10/01/2025: If you find yourself passing through Termini Imerese, or simply are from Termini, you can't help but try it. Tony and Miriam are dynamic and fast, the pizza has a dough that I have always found spectacular and the toppings are of excellent quality. What can I say about the kebab: both in the sandwich and in the piadina, for me it is one of the best ones I have tried in many years.

28/02/2025: From Palermo: A real emotion to eat here. In the photo you will see a plate of sea urchins and prawn tartare in abundance that leaves you speechless. It seems like a lot of pasta, but only by eating it will you understand what it means to eat everything for the good taste of food. Favorite place now for DOPPI RICCI pasta and DOUBLE PRAWN TARTARE!! 30/03/2025: Awful service, weird ambiance (just some random tables in an alley with no actual restaurant), sub-par food, and up-charges for gluten free items that were not listed on the menu or disclosed by the waiter (€3/item). The appetizer was cold even though they said it took a long time since they used fresh oil to fry them (they were obviously not freshly fried as they were cold). Pesto pasta and carbonara pasta took more than an hour to make even with an empty “restaurant” (there was only 1 other table occupied with 2 people). Would not recommend, was our least favorite meal of our 1 week trip in Palermo.

26/03/2025: We were there for a graduation party, very characteristic environment and Palermo food with many small tastings, we will return soon on other occasions.

12/03/2025: Lo abbiamo recentemente provato per cena, in tre abbiamo preso due antipasti (polpo arrosto e caponata con pane e pesce), tre secondi di pesce (calamaro arrosto, spada arrosto e gamberoni) e due dolci (cannolo e croccante). Tranne il polpo, troppo duro, gli altri piatti sono stati graditi da tutti; davvero gustosa la caponata, anche ben presentata (oltre che buona). Ciò che ci è piaciuto meno è stato il servizio (ragazzi forse inesperti ma gentili e disponibili, comunque da incoraggiare) e soprattutto la sistemazione dei tavoli nel locale, troppi per lo spazio disponibile; ci si poteva muovere a stento e, pur comprendendo che lo spazio è quello che è, si sta troppo vicini l'uno all'altro. Prezzo accettabile se si fruisce dello sconto The Fork. Non escludo di tornarci, si trova a pochi passi dallo storico mercato di Ballarò.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the breathtaking space – a true feast for the eyes. But what truly elevated our experience to a solid 5 stars was their exceptional hospitality and culinary artistry. Traveling with a 2 and 4-year-old can be challenging, especially when seeking out Michelin-starred restaurants. MEC, however, welcomed our little ones with open arms. Their staff went above and beyond to ensure our children were comfortable and entertained, making us feel completely at ease. This level of attentiveness is rare and truly appreciated. The culinary journey was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was an explosion of flavor, a testament to the chef's mastery. We were particularly impressed by their willingness to accommodate our request for two different tasting menus – a flexibility they don't usually offer. Every bite was a masterpiece, perfectly showcasing the vibrant flavors of Sicilian cuisine. MEC truly lives up to its star, and then some. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience. 04/01/2025: The place is beautiful, it is located on the first floor of Palazzo Castrone, the connection between museum and food is a winning one. It would already be interesting to be able to see and remember forty years of technology that revolutionized the world and our lives. Instead we are also given the opportunity to taste the dishes of the extraordinary Carmelo Trentacosti. We chose the vegetarian tasting and did not regret it. From start to finish, an incredible discovery of very fine flavors expertly mixed with the freshest seasonal vegetables and those preserved in the right times and ways, special mention for the preserved caponata with Modica chocolate. The bread and butter are excellent, the fusilloni with truffles are a total dream. Pre dessert dessert and unmissable greetings, a wonderful pastry shop. The wine list is very rich. The rigorous but warm service, we felt welcomed. Nice evening!

22/03/2025: I hadn't been here in years. I found it much more elegant but the food disappointed me. I ordered spaghetti alla guitar with seafood sauce which was visibly pre-cooked. What a disappointment! The dessert was also disappointing. The fried fish, however, is good

16/03/2025: Small but welcoming restaurant. Pleasant surprise 2 steps from the Monreale cathedral. Excellent food and quality ingredients. The waiter was welcoming and very friendly. Lower prices than expected! Spectacular view of Palermo. Highly recommended!

02/03/2025: Ho mangiato l'antipasto rustico, il quale contiene prodotti tipici palermitani squisiti. Per non parlare della buonissima trippa. Inoltre i camerieri sono simpaticissimi e soprattutto bravissimi.

05/01/2025: Try them -> • citrus panettone: dry and charred underneath; • pandorato at Kinder Bueno: dry and with very little filling (with the guns 4 out of 5 slices didn't have it); Both with an annoying yeasty aftertaste. This quality is expected from industrial products, certainly not from artisan ones. Two stars instead of 1 only because the creams were actually good. Never again.
