13/06/2026: Trattoria with home-style cooking, yet excellent quality. We visited three times in a row for lunch to fully appreciate the menu. The fried calamari, anchovies, and mixed grilled fish are unparalleled. The first courses are original and always delicious, with a special mention for the spaghetti "a vongole" (a type of spaghetti with clams), especially the spaghetti with sea urchins. I challenge anyone to find better... The fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The house white wine is recommended. Service is prompt, punctual, and extremely friendly. The stunning view completes the excellent experience. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the menu. Highly recommended.

10/06/2026: We visited this place 3 days ago, and the cannoli were the best I have ever eaten. The ricotta was incredibly fresh and the shell was perfectly crispy. The owner was also very kind and welcoming. A special bonus is that you can even speak Albanian with him, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Sicilian cannoli

19/05/2026: We had the most lovely meal at Il Carretto. The service was so friendly, they were helpful with the menu in explaining the dishes including the specials. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are decent. We had eggplant meatballs for starters which were so tasty. For mains I had the Spaghetti with muscles which had a great amount of muscles and a delicious flavour. We did not have room for dessert but I’d be keen to go back to see what they offer! Highly recommend this restaurant which is in a nice quiet location with beautiful views of the church tower up the alley way.

22/05/2026: A magnificent pastry shop, found by chance near the Ballarò market. Fresh and delicious products. We had delicious arancini, fried and baked iris (fantastic), and superb fresh cannoli. Exceptional prices. Away from the hustle and bustle and far from the most recommended and mentioned pastry shops. If you're in the area, don't miss it.

03/06/2026: A great restaurant for a mid-afternoon snack! Rosita was a very tentative server who always made sure the next limoncello spritz was on its way! Paired with an order of Bruschette Nicu Nicu made for a delightful evening.

17/05/2026: Lunch on May 18, 2026, as a couple The restaurant's interior is sleek and elegant. Stone walls and beams, several rooms, a warm welcome, and attentive staff. We opted for the €75 set menu plus two à la carte courses and several glasses of wine. Overall, the cuisine at this restaurant is remarkable. Everything we ordered was delicious and exquisitely refined. This restaurant could easily earn a Michelin star in France. For this level of quality, the price (€170) is more than justified.

08/02/2026: Went to the farm with the family and a 18month old and couldn't be happier. The care and attentiveness, it was a really good experience. Was taken around the animals where we could enter the pens and was lovely to see my toddler get so close and be able to interact. Highly recommend!!
