28/05/2025: I would say this is probably a good restaurant but if you’re a big group ordering a set menu beware. We were scammed and served a set menu supposedly worth 30 euros but were served breads, a tomato pasta and a granita. Yes no meat or fish was served for the mains. If you go as a group just order a la carte.

09/04/2025: Pedí una pizza básica con salami. Nada elegante. Como italiano - americano, originario de Brooklyn, esta fue la peor pizza estafa que he comido en cualquier lugar. Incluso la pizza de microondas sabía mejor. La corteza era muy dura y aparecía preformada; como si se hubiera hecho antes de tiempo y luego se echara al horno después de agregar la cobertura y la salsa. Tal vez la pasta habría sido mejor, como señalaron los otros críticos.

29/05/2025: We ate here twice because I'm traveling with my Muslim friend, and he appreciates halal meat. The dishes are halal, and we were very impressed the first time. The second visit was a bit different. The meat in the couscous was more fatty than meat. We actually complained about it because it was really quite fatty. After that, we were allowed to choose a dessert on the house. I'd say that's a good thing to do, and it's a solution that was offered to us, so it's all good. The staff is very friendly and personable!

27/05/2025: Multi-ethnic, fresh, young, colorful, spacious place. Informal and efficient service. The menu, with traditional Sicilian dishes but also African and Middle Eastern, reflects the variety of ethnic groups in the city. We were able to try the Brik, a stuffed roll with potatoes and tuna, the fish couscous with anglerfish, mussels and prawns, served with a cup of broth to add, a Senegalese Mafè and a Moussaka. We found all the dishes tasty and interesting, the raw materials seemed to be of good quality and the preparation impeccable. Very honest prices for the quality of the dishes.

13/05/2025: I had dinner at the Tannura restaurant a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, very kind and friendly staff. The menu is varied and full of special and very interesting proposals. Absolutely recommended!!!

12/05/2025: Sublime experience. Chosen for my daughter's baptism, it did not disappoint expectations. All the guests enjoyed it and complimented us on both the splendid location and the quality of the food. Absolutely worth trying, I highly recommend

26/05/2025: I was skeptical about trying this place out because when I first walked by a day earlier I saw the all you can plates and I assumed they were plates for show. I assumed wrong and luckily we tried it out because we liked everything we tried.

Every dish felt like a tribute to the region with fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and a simplicity that speaks volumes. You can taste the love and tradition behind every bite. It’s not just a meal, it’s a Sicilian experience. The staff was just as impressive. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Ganmoffo, what a genuinely kind and attentive person. His service added even more to the entire experience. Without a doubt, when we return to Sicily (and we absolutely will), Makanan Restaurant will be one of the first places we revisit. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the real taste and soul of Sicily.

09/03/2025: Excellent restaurant, welcoming place, ample parking, kind, friendly and qualified staff, satisfied from starter to dessert, all courses with gourmet plating. We were very satisfied, my wife and I will return, bringing family and friends to let them taste some truly excellent dishes..

15/02/2025: Giunta dopo due giorni di studio matto e disperato, digiuna da due giorni, appena entrata, mi sono resa conto che era SAN VALENTINOOOOO ed io ero una single e per di più non munita di prenotazione!!Ho temuto il peggio, ma alla fine sono stata accolta bene. Nonostante il temibile menù fisso di San Valentino, ci siamo accordati per un'ottima tagliata e contorno di patate, n.2 calici di rosso locale per gradire. Tutto di di qualità. Ho conosciuto anche Peppe e Valeria (gentilissimi) e ho concluso la serata con ilarità! Rapporto qualità prezzo buona. La location molto accogliente. Ciao Ragazzi!!!!
