18/02/2026: The owners and staff are incredibly kind!!! They have delicious croissants in a variety of flavors (the one with cream is delicious!)... the brioches with a "tuppo" filling are delicious!!! The coffee is delicious, even the decaf one!!!

14/08/2026: Review for Hammucca di San Saba. I went at 7:40 PM to order four sandwiches and two portions of fries. An employee told me I couldn't place any orders before 8 PM and had to wait until 8 PM to order. I should point out that the restaurant was open, with the kitchen already prepared, and we were welcome to walk in. The employee didn't want to know anything about it, and without giving me much explanation for my requests, he just kept saying "No" over and over again in a very arrogant manner. It's a very nice place with good food, but because of this terrible service, they've lost four customers.

30/07/2026: We were at the San Saba branch last night, there were four of us. This isn't meant to be a disparaging review, but rather to draw attention to something that would really make a difference. We arrive, and they don't take reservations, so we look for an available table. My friend and I are pregnant, so we were looking for a "comfortable" table with normal-height tables, not aperitivo tables like most. One was occupied, another had just a bench, and another had a register and some junk on top, with a shopping cart in front of it. We settled on the only free one ourselves by turning the bench around (after asking permission). Once we got our menus, we started eating: good fries, cold drinks, and good quality sandwiches. Our friend, who had ordered a fried chicken sandwich, noticed that this burger was completely raw in the center of town. He went to the register to report it, and the staff were super kind, refunding the sandwich and making another one right away. Furthermore, in a place that's just opened, and which is a novelty of the season, you can't help but find a bottle of sparkling water. I repeat, the quality of the products was good, aside from the issue with the raw sandwich, but there was a lot of disorganization and confusion. Considering it was Wednesday and it wasn't crowded, everything was very quiet, so things could have been managed better. Also considering that everyone brings their own food to the table, when there were five people in the kitchen, it's unclear what they were doing, considering they didn't just mess up our orders, but others as well. The place, however, is very nice and welcoming, but it could be better utilized.

16/08/2026: I hadn't been here for a few years. I found the place renovated and very pleasant. The pizza was good, as was the fried calamari. Overall, the impression was positive, even if the bill was a bit pricey.

13/08/2026: This pizzeria also offers gluten-free options. They're very careful about contamination; they fried the fries and panelle in a separate oil so as not to use contaminated frying oil. I then tried the pizza with gluten-free dough, which I found very soft and delicious. As a celiac, I was very satisfied!

24/07/2026: Highly recommended restaurant. Fresh fish, exquisite dishes, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent value. The experience can be summed up in two words: the sea in your mouth!

25/06/2026: Best pasta, amazing service and air conditioned. Highly recommend if you are in the area or waiting for the ferry to the aeolian islands. We had the tomato pasta and the spaghetti with clams- both were phenomenal!

29/07/2026: Excellent products, truly excellent pizza and focaccia. Generous portions and very low prices, unlike those found on the main drag in Lipari. The owner at the cash register is very friendly, as are the staff at the counter. Highly recommended.

13/07/2026: We were refused a table by the railing on the terrace with the explanation that it was "for more people" (there were three of us, the table had four seats). Seats were then gradually assigned. And strangely, only two people were ever seated at each table. Otherwise, it's extremely overpriced (just sitting there costs €5), but the view is still nice.

11/07/2026: The terror of celiacs. I've never seen such ignorance and poor service towards celiacs. There's almost nothing to eat, and they don't guarantee the absence of contamination. The staff clearly demonstrates a complete lack of training. I think this is unacceptable in 2026 for a restaurant of this caliber.

13/07/2026: The coffee was particularly bad. The service was extremely slow. The staff was rude.

28/07/2026: I had a granita at this bar this morning. I requested almond flavor with pistachio smudges. When it was "served" to me, it was slammed onto the table in an ungraceful manner. The glass wasn't completely filled and wasn't stained as I'd requested, but both flavors were equally present. So I asked the person behind the counter (first at the bar and a few minutes later at the cashier) to make it as I'd requested. Instead of granting my request, he justified his decision by arguing that the different consistencies of the different flavors meant it had blended together that way. I didn't feel like arguing, so I ate it as it was "served." The product wasn't bad and had a good flavor, but the staff's simpering and listless attitude put me off both the granita and my desire to return to this bar. Learn to respect your customers.
