04/10/2025: Was turned away at the door shortly after restaurant had opened for dinner. No reason was given (would haved welcomed a reason or to be told why - but, rather, was just told "no"). The place was maybe 1/4 full. Edit: What I said was true. I was not told I needed a reservation and thats why we were turned away. The restaurant was no more than 25% filled. Completely understandable if you were expecting people to come later and they had just not showed up but the point here was just being told "no" nothing more, nothing less

21/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Villa Bacchus and couldn't be happier with our choice. From our first meeting, the staff proved professional, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The location is simply enchanting: the immaculately maintained garden created a magical atmosphere for the ceremony. The banquet was impeccable: refined dishes, fresh ingredients, and excellent service. Our guests gave us countless compliments, both on the quality of the food and the overall organization. 04/10/2025: We wait for a waiter to consider us for a table. I say hello and they pretend not to see us. I tried to stop the head waiter several times to ask for a table, but he avoided me, annoyed by the overwork. It was confusing, yes, but that's not how it's done. Pure rudeness.

04/10/2025: Delicious and easy to digest pizza at a fair price. The crust, although very rich, is not heavy at all (with a nice fig liqueur it goes down like a charm).

10/08/2025: ...Iris non è una dei gestori ma uno degli ottimi dolci che si possono gustare in questo bel locale con veranda sulla piazzetta che declina sulla spiaggia di Marina di Modica... Ottima colazione gustata sulla bella la veranda esterna.

05/09/2025: We had a reservation for dinner at 9:30. We arrived at that time and every table was taken. We waited half an hour to be served. They gave a table to people without a reservation before us, and at 10:30 they wanted four people to dine at a very small table. Furthermore, while we were waiting to be served, the treatment was extremely disrespectful. The worst restaurant in all of Sicily.

24/09/2025: We got lost in the streets of Modica and stumbled upon this little hidden restaurant. The owner alone...is worth it!!! A true character 😁Then come the dishes. What can I say... Simplicity creates perfection. Congratulations!

25/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Enoteca Rappa, up on the heights of Modica (if you’re walking from the center, make sure to wear good shoes, there are plenty of stairs!). Even though there wasn’t much space on the terrace, the staff kindly set up extra tables across the street so we could enjoy the warm September evening. The large mixed platter was excellent and a good value for money, that we accompanied with a Negroni, only 7€, unbeatable! Afterwards, we enjoyed a great selection of Sicilian and Italian wines that truly delighted us. A perfect spot to spend an authentic evening just outside the center of Modica.
