11/05/2025: In April 2025, with my family, I had dinner at the "Antico Baglio" Pizzeria Restaurant in Castelbuono. Very nice place, large, tastefully furnished. We focused on the pizzas and chose three different flavours: sfincionella (toasted breadcrumbs, caciocavallo, anchovies and tomato and onion) excellent, inebriating aroma, well-leavened dough, good cooking, Napoli pizza and gourmet pizza (Madonna mozzarella, Nebrodi pork loin, potatoes and ferla mushrooms). All excellent. Friendly staff, good service. Honest prices. Advised

01/06/2025: Mi novia y yo nos sentamos aquí durante 20 minutos, los camareros nos miraban pero no limpiaban la mesa. Tratamos de hacer contacto con ellos muchas veces, sin ninguna respuesta, incluso mientras hicimos contacto visual. Pasado un rato el camarero sus amigos (o clientes habituales) pasaron y recibieron toda su atención, olvidándonos de nosotros.

25/05/2025: If you don't feel like making your own breakfast on the weekend, you should go here for brunch. A truly delicious menu with excellent coffee! If you want to treat yourself to a smoothie, you should do that! Mashallah, we had a great time :) The staff is really nice too 🩵

11/05/2025: Nice place, good quality food of any kind (meat, fish, pizza, sushi..). Quick service and friendly staff. Average prices (an eat-and-drink platter, sausage, pork ribs, stighiola + two first courses + a dessert + a beer and water = 80 euros).

18/05/2025: Today is the cannolo festival in Piana degli Albanesi. I ate the most horrible cannolo in the cannolo history. Very sweet industrial cream, without candied fruit and the worst of all, I saw an employee come in with two huge white bins containing industrial ricotta. For Piana degli Albanesi it is the worst thing ever seen and unfortunately tasted, in fact my friends and I threw the cannolo away. Never again!!!

18/05/2025: Rude and annoyed staff when welcoming customers, the coffee paid €1.20 was served in plastic cups, furthermore behind the counter the staff continuously spoke in local dialect without having the slightest respect for those in front of them.

27/04/2025: This food was the best I had in Palermo, even compared to Michelin starred venues. The orata all’acqua pazza was so delicious I used a spoon to lap up the well-flavored broth. I spend 6 months a year in Palermo but this the first time I’ve had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant. Cannot wait to go back!!!

17/05/2025: An oasis of peace and happiness for those who are gluten intolerant. The girl who served us was very friendly and nice. Amazing food and really affordable prices. 09/05/2025: Provato il salmone al pistacchio, quello alle mandorle e il calamaro siciliano, il tutto accompagnato dal vino Donna Fugata e una porzione di patate arrosto. Era tutto squisito. La tavola era ben apparecchiata ed il servizio estremamente cordiale e veloce. Si trova lievemente fuori dal pieno centro. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è decisamente buono.

20/04/2025: Ristorante tunisino a conduzione familiare. Gli antipasti perfetti identici a quelli gustati in Tunisia. Il cus cus di carne, che preferisco, è fatto molto bene e la porzione abbondante. La famiglia che conduce questo locale è gentilissima tanto da essere diventati amici. Meraviglioso all'aperto nelle serate estive.

05/06/2025: Just for having booked 6 seats they demanded that 6 fixed menus be ordered, reasoning that 6 seats cannot be occupied and 4 menus ordered. We were 4 adults and 2 children. Conclusion we had to order 5 menus. P.S. THE TABLE WAS FOR 5 PEOPLE, NEVER AGAIN.

11/05/2025: We have been here several times, tonight everything was superb. The starters were good as usual... but the first courses were really fantastic. Tagliatelle allo Scoglio 10e praise Superlative risotto and penne.

26/04/2025: We didn't know Pinturicchio except by hearsay. We booked (when entering, we noticed that some people without reservations had to leave because the place was fully booked; this seemed like a good sign) and we liked the place, sober and elegant, and the welcome we were given right from the entrance. After choosing traditional Palermo dishes (this is a "neighborhood tavern") from a nice, substantial menu at more than reasonable prices, we began to praise them and say we were satisfied with the taste, the quantity, the freshness, especially after the last lunch that didn't go so well in another restaurant. Unfortunately, when it comes to desserts, they tell us that they are available: Maritozzo with cream, cheesecake, creme caramel and tiramisu... Big disappointment! Where are the typical desserts of a Palermo neighborhood tavern? A cannoli, a slice of cassata, a citrus fruit frost, just to name a few? Maritozzo, as far as I know, is typically Roman and, although excellent, I would not propose it in an Osteria in Palermo or I would propose it alongside other typical specialties of this city. We were so enthusiastic, the conclusion left us not fully happy.

26/04/2025: Non conoscevamo Pinturicchio se non per sentito dire. Abbiamo prenotato (entrando, abbiamo notato che alcune persone senza prenotazione se ne sono dovute andare perché il locale era tutto prenotato; questo ci è sembrato un buon segno) e già all'ingresso il locale, sobrio ed elegante, e l'accoglienza che ci è stata riservata ci sono piaciuti. Dopo la scelta dei piatti della tradizione palermitana (si tratta di una "Osteria di quartiere") da un menù bello sostanzioso e a prezzi più che ragionevoli, abbiamo cominciato a lodarli e a dirci soddisfatti del gusto, della quantità, della freschezza, soprattutto dopo l'ultimo pranzo andato non proprio bene in un altro ristorante. Purtroppo, al momento dei dolci, ci dicono che sono disponibili: maritozzo con la panna, cheesecake, creme caramel e tiramisù... Grande delusione! Dove sono i dolci tipici di una Osteria di quartiere palermitano? Un cannolo, una fetta di cassata, un gelo di agrumi, solo per dirne alcuni? Il maritozzo, per quanto ne sappia, è tipicamente romano e, benché ottimo, non lo proporrei in una Osteria di Palermo oppure lo proporrei accanto ad altre specialità tipiche di questa città. Eravamo tanto entusiasti, però la conclusione ci ha lasciati non pienamente contenti.
