The food was incredible with a presentation to match. The inside ambiance is high class but unpretentious and they have a hidden patio upstairs that we ate at. Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end.

03/04/2026: I couldn't decide what to order and went for the aperitive mix and a glass of the house wine. It was a lot of food but every single thing was so good! The pasta was also very good. The service was quick and nice. Absolutely recommend it :)

22/09/2025: I've been here several times. Always very good, simple local cuisine, and the staff are very friendly. I recommend it to everyone. P.S. Park wherever you can and walk to the restaurant to avoid problems. A walk back after a large meal will do you good. While waiting for your food, there's a butcher shop next door that sells excellent raw sausages.

13/04/2026: Such a wonderful intro to the beautiful city of Palermo!! Right near Quattro Canti, fresh pasta (made same day), super attentive staff, friendly and entertaining. All the food was more than plentiful and freshest of the fresh. 100% recommend!!

13/04/2026: A lovely restaurant in the heart of Palermo, featuring a vast variety of fabulous food from authentic pasta and pizza to small nibbles and burgers. I have to say, the staff were super friendly and I would recommend coming here if you are in Palermo. One of the highlight meals of the trip here in Sicily!

24/03/2026: The staff and service are efficient and fast. The pizza dough didn't convince me, but I can't say it was bad. The toppings were good, but a bit too bland: perhaps they should pair a contrasting flavor or increase the salt a bit. Regarding the ambiance: I thought the interior was nice, but they gave us a table outside, which was fine, but the people at our neighbors were too loud and annoying, so we left as soon as we finished eating. Overall, it's adequate.

08/03/2026: Avoid the open door. Given the cost of the pizzas, even if they are worth it. The owner could install an air conditioner in front of the door. A bit like Milan. Today it's cold here too and the drafts are worse than in the north. Next time I'll avoid that position in the corridor.

16/03/2026: Excellent! Modern and beautiful ambiance. Precise and friendly service. Excellent quality products. Impeccable service. What we liked most: octopus with potato foam, capellacci, tuna tataki, and chocolate ice cream. The bread is excellent (sourdough), and the organic olive oil is a 10/10. Highly recommended for a special occasion. Thank you!

28/12/2025: It was superb. I keep thinking about my (fresh) spaghetti, and specifically the sauce: Nduja, bottarga, breadcrumbs, grilled tomatoes, parsley. Mopped up with scarpette of their home made bread that was delicious. Clean bowls all round. My children had wonderful artichoke hearts that they made disappear in seconds, without offering any to their father. My wife had marinaded prawns of again unknown delicacy. As soon as I return to London I want to try to make that spaghetti sauce. Had an excellent carricante-based Etna bianco 2024 from SRC. Carricante for Etna whites and Nerello Mascalese for Etna rosso are the best wines in Sicily. Dry, saline, savoury, exquisite. My main course was roast pork slices from Nebrodi pigs with charred broccoli that melted in the mouth. I would go back again tonight and have the spaghetti again. I should also add that the service was first rate: two charming knowledgeable Sicilian ladies who spoke English well. What a place!

04/04/2026: A spectacular place: on a narrow street, with a steep incline and a terrace overlooking the entire street. The service is incredible: they recommend typical local products and are very friendly. The food is very good: the parmigiana is excellent, and so is the octopus. The mixed antipasto is very good. The pasta is spectacular: the rigatoni alla norma is superb, as are the spaghetti al nero di sepia, alla carbonara, and alla bolognese. The fish is also excellent: prawns, calamari, etc. And to finish: amazing desserts: pistachio flan, tiramisu, and a cake that's like a chocolate fondant. Very, very good. Fair price.

17/04/2026: Pasta dishes at reasonable prices and portions, quite tasty. The service was terrible, with extremely long wait times. A typical noisy Sicilian restaurant with little space to eat.

17/04/2026: A 200-year-old gem in the heart of Vucciria Market! ​I visited Osteria Al Casareccio for takeout and had an incredible experience. When I asked for their best recommendations, they suggested the Pistachio Pizza (topped with Burrata and Bronte pistachio cream D.O.P.) and the Palermo Pizza. I chose the pistachio pizza because it felt like something I could only truly enjoy here in Sicily. The dough was perfectly fluffy and soft, while the base was thin and crispy. The combination of cheese, pistachios, and olive oil created a flavor profile I've never experienced before—light, mellow, and absolutely delicious. I finished it all in no time! The staff mentioned the restaurant has been around for 200 years, and you can really feel that tradition in their food. Highly recommended!

10/04/2026: It’s very much a tourist restaurant. Service for us was very slow, though friendly. Wine was decent but pricey for Sicily. Food was all tasty, but hardly memorable. My fish secondi couldn’t have been simpler; a small fillet, cooked plain, with a bit of fennel leaf and two whole cherry tomatoes, for 24 euro.

14/02/2026: If you're a tourist with culinary expertise, skip this experience. The food is decent, nothing special, with long waits between courses and very small portions for the price. Regarding the service, they made a mistake; we had a reservation and went outside, and then they came to find us. They corrected it, and we decided to give it a chance. The atmosphere was very cold and austere, which is perhaps the area where they need to improve significantly. What really disappointed us were the excessively expensive and unreasonable drink prices. A glass of wine that was quite bad cost 8 euros, and two beers 10 euros. As a customer, I felt like I was being ripped off, and I wouldn't recommend it for that reason. You leave with the unpleasant feeling of having been cheated.

21/03/2026: Canopia was our first meal in Sicily, and it was fantastic! Delicious food, great service, wonderful vibe. Highly recommend. Classy and elegant. We were a group of 5.
