us. She replied that I had to wait 10/15 minutes, then came back after about 15 minutes and looked at me with a confused expression. She said, "Okay, a place is free." They gave us a menu. 20 minutes passed and no waitress came over. SHAMEFUL!!! My wife gestures that we would like to order almost as if we were begging as if we were eating for free. However, we were interested in the veal steak and politely ask for a portion to share between two, but the waitress says no because they are single portions of 5/6 ounces, so we necessarily order two 5/6 ounce steaks, something an army could have eaten. Here they are, people attached to money, SHAMEFUL. We get to the bill and this time too, another odyssey. More than 10 minutes pass from when I approached the cash register, then I lean out and see the owner who was also managing the cash register, talking happily despite a waitress having approached her, telling her that there was a customer who had to pay, but she totally doesn't care. Anyway, BAD EXPERIENCE, NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! BETTER A SANDWICH THAN GOING TO IN WUEDTA TRATTORIA, RUN BY RUDE AND MONEY-FREE PEOPLE.

05/10/2025: Returning after years, we found the same quality. High-quality ingredients, such as the excellent meat, and seasonal products like the delicious porcini mushrooms. Excellent value. The rustic and welcoming atmosphere of a typical Tuscan trattoria. We'll be back for the pizza, because there are few places where it's still cooked in a wood-fired oven!

18/09/2025: A very pleasant surprise. Excellent restaurant, competent and friendly service! Just a few minutes from the Camaldoli Monastery. It's not very noticeable from the road, but after climbing a few hundred meters, a large parking lot opens up and the restaurant is completely surrounded by greenery (several walking trails also begin here). The Pappardelle alla Cacciagione (game-filled pappardelle) are a must-try...sublime!!

19/10/2025: Typical Sunday family lunch. Fantastic location just a few kilometers from the city. Nestled in the countryside. Ample on-site parking (not covered). Outdoor dining is also available in the summer. Very rustic interior. Friendly and welcoming staff. Seafood and meat dishes are served. Generous portions! Perfect for lunch or dinner alone, as a couple, or with family.

07/10/2025: The restaurant actually deserves more than one star. But the average is far too high! The waitress speaks several languages. Tables are covered by the time you're seated. Pretty empty. Unfortunately, there's not a large selection to order from. The menu is quite short. The wine list is larger than the menu. The food isn't very tasty either. It would be more like serving it in a retirement home; everything was soggy and soft. The gnocchi were served with a lake of oil, which wasn't very pleasant either. The waitress brings food and clears away while others are still eating. Quite expensive, too, for an Italian restaurant.

10/10/2025: I would definitely come back if the communication was a bit better we ordered a starter for two thinking that it would cost us 28€ all together but after receiving the bill we felt a bit confused and unfortunately disappointed because of a language barrier. The wine is wonderful but the starter that we ordered was underwhelming and seemed a bit pricey for what we had initially expected. Overall service was wonderful but please check twice before ordering because we felt confused.

06/10/2025: This osteria is amazing! Amazing food (including tartare de Manzano, pizza, etc.) and a huge, fantastic wine selection at reasonable prices. The service was fantastic, with Giuseppe being a very friendly and, above all, knowledgeable wine connoisseur. We'll be back... Best, Ines & Tom

02/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and had a wonderful meal! The waiters were quick and helpful, and the food was quality. The outside area is stunning, too. I'll be back in the summer.

26/10/2025: If you're looking for a place with a modern design but a retro feel, I recommend Piccolo Borgo. Delicate dishes like tagliolini with truffles and the tasty sliced ​​heifer steak are part of a menu that may not be sophisticated, but is certainly enjoyable. The desserts and wine selection are truly appreciated by customers. And speaking of pampering, the service will make you feel like you're at grandma's house, not to mention the bill, which is moderate to low for everything the experience offers. Special mention for the "Chianti tuna," truly exceptional. As far as I'm concerned, they've gained a new customer, and I'll definitely be back.

26/09/2025: This is where I experienced Tuscan cuisine. Every dish was prepared to order. I don't speak Italian and had some communication issues, but I managed to communicate well with the staff and enjoyed the food. The other dishes were very good, but the lamb skewers were disappointing.

21/09/2025: We shared; SALT AND PEPPER TASTING, TRIO OF TARTARE, HEIFER FILLET WITH MUSHROOMS. Everything was delicious, the outdoor patio has a great atmosphere and a peak a view of the stunning sunset

03/10/2025: Perfect service, friendliness and cordiality

01/10/2025: Two of us arrived without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available. The wait was two people, one very friendly, the other less so. The drinks came quickly, and we waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer. The pizza didn't arrive until about 90 minutes after the appetizer, which we really didn't expect, and our hunger grew accordingly. The pizza unfortunately had a bit too much cheese, but overall it was okay. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long, especially since the tables next door got their food much earlier.

09/11/2025: We stopped here to break up a long journey to Calabria—a perfect choice! An excellent family-run trattoria, where kindness and courtesy permeate a rustic setting with delicious cuisine. A perfect mix where food reigns supreme. The tripe and game are hands-down winners! Excellent value for money! If you're passing through, it's a must-stop!

02/11/2025: I ordered the grilled chicken and it was so damn delicious! I didn’t even get the chance to take a photo — that’s how hungry (and impressed) I was. Every bite was packed with flavor. The ambiance is calm and cozy; it made me feel like a local just relaxing after a long journey. Definitely a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a good meal.

24/10/2025: I recently had lunch at this beautiful stone restaurant in Pratomagno. I was truly amazed by the skill of a very young brunette waitress. She's so efficient and kind, I haven't found her like that even in the Michelin-starred restaurants I've been to (REALLY GOOD!). I can't say the same about the person behind the counter; he almost seems annoyed when asked for things. I can't say the food was average, but I can't say I've eaten delicious food that I'd always return for, given the price. The place was beautiful, but I was incredibly cold, the fireplace was almost out, and people were eating without taking off their jackets, as I and my companions had to do (perhaps out of fear of running out of firewood for the winter...).

19/10/2025: After a walk in the woods, we stopped for lunch and were disappointed with the grilled meat and fried vegetables. You can't serve a grilled meat with a sausage, a piece of chicken, a rosticiana bone, and a steak bone, and for a fried vegetable with sage, onion, pumpkin, a piece of polenta, and two chips, paying €15 for a grilled meat and €5 for mixed fried vegetables is fine, but I'd like at least the food on the plate. The prices are reasonable, and I understand the place isn't easily accessible for supplies; it's reasonable to pay a little more. The tagliatelle with wild boar were good and plentiful, but everything else needs updating. It's a shame because something like this had never happened to me years ago. The staff were super friendly, and the place was always welcoming. I hope something can change, especially since this has happened to other people who came to eat here.

04/10/2025: Not the best burger I've ever had, but it was really good. The fries were amazing, and the chicken nuggets were delicious. I'll definitely come back.

21/09/2025: Passing through Marina di Campo around lunchtime, we tried this place. The outdoor table was a bit cramped, not very comfortable; four of us were cramped. The food was good: two stuffed focaccias and two large salads, truly tasty and filling. The bathroom was clean, though not for everyone. Prices were average, considering the touristy location.

11/10/2025: Very nice restaurant in a beautiful setting. Great food, service and music. We had 3 dishes - Bottoni with Orange Duck, Gnudi with Ricotta and Spinach in sage and Truffle Sauce and Gnocchi in tomato and Basil Sauce and Ricotta - all yummy!!!! The only downside is the location, as it’s a rather long walk from the free parking lot outside the Centro Storico and back. If you plan on visiting the Centro Storico anyway (which you should, as it’s beautiful), do yourselves a favor and don’t skip this restaurant!
