02/05/2024: A Sicilian classic, founded in 1834, with an old-style interior, mostly frequented by Italians, taking up a whole Piazza, next to a church. The Food was tasty, reliable and hearty, portions large enough to share. You will not be disappointed if you want traditional Sicilian staples. Tourists could be found inside to enjoy the kid-friendly traditional Sicilian lung and kidney meat sandwich served street-food style.

22/03/2024: Locale stupendamente ristrutturato in uno dei più bei palazzi STORICI di corso Vittorio Emanuele, in piena zona pedonale e con vista sulla cattedrale. All’interno perfetto mix architettonico di moderno (con un vero e proprio Museo sulla Apple e Steve Jobs) e antico, servizio eccellente come Tradizione Michelin vuole. Lo Chef mantiene le attese nel suo menu degustazione di terra e mare con ottimi incroci di ingredienti siciliani e internazionali che si fanno apprezzare per gli accostamenti, l’equilibrio, il gusto e anche la presentazione. 07/03/2024: Il ristorante, raffinato e con un’atmosfera soffusa molto romantica, si integra perfettamente con il palazzo antico che lo ospita. La tavola ben apparecchiata è molto elegante e si discosta totalmente dalla moda, sempre più diffusa, delle tavole senza tovaglia ed essenziale. Sono stata al ristorante con il mio fidanzato ed entrambi abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione “Monte dei pegni” chiedendo una variazione del dessert in uno dei due menù. Per quanto riguarda il vino ci siamo fidati del consiglio del cameriere e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. I piatti, piacevoli alla vista e al gusto, dimostrano un’attenzione ai particolari da parte della cucina coerente con quella vista nei dettagli in sala. Ho apprezzato particolarmente le capesante scottate con purea di sedano rapa, salsa al nero e asparagi di mare, e il dessert: gelato al fico d’india con macaroon al pistacchio, crema di ricotta e morbido al cioccolato. Il mio fidanzato invece ha ritenuto molto interessante il prosciutto d’anatra all’arancia, indivia tatin, e crema di carote al cardamomo. Il personale è molto professionale e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Abbiamo molto apprezzato che la cucina abbia personalizzato spontaneamente in occasione del nostro anniversario uno dei due dessert. I prezzi li ritengo coerenti con l’offerta del ristorante. Mi auguro che il ristorante raggiunga presto i riconoscimenti che merita, noi torneremo sicuramente!

12/05/2024: Very cute restaurant with a nice terrace where you can sit under palm trees or in the green. In addition, there is great, attentive service and delicious food at a top price-performance ratio - I can only recommend it!

12/05/2024: We got there by mistake, we didn't look for it on purpose and it was a really nice dinner, even though we were tired and it was late (10pm) there were 4 of us of which 1 was my son... he's a big guy way he eats everything (4 years old) but seeing him eat a whole pizza with taste was truly unique... the pizza was excellent, soft and delicious... the best touch in my opinion was the delicious oil (and we do) put on the pizza... and then also the chips with croquettes and panelle which were delicious.. the pizza was very soft and really good... (no heaviness at night, no liters of water or stomach ache and not even Riopan 😅). However the place was really nice and particular as you can see in the photo, the lady (I don't know if the owner) is really very kind... cheap price. Highly recommended place!!
