15/01/2025: We were recommended this restaurant - and we went along to celebrate a double birthday for me and my daughter. The staff are exceptional and the food is absolutely brilliant… many locally specific dishes. We would go again in a heartbeat. Just one slight thing… my chicken main course was a very tiny portion compared to others main dishes .. but sometimes less is more - it’s a philosophy I can embrace.

11/04/2025: Restaurant specializes in Livorno-style cacciucco but also other fried fish and paranza dishes. I went to eat the cacciucco and I just found satisfaction. The theater hardware is plentiful and I found it very good. Too bad the presence of a noisy customer with funny sounds

31/01/2025: The place seems small from the outside but once inside everything is very nice and welcoming, full of references to the school (even the menu). I took the cheese cake with pear and truffle cream, very soft and very good, followed by the chocolate ravioli filled with gorgonzola, which I liked but even though they were huge there were 2 of them, and finally for dessert an exquisite cocoa cake with berries woods. I also tasted the Orange Cappelli with white ragù, very particular but perhaps a more liquid sauce that could bind better with the pasta would be better. Average prices, kind service, bathroom that feels the weight of the years (the door doesn't lock well), but all in all a nice place where I will definitely bring friends and relatives

18/03/2025: Di passaggio a Gaiole entriamo per un pranzo veloce, subito accolti con un bel sorriso. Antipasto vegetariano molto buono e genuino, pici cacio e pepe strepitosi come la ribollita presentata in vaso cottura. Cantucci che mi hanno ricordato quelli della mamma, che dire una gran bella scoperta. Gentilezza e professionalità

10/02/2025: A very big plus, because it is (probably) the only restaurant open outside the season - we were there on the first weekend of February. 1. Pasta with tomato sauce is amazing (meatless version) 2. Tagliatelle al Ragu for children - a 10-year-old said it was tasty and a large portion 3. Ravioli - solid, but not spectacular 4. Olive oil is probably the best and most expressive (you can smell the olives and olive oil) we have ever tasted, and we have visited almost all the countries of the Mediterranean basin. 5. The service lady was very nice and helpful 6. Tables outside in the off-season, in sunny weather, add charm We recommend! #holesroad

30/03/2025: The hamburger/pizzeria is located on a main street and inside is welcoming, furnished in American style. The menu offers a lot of choice regarding both sandwiches and pizzas. We tried two pizzas, "the farmer's snack" and the "svinata", both really good, well cooked and tasty, accompanied by a portion of french fries. The staff is friendly and the prices are in line with those of the city. Absolutely recommended!

26/03/2025: Located on via Crispi, very close to piazza Sant'Agostino. American style place, very particular on an aesthetic level, with a spiral staircase (three floors of room) different from the others in the area. Very popular even during the week, both by adults and children. It is very suitable for birthdays etc because they make the upper floor available. Super attentive and very kind staff, they also explain the menu very well and offer sauces that are made by them (very good). As for the food, you can immediately notice the quality! From the bread used to the final dessert. Very good meat and with attention to the origin of the meat. We will definitely be happy to return!

30/03/2025: After a day of work, I decide to go to a restaurant near my accommodation. I find myself in front of this restaurant and, attracted by the information regarding the local cuisine, I decide to enter. I ordered a caciucchino with a side of vegetables and a glass of wine. Everything was delicious, the caciucchino was truly exceptional and the vegetables well cooked... The staff was really friendly and, at the end of the meal, I was even offered a small glass of their own liqueur. Definitely a place I will return to when I am in Livorno...

22/03/2025: Farmhouse appearance, but with the soul of a large hotel. Very nice environment, but the vibes are of a commercial place and driven by finance rather than by the desire to host. Many cheap and poorly looked after solutions; small things, which however make themselves felt: the double mattress which is actually two singles pushed together, the windowless bathroom with a faulty fan, the blocked shower siphon, poorly thought-out furnishings and the feeling of battery-built rooms. Nothing terrible, but not excellent either, similar goes for the food.

11/11/2024: By now I have had countless pizzas at this pizzeria! The pizzas have an excellent dough and a "touch" that stands out compared to the competition. And the price is definitely good, especially in relation to the quality.

02/11/2024: Pizza shaped like a pinsa. Really excellent, good dough and good filling, quality ingredients. The place is small, but the girl made us sit anyway, asking us to free up the table at certain times because those who had booked were arriving. Recommended place, the food is really good.
