07/04/2026: For the meal you see in the picture: a small pasta, a small salad, some bread, a glass of wine and a digestif - I paid almost €50. Nothing in the qaulity of the food justified such a rip-off. With so many other great options in the area, you can easily find a better meal at a much better price. I'm not surprised there were only tourists in the restaurant at peak hour, and not a single Italian - and that the place was half-empty.

06/04/2026: This restaurant is a scam. We have been offered 20% off at the entrance to the restaurant and we accepted after we looked at the prices. On the menu it said that 1 kg of fresh fish was 50 euros. I ordered one portion for myself (i am 160cm tall and have 60 kilos, so you can tell I am not a person that can eat too much) and in the final bill I got charged 45 euros, which is equivalent to the 900g of fish (usually for 3 people). So it seems that I had almost a kilo of fish all by myself with the side dish and the appetizers before. I complained but they claimed that my portion was 800-900grams and there was nothing I could do about it. So if you are going to order fish, check the weight before ordering. Not to mention that we waited for over 30 minutes to get our food on the table.

12/04/2026: We went for dinner using an app recommended by the apartment owners and ended up at Mafone. Very average. Food 6/10:/ The squid was stretched and rubbery, tough, the risotto was probably the best but a bit too salty, the shrimp pasta was okay. The food was saved by the chef himself, who came out anxiously to ask if everything was okay (he was very friendly). The service was sulky. The guy was a bit lifeless. Not to mention his minimal English. There was no music, which made it awkward. The decor didn't quite work for me. :/ On the one hand, the tablecloths looked pretty good, but on the other, the service was typical of a typical bar.

31/03/2026: I found this place thanks to the reviews, and even though I don't eat sugar or gluten, I allowed myself to try the cannoli. They were indeed extremely sweet and satisfying, especially after climbing La Rocca, as a snack on the beach, or on the train to Palermo. So yes, I highly recommend this bakery for its quality and local atmosphere :)

18/04/2026: We went for a walk with my family and thought we deserved a glass of wine. The staff made us sit down nicely and were very kind to the children, of whom there were also several. We ended up staying for pizza and it was delivered within 3 minutes! We came up with a babyccino (cappuccino without coffee) for the children. There is also a changing table in the toilets, they are spacious and clean.

11/04/2026: A truly heartwarming experience! ✨ We had an absolutely wonderful dinner here. The food was delicious, and I’m so glad I followed the waiter's recommendations—I didn't catch his name, but his suggestions were absolutely spot on and made our meal even better. However, what moved us even more than the food was the incredible atmosphere created by the staff. It turned into a chilly evening, and the team actually went out of their way to give us sweaters to keep us warm! It was such a thoughtful, kind, and unexpected gesture that made us feel like more than just customers.

09/04/2026: I only went to this place to eat, not to stay. My experience was only about the food and service, and it wasn't very positive. The place is nice, there's a lovely fireplace that they light in the evenings, but the pizza wasn't to our liking. The service was very slow because, even though there were only us and another table of six, they served everyone who came in to get takeout first, so we waited over an hour and a half for two pizzas.

05/04/2026: A wonderful experience, both in terms of the hotel and the restaurant, combined with a very interesting and delicious cuisine, top-notch pizzas, dishes that are very enjoyable to enjoy, very empathetic and very kind staff, all topped off with great professionalism. A place to recommend for a truly relaxing stay.
