08/10/2025: The trattoria is family-run. The father and son are very friendly and helpful; they explained the entire menu to us. We begin with a welcome from the kitchen. The food is truly delicious and freshly prepared. The cheesecake is highly recommended.

18/08/2025: We booked at this restaurant and were served by very kind and helpful staff. The food was excellent, the fish was fresh, and the atmosphere was very clean and well-kept. Gluten-free? Not a problem. The hostess made us feel right at home right away. Highly recommended.

19/09/2025: I've been wanting to try the famous vegan deli at this lovely place for a while, but I've never found the time to stop by. I had high expectations, and I have to say that the reality not only met them, but exceeded them! A whole counter of completely vegan deli food, a wide variety, huge Palermo-style portions, but above all... DELICIOUS! Add to this the kind and professional staff, the tidy place, and outdoor seating, and I'd say I'll be back often, especially since I haven't tried the desserts yet. 😊

12/10/2025: Excellent dishes with good quality food, very nice bread with local olive oil. Service could be improved with extra staff. We waited over an hour for the meat to arrive but it was very nice at the end. Definitely looking forward to come back !

02/10/2025: Great food. We started with appetizers. For the 1st - pastas with porcini and pasta with zucchini. For the main courses - veal steak, pork tenderloin and veal chick. Combined with a bottle of local red vine it was great and very testy. Need a small improve in speed of service.

20/09/2025: This was our second dinner out in Cefalù, and we chose Qualia, a Michelin-recognized restaurant and it was absolutely worth it! We went for the 6-course tasting menu and had an amazing experience from start to finish. One of the highlights for me was a starter featuring octopus served in a delicate potato bisque with olive oil , simply divine. I love fish and have eaten it all my life, and I’m very picky about preparations that mask the natural flavor. This dish was perfection: clean, fresh, and delicate . We also had homemade pasta with tuna bottarga, which was perfectly balanced, and a prawns starter with grapefruit and mint that was light, fresh, and beautifully presented. Later, we enjoyed pork that was incredibly tender with a subtle sweet aftertaste. The dessert was mascarpone cream with biscuit, the best mascarpone cream we’ve ever had, silky and rich texture without being overly sweet. What stood out across the entire menu was how all the ingredients were paired so well that none overpowered the others. Each dish felt carefully thought out and harmonious. The portions are exactly what you expect from a tasting menu, not huge, but enough to feel satisfied. Both my partner and I were pleasantly full by the end. The chef’s creativity really shines, the staff were friendly and attentive; my partner even commented on how quickly plates were cleared, which kept the whole dinner flowing perfectly. The location is another plus, a bit away from the busy tourist streets, which makes the experience even more special and relaxed. Overall, we had absolutely nothing to complain about, it was a memorable evening from start to finish. I noticed another reviewer mentioned they had the same menu a week ago but seemed less impressed. I’m honestly surprised, because we had an exceptional experience and felt every course was prepared with care and creativity. If you’re in Cefalù and looking for a special evening away from the busy tourist streets, I can’t recommend Qualia enough. Go for the tasting menu if you want a full journey through the chef’s vision, next time, I can’t wait to return and try the à la carte menu

I absolutely recommend the bucatini with sardines and the fish skewers: you can almost smell the sea air. P.S. Thank you (and for the bread!)

05/10/2025: Excellent octopus salad, excellent cod with Tropea onions, excellent Mediterranean-style swordfish. Fairly priced and top-notch staff (Tony and Alex are incredibly friendly, helpful, and courteous). Highly recommended if you're in Palermo and want a proper seafood dinner.

08/10/2025: An awesome dinner on our last night in Sicily - so pleased we made the trip from Cefalu. Our favourite meal experience of the holiday. Knock out food, exceptional service, incredibly knowledgeable, fun, kind team who went out of their way for us. Massively recommend all the food - ragu pasta, caponata, slow cooked pork, tomato and mushroom salads, and the coffee! On leaving we realised we had a flat tyre (11pm)….within five mins the owner, one of the waiters and a local customer were changing our tyre and had us en route home! Couldn’t recommend enough! Full of diners on a Tuesday evening, who seemed local/regulars. Bustling the whole evening. We’d love to visit again to stay and try lunch. Must visit!

04/10/2025: Nestled in a charming corner of Piano Battaglia, this restaurant is a real surprise. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is perfect after a walk in the woods. The traditional and authentic dishes reflect the flavors of the mountains: fresh mushrooms, local cheeses, and delicious meats. A place you'll want to return just to savor those authentic flavors again. Highly recommended!

03/10/2025: A lovely dinner at L’Anciova, a small, charming neighborhood restaurant right near Porto Carini, the entrance to the Capo Market. We started with caponata and sardine meatballs, followed swordfish along with a crisp catarratto. Our food was very good but the pizzas being served all around us looked outstanding!

01/10/2025: We went this week as a group of five for dinner and loved it. The service was very friendly, and all the dishes we ordered, all different, were delicious. The day I return to Palermo, I'll definitely go back! I recommend it!
