The service is excellent like few others, a trend that's becoming increasingly rare in the restaurant industry. The maitre d' will look after you and give you impeccable advice. Simple, excellent traditional cuisine, everything fresh. An experience worth repeating.

27/04/2026: I stopped by chance, and found a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with helpful and friendly staff. I ate a plate of excellent, sublime spaghetti alla marinara. The freshest fish was expertly cooked, and the finishing touch was those two raw red prawns from Mazara del Vallo. I highly recommend it. The only complaint is the QUANTITY; 30-50 grams more pasta would have been enough and I would have been delighted.

At first glance, the place seems small, but the very gracious owner invited us upstairs, where there's a spacious room with a balcony and many tables. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas—both classic and more original creations. We tried several, and all were very tasty: great dough, good ingredients, and a true Sicilian atmosphere. The menu also includes salads and wine, and for beer lovers, the Paulaner is a big plus. We were there on a Saturday around 7:00 PM, and within half an hour, the restaurant was filled with Italian families, which clearly demonstrates that it's a favorite spot for locals. We were also pleasantly surprised by the very low bill—significantly lower than most places we visited during our week-long trip to Sicily. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, local atmosphere and excellent pizza in Cinisi. 11/05/2026: Definitely the best pizza we've ever eaten. The dough is so thin it's almost nonexistent. The taste made us go back a second time and tried other dishes – definitely worth it. The staff was smiling and multilingual. A fantastic place. We've been to several places in Cinisi, but this is our "one."

02/05/2026: Best meal in Palermo! Excellent service from fluent English server who provided food and wine recommendations that were spot on. Food was refined yet simple dishes that were bursting with flavors. Owner and his mom were working the bar and the kitchen. This area is a few blocks from the tourist joints and filled with happy and stylist young people.

03/06/2026: A very nice place – lots of tables and very friendly waiters. The food is super tasty. I'm not a fan of lasagna – but this one was delicious. I really recommend it :)

14/05/2026: I visited the restaurant on 01.05.2026 with six friends we ordered food and drinks. We paid the bill including a 30euro tip. As it was such a lovely night we decided to stay and have a couple more drinks. 40mins later the waitress came over and said there was a mix up on the bill and we owed another 90 euros. I don't speak Italian at all. I looked at the original bill and we had been charged for seven meals. I asked for a break down of what ever word said in English so I could work out work out what had been missed off. The owner went MAD at me wanting to call the police. I turned to get my phone out of my pocket to call my friend who speaks Italian and the owner PUNCHED me in the face ! I did not retaliate at all.His family then grabbed him away. His daughter then came out and said no charge. We offered to pay for the extra drinks and she said no charge. DISGRACEFUL behaviour by the owner. I was very prepared to pay i just wanted it explaining to me...... KEEP AWAY. How dare you come back with lies and lies. My bill was 153 euro and I gave your daughter on the till 180 euro. We only had 16 beers and they not all of them was a 66cl bottle I have a photo of the bill to prove it. No one in my group was intoxicated at all. I DID NOT SAY TO you no way. I was very clear I just wanted the breakdown of the bill. And all of a sudden none of your staff spoke English. After taking to friends in the village they your son talks perfect English. We as a group have been visiting Sant ambrogio for over 15 years. To say the owner never punched me is just unbelievable. As your wife. Son and daughter push you in to the kitchen. We're everyone in the restaurant seen you hit me and heard all the shouting between your family in the kitchen. Then you daughter came out and said no charge please leave. At this point my uncle who is in his 80's offered her 50 euro for the extra drinks and she refused the money. So stop all these lies !! I will post pictures of my bill. Here is my bill as promised we had 16 beers only 12 of they were 66cl.....none of my party of 7 who having been going to Sant ambrogio for over 15 years was intoxicated. So STOP telling lies. I left a tip and you the owner punched me in the face !! And I did not retaliate in any way at all

11/05/2026: This lovely little village has a fantastic restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful, even without a spectacular sunset. The people who work there have heart, and you can taste and feel it. We felt very comfortable, and that's what makes it special... a restaurant should be welcoming. Wonderful! 👍👍👍

14/05/2026: Fantastic pizzeria in Palermo. All the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. They have an indoor dining area and an outdoor terrace. Don't miss this restaurant!

17/05/2026: I wasn't familiar with Sclafani Bagni; we arrived here almost by chance thanks to a B&B we decided to stay at. Upon learning about Terrazza Costantino, we decided to enjoy a culinary experience this evening. What can I say? We couldn't have made a better choice. A taste experience that's hard to describe in words, so I invite you to try it yourself. Every course was completely satisfying, with quality, local products. We appreciated this blend of tradition and innovation, striving to maintain ancient flavors but with a unique touch. I think the value for money is excellent! A special mention to the head waiter, who gave us the utmost attention, explained each course in detail, and recommended the wine to choose. I also appreciated his kindness, joking about how brave I was for walking there in high heels (I agree, it was a daunting task 😂). Finally, thanks to Chef Costantino, who came over to chat with us at the end of the dinner to make sure everything was going well, and I appreciated his humility and passion in making it happen! Thanks again, and I recommend anyone who happens to be in the area to try it.

17/02/2026: I contacted Matteotti Cafè to arrange a delivery for some vegetarian guests staying at my vacation home... beyond the super fresh and delicious products (but they'd already told me about them), I found courtesy, professionalism, politeness... and punctuality! Plus, the delivery guy, Alessandro, was very polite!!!! Top service! Congratulations 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
