Family-run: places like this are hard to find these days, just as it's rare to find such a good, well-topped, thin pizza that stays tasty until the end. Really friendly service and truly excellent prices. Well done!

Simple and welcoming place. Generous portions and quality food: generous cold cuts and cheese platter with quality local products, excellent and equally generous Angus steak. Friendly and courteous service. TOP quality/price ratio! RECOMMENDED!

They make delicious pizza, they have a little bit of everything, and they don't let these people with dogs into places where there's food and people eating, rightly so, I say. Dogs should stay home; learn to respect those who have normal hygiene standards. If you can't stand being separated from your pet even for an hour, stay home with your dog and even share a bowl with him.

We go often and are always satisfied. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and warm. The food is always good quality and plentiful. The appetizer of raw ham, stracchino cheese, and fried gnocco was for two people but split between four because it was still too much. Four plates of melted cheese, mushrooms, polenta, and soppressa...very good and plentiful. The homemade desserts are also good. Wine, water, and coffee are all reasonably priced. The only downside is the presence of children with uncivilized and rude parents.

We had dinner this evening for four of us with excellent pizzas, including the Cesco (pictured, without mozzarella, in my opinion). Very thin and delicious pizza. Excellent menu to suit all palates. The restaurant is mostly concentrated in a single room with a hut-shaped roof, hence the name, with a huge fireplace in the center, plus two outdoor verandas. The service staff is all female and friendly. The restaurant is also a restaurant.

25/12/2025: Delicious. I recommend it. Prices are much lower for a place like this compared to Poland. The tiramisu is delicious. The pizza is amazing. The lasagna is amazing. The beer is delicious. I recommend it.
25/12/2025: I had a wonderful time at Masò, a rustic and welcoming place in the center of Florence. Good food, fast service, and generous portions at fair prices. Experience with a little girl Even though it's not exactly a place for families with small children, the staff was super hospitable: they welcomed us kindly, making sure we had plenty of space and making us feel comfortable without any problems. A pleasant lunch, we'll definitely return.

01/04/2026: We ordered a Florentine steak, which was very good but smaller than a typical steak. The potatoes served as a side were frozen, good quality, but from an osteria like this, we expected something more home-style and fresh. We weren't told the weight of the meat; our mistake for not asking first, because the bill was quite steep, despite the smaller size, again. Nothing to complain about, however, about the service and the kindness of the owner, who was extremely welcoming and helpful.
27/03/2026: Chosen by chance given our short stay in Florence. As soon as we entered, Mr. Claudio greeted us with his Florentine accent, making us feel immediately at home. The place is small but very typical of the area. Highly recommended if you're looking for a simple place with Tuscan flavors. The platter of cheeses and cured meats was truly delicious, the tagliata was very tender, and the stew melted in your mouth. We wish Claudio much prosperity and say goodbye because as soon as we're in the area again, we'll be back to visit you. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Thank you so much.
