07/02/2026: Zero seriousness, politeness of the guy who welcomes us better not talk about it.... I called at 7pm to book a table for 4 people for 9pm and I was told that it would be possible at 9:30pm.... I promptly showed up and as soon as I gave my last name I was told that I was not listed in the reservations but even more disconcerting is the lack of doing everything to find accommodation... in fact I was told that given the unexpected reservations we would probably not be able to have dinner before 10pm and that in the meantime I could sit outside and wait... in the rain.... congratulations!!!

09/09/2025: We had the opportunity to spend a weekend at the Geranio B&B. The strong point of this B&B is the hosts: a couple who are always available, welcoming, and smiling. We loved the pool and the location (sea view and close to Sant'Agata di Militello). We'll be back!!!

03/05/2026: Everything was perfect. Those who give the place a negative review because of the high price should go to McDonald's for lunch. Beautiful location, clean, fast, friendly staff, and above all, excellent food. From Catanzaro, that's all.

26/04/2026: At first it seems like a nice place with good food and friendly staff, but in reality it's not like that at all... we waited at least 1 hour/1 hour and then 1 of the 4 dishes we had ordered arrived, and it was almost cold. After 10 minutes, 2 more arrived almost cold too. By the time the fourth dish arrived we had all already finished eating, at least this one arrived hot 🙄. When we asked the staff how long it would be until our dishes were ready, they always told us they were arriving, or that they were ready so we stayed quiet but in reality nothing arrived. I must also mention the quality of the dishes, almost raw pasta for 2 of the 4 dishes, then the pasta with shrimp looked nothing like that magnificent photo on Google, they put 4 pieces of tiny 🦐 and then they put 7 pieces of shrimp heads (which obviously are not edible) to trick you into thinking there were a lot of them but instead you eat 99.99% (raw) pasta. At least the view from the terrace was beautiful. Total: €100 for a very disappointed experience. So my advice: find another place to eat. 02/05/2026: Popped in for lunch and was politely & friendly shown to a table where the table top was a sheet of lava 😃 I ordered the Salad, tomato tuna capers & balsamic vinegar on toccata. It was superb, fantastic. I had hear that this was a tradition Salina dish. Honestly, try it it’s fabulous here. Regards Doug

25/09/2025: A true gem in the lower part of the village, just a few meters from the sea and the pebble beach. The food is a delight for the taste buds; you'll never want to leave the table. All the freshest local fish is served with kindness by the owner Aldo's sons, who are also extremely hospitable and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. The wine list is varied, featuring Sicilian products to suit all budgets. If you're near the village, stop here for an experience you won't soon forget.

13/09/2025: On the recommendation of a local, we opted for this restaurant... a beautiful, simply furnished room that adds warmth to the atmosphere, and a small outdoor terrace. Friendly and helpful service... Tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes, shrimp, and eggplant (very delicate), a good seafood appetizer, and a grilled dish (delicious sea bass), shrimp, swordfish roll, and grilled vegetables... We were very satisfied!

11/04/2026: We had an amazing time at Kisté. We took the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing and it was fantastic! Very generous portions, and in particular the bisque, the red shrimp carpaccio, and the veal stood out to us. The staff was very kind and explained the menu, items and wine to us in English, which I’m very grateful about. It felt like a great way to sample many different Sicilian dishes with a unique touch to them.

23/04/2026: A truly unique pizza experience, excellent quality, but definitely not for everyone. Unfortunately, you can't choose what to eat, so you have to stick to the daily menu. An experience worth trying at least once, for sure.

Celiacs can be accommodated in advance, and the staff is knowledgeable and reliable in managing gluten-free options. Highly recommended for those seeking both flavor and tranquility!
