29/05/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for over 10 years now, and it's never disappointed. The food is excellent, the menu is varied, the service is excellent, and you feel right at home. Fabio and his wife are wonderful people. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well without disappointment.

15/05/2026: We ate there twice this week during our Sicily holiday. Definitely eat here if you're in Modica! It's worth the trip from the center. The tomato salad with capers and onions and the salsiccia nero d'Avola were fantastic. Good, home-style Italian food at a good price. Grazie Fabio!

The staff is competent, attentive, and always friendly; a special thanks to Armando, who is incredibly friendly and instantly puts guests at ease. ☺️ We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality dining experience. 20/05/2026: I finally got to eat pizza at the new restaurant in this beautiful location, with its Italian-regional Campania style and, at the same time, the originality of the PIZZA setting. Immersed in this fantastic atmosphere, you find yourself directly in front of the open kitchen, where you can watch every stage of pizza preparation. The service is impeccable (Turki is very friendly), the menu offers a wide selection of pizzas from Campania and our region, and the fried foods are excellent. I almost forgot, while you wait, you can enjoy a delicious aperitif while sitting comfortably at the counter. TOP food... TOP service... TOP atmosphere... Want to enjoy a delicious pizza, somewhere between "authentic Neapolitan" and "contemporary"? You've come to the right place. In the heart of the historic center, this small restaurant is located on the corner of Via Grimaldi and Piazza Principe di Napoli. Between pizza and fried foods, you can enjoy a slice of Campanian cuisine. Don't focus on the service or the table setting; let yourself be inspired by the flexibility of the staff. I assure you, the kindness of the owners and the organization of the staff are not lacking.

08/06/2026: Clean and welcoming place, polite and courteous staff. Excellent wait times between ordering and serving. Average value for money. If you happen to sit at the tables outside the entrance, you'll find yourself in the middle of a throng of people coming to pick up takeout pizza. The route runs right up to the edge of the tables, compromising peace and privacy. You'll find people standing around talking to each other, but this is detrimental to their personal manners. To avoid this, I recommend the manager improve the takeout route with a planter or booths, separated from the outside tables. The pizza dough could be improved, including the leavening process; you'll notice it afterward when digesting and constantly hydrating; the ingredients and cooking are regular; The shapes, however, leave something to be desired (see photo). The presentation of the dish, even if it's pizza, is important, so the eye also needs to be looked at.

06/06/2026: I was recently in Modica for work. I spent two nights at this restaurant. The staff was exquisite, truly kind and super welcoming. The food was tasty and plentiful. Highly recommended.

With excellent service, charming surroundings, and great attention to detail, Villa Gaia is the perfect choice for a memorable countryside getaway. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at this agriturismo, a small natural gem surrounded by greenery, where you can breathe in the pure air. Obviously, the best part of our stay was the fresh, natural food, home-cooked, and the breakfast, which was a true delight, with those donuts made by the owner, a very kind and gracious person. I can confidently say that it's worth staying at least a day to fully enjoy it.

09/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant a few nights ago when we visited Modica. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the menu isn't the usual run-of-the-mill fare, with Mazara red shrimp and fish taking center stage. It's a selection of dishes that grandma makes, like the pasta with tinnirumi, which was excellent, and the rabbit alla stimpirata, which I'd never tried (the mint balanced the other flavors well). The almond jelly was highly recommended. When paying, we noticed that they sell the ingredients used in the dishes, such as Cosaruciara beans and Modica broad beans, which we were happy to purchase.

22/03/2026: I walked away feeling ripped off - especially since this was the first restaurant I’ve encountered in two weeks that sought a tip - starting at 24%. I found this place using the Michelin app and it currently has a 4.6 rating on Google. I got the “SHEEP MEAT /ENDIVE /BAKED RICOTTA CHEESE.” I didn’t know what to expect, but most other dishes were made from organs so I hoped to play it safe. The waiter described the sheep meat as a “pot pie,” made from different sheep meat “textures.” In essence, it was a compilation of sheep (lamb?) stripes and what appeared to me minced of sheep meet. It was ok, but nothing exciting. The “endive, baked ricotta” portion of the meal was a a small salad. The endive was boiled and impossible to cut. The taste of the ricotta was lost on bitterness of the endive. This certainly was not a Michelin not a Google 4.6 experience.

25/05/2026: Really mediocre bruschetta, caprese salad, and pizza burrata. We really do not recommend it... it's just that we are with a little one who was hungry and all the other restaurants don't open until 7:30 PM.

07/05/2026: Delicious cakes 😋 I discovered Liolà by chance and was truly impressed. The pastry shop is meticulously crafted, with an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to recommend the house specialties. The desserts are exceptional: fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and truly refined presentation. Spectacular pastries, among the best I've tasted in Sicily. The coffee is also excellent, served with care and professionalism. You can sense the artisanal passion in every product. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. If you're passing through Modica, this is a must-see for anyone who loves authentic Sicilian pastries.

27/05/2026: A restaurant in the upper Modica area, along a beautifully illuminated staircase. It's a place from another era where good food and attentive service continue to thrive. The house antipasto was excellent, a perfect appetizer for our first dinner in Sicily. The first courses (trofie and busiati) and the cannoli are also very good. The price is very fair!

27/05/2026: A fabulous culinary experience in a refined trattoria. The location is elegant, and the dishes are prepared and served with great care, but above all, with excellent ingredients. The price is ridiculous for what they offer. A downside, not the easiest to find.
