10/07/2025: A culinary masterpiece in Prato: Even 6 stars wouldn't be enough! What an evening! What we experienced at this restaurant in Prato was simply fantastic and deserves far more than just five stars. It was a feast for the senses, from the warm welcome to the last, unforgettable bite. As soon as we entered, we were greeted personally by the chef, which immediately gave the evening a very personal touch. The service was excellent, attentive, and always unobtrusive throughout the evening. Another highlight was the personalized advice from the chef herself on the dishes on the daily menu – an appreciation rarely experienced and which gave us deep insights into the philosophy and passion behind the creations. A wine journey of the highest order The wine recommendation was simply amazing! I've never tasted a better Vermentino – this white wine was a revelation and paired perfectly with our appetizers. The recommendation for the main course, a local Feronio, was so fitting that we spontaneously decided to change our itinerary to visit the wine-growing region. The fact that the chef even put us in touch with the winemaker demonstrates the exceptional hospitality and desire to offer guests a completely perfect experience. Culinary delights you'll never forget The dishes themselves were of a quality rarely found. For our starter, we chose the "Nel blu dipinto di blu" – a variation of three fishes that, eaten in the recommended order, were an absolute delight. The subtle nuances and freshness of the ingredients were simply impressive. The pickled anchovies with cucumber and celery were also a delight, sending the taste buds on a wonderful journey. The primi piatti continued this delight: the stuffed shrimp ravioli with pesto Genovese and zucchini blossoms were a dream. Perfectly balanced in size and filling, they were the best homemade ravioli I've ever eaten – a true homage to Italian culinary art. The spaghetti with butter and anchovies was also a highlight. Perfectly cooked "al dente," the anchovy sauce melted into a homogenous culinary delight that melted in the mouth. But the highlight was the secondi piatti: a duck breast with glazed carrots and three sauces. The duck breast was crispy and cooked to perfection, while the three sauces formed a creamy blend of individual components, the likes of which I've never experienced before. Each component was a small work of art in its own right, and together they created a harmony that was simply captivating. All in all, it was an incredibly fine, delicious, and wonderful evening. The entire team, with passion and dedication, created an experience that went far beyond an ordinary restaurant visit. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience and the wonderful conversations! We will never forget this evening in Prato and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

15/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo posto, ambiente molto semplice con tovaglie di carta, un solo bicchiere e acqua minerale in bottiglia di plastica. Nella norma per una semplice trattoria. Cibo buono e ben cucinato ma niente di particolarmente eccezionale. Il tutto sarebbe anche stato positivo se il conto fosse stato in linea con tutto l'insieme. Invece conto decisamente troppo alto. Non ci tornerei.

03/07/2025: Ordered delivery for pizzas and beers. Pizza arrived hot and beers arrived cold. Pizza was very tasting with ample toppings and was much better than most delivery pizza.

The place is a paradise surrounded by greenery, an enviable location, the dishes that were offered to us are a delight for the palate and the staff is attentive and very friendly and nice. It was a beautiful experience to repeat and recommend. Thanks to all of you.

15/06/2025: A special agriturismo: Breakfast and dinner are 100% organic, Demeter. A Michelin-starred chef cooks here to a high standard. The breakfast buffet is very varied, and dinner is available either as a set menu or à la carte, for around €40. (After a week at the latest, you'll have gotten to know all the dishes.) A non-alcoholic aperitif is available upon request. The service is very attentive and friendly. The Michelin-starred chef is also very welcoming and welcoming to her guests (she speaks German). Our room had air conditioning and was attractively furnished with a separate bedroom. The natural swimming pool with sunbathing lawn is a lovely place to relax. There is also a very well-stocked organic shop on the farm, where you can also enjoy a snack inside or outside. The espresso in the restaurant doesn't really match my experience with espressos at other places in Italy. Pisa is not far away, and the sea is about a 40-minute drive away. An all-around pleasant and quiet place.

28/02/2025: Ho cenato due sere e due pranzi durante riunione di lavoro. Bello l'ambiente, servizio un po' lento. Il menù non ho potuto sceglierlo ne vederlo perché prefissato da azienda. Tutto molto buono con porzioni giuste, a partire dagli antipasti ( uovo cbt e tagliolini di seppie) così come i primi (risotto zafferano, tortelli con ragù di carne e penne con le verdure) ed i secondi (hamburger di stinco, e due filetti di diversi tipi di carne). Superlativi i dolci ( mouse di nocciola, mouse di pistacchio e tortino al cioccolato tutti guarniti con salse di frutti bosco e cioccolato fuso). Essendo andata per lavoro non ho idea dei costi ma tutto molto buono e ben presentato

05/07/2025: Apericena with 35 people, the place is big, air conditioned, the food is plentiful and the service is very welcoming. The only flaw is a first course that is a bit raw, only for that I didn't give it my all, but I recommend it.

25/05/2025: Non è che c'è tanto da dire: 1) carne di ottima qualità cucinata come si deve; 2) porzioni abbondanti; 3) clima accogliente; 4) servizio puntuale e gentile; 5) prezzi nella norma. Uno dei pochi ristoranti piombinesi dove ancora entri affamato ed esci felice. Consigliato!

02/05/2025: Sono stato all'antica porta per una pizza il fine settimana. Il locale è molto gettonato, bisogna prenotare per tempo e sicuramente non è un posto intimo con atmosfera rilassante, anzi, molto vivace e frequentato da giovani in preserata. Il menù è semplice, le pizze vengono fatte anche con farine differenti e hanno un buon sapore. Non sono pizze veraci stile napoletano, che prediligo, tuttavia mi hanno piacevolmente stupito. Conto più basso rispetto alla media fiorentina.

20/04/2025: Dificilmente faço avaliações porque há sempre muita injustiça e neste caso parece-me claro. O restaurante além dos excelentes cuidados na preparação e confecção, tem nuita qualidade nos produtos e no atendimento, sentimo-nos em casa como se fossemos clientes habituais. Tratamento familiar, restaurante com muitos nativos, longe da confusão do turismo, vale muito a pena! A Ornela simplesmente enche a casa, é Encantador o forma simples com que facilita tudo, muitos parabéns!

Street gourmet with a devastating selection of raw materials and decidedly generous dishes + strategic position with a pine forest and the sea just a stone's throw away (the "Gola" sandwich is in the top 3 of my life). At Marco you can enjoy yourself and it's always a pleasure to chat. Absolute King

03/06/2025: Four of us went to dinner, and we ordered a Tuscan white wine. We each chose a main course and an appetizer to share. Everything was delicious. 100% recommended.

04/07/2025: Very nice location, characteristic with candlelit tables. Traditional dishes made with good raw materials. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles are good, the Florentine steak instead cooked medium rare, which you can however make well done by leaving it on the stone. Excellent quality, certainly the lowest price compared to where it is located, that is immediately after Ponte Vecchio. Very courteous owner, attentive service, fast and professional. Good quality/price ratio.

01/07/2025: Despite the fact that the place looks very nice and attracts with prices lower than in the places around - the food there is disgusting. I am not a picky person, but after a lot of good places with great food that Florence spoiled us with - this is the most tasteless place. Pasta tastes like from a pack from the nearest store and a handful of defrosted seafood - 3 mussels and 1 mini shrimp on a large plate. This is not the approach of a restaurant in the city center. We were disappointed and left hungry.

03/07/2025: We have been coming on holiday to the beautiful Maremma for years now and as a result we are often guests of the Frantoio! A historic place, where time seems to stand still!! 04/05/2025: Found it by chance: a beautiful place, lovely service and very good food that day (pheasant, wildach wine ragout, tripe). We only had antipasto and primo piatto (strozzapreti with wildach wine ragout, heavenly)

20/05/2025: We visited several restaurants in Greve. Unfortunately, we only visited Trattoria D'i Borgo at the end of our visit. All the dishes, including the desserts, were an absolute delight. Highly recommended. The quality brought tears to our eyes, and the staff were friendly and very charming. Thank you again.
