10/05/2026: The reservation went very well: I called ahead, specified the group size, and everything was perfect. The problem was that only when we sat down did we discover that lunch was exclusively a fixed menu—a piece of information that would have been helpful when booking, even if only to better organize ourselves or make an informed choice. I brought the situation to the attention of the dining room manager, who was helpful and found a reasonable solution. So far, so good. I simply added, in a calm and non-controversial tone, that perhaps it would be helpful to communicate the lunch format when booking. The response, unfortunately, was rather curt: I was told it was my fault, because "it's been like this for forty years," and I should have known better. A customer should never be told they're wrong for not guessing something they weren't told. As for the food, however, I have nothing to complain about: the appetizers are plentiful and truly delicious, very local and authentic, and the first courses are excellent. The portions are generous—perhaps even a little too generous for those, like us, who don't like to weigh themselves down. We hadn't planned on having the meat, but it arrived anyway, and we reluctantly left it almost entirely alone, especially since the only option for taking it home was foil—not exactly ideal. Another thing worth considering: with a set menu, knowing the dishes and allergens in advance isn't optional. One of the appetizers contained bell peppers, to which I'm allergic. If I'd had the menu beforehand, I could have adjusted. I understand it's not easy to manage, but it's something that would really make a difference. The place was packed, and the acoustics left much to be desired—it was very noisy throughout the entire lunch—but that's a minor point. In summary: authentic, quality cuisine, a beautiful setting, an overall pleasant experience. It's a shame about the way things were handled, something that could have been resolved much more simply. I recommend it to anyone looking for a different Sunday in good company, but knowing what to expect in advance.

27/05/2026: I've been using Google to find the right places, and so far, I'm getting the hang of it. This pizzeria is worth a try. The pizza has a delicious, yet above all light, dough; it doesn't linger in your stomach. The toppings are subjective; mine was Alicudi, and I was satisfied. The dessert was also excellent. I don't remember the name, but the owner, Mr. Tommaso, suggested the one with cinnamon and basil, excellent. The desserts are homemade, and you can taste and see it. I'll be back. Update May 2026 I've been back and can confirm the quality of the food and service. I recommend reservations.

22/04/2026: A lovely atmosphere with young, highly trained staff. The excellent table service was complemented by an excellent pizza that looked like a masterpiece. The taste buds fully met our expectations. We thought the pizza chef was Neapolitan, but it turned out he was a local. Truly excellent. Authentic Neapolitan pizza. RITA & family

05/05/2026: We came around 11 o'clock to ask what time they open because we wanted to plan lunch there - I heard that it's not a bar and they open at 11:30. We arrived a moment after this hour, we had large backpacks with us so we took a seat at a table for 4 people (me and my fiancé) - I would like to emphasize that no one was in the restaurant. The waiter came and told us to move to a smaller table even though there were no other people. The food and drinks were very good - I don't want to miss it. Then people started to gather - each table got a welcome treat, unfortunately we didn't - maybe a moment after opening they didn't have ready yet. 2x service was added to the bill - 3 euros per person, which in my opinion should count from a larger group or one service to one bill - especially since we took 1 pizza for half

15/11/2025: We discovered Agavòs during a motorcycle trip, and arrived at this very picturesque place. The restaurant is nestled in this valley overlooking the sea, with the Sanctuary of Tindari to the side, making it truly beautiful! A refined menu, certainly carefully planned. I would have preferred a tasting menu, because in a place like this, you expect to try a little bit of everything. The chef's entrée was truly beautiful, a pleasant surprise. We were also well advised on the wine selection. The location is well-kept, the interiors and the outdoor veranda are truly beautiful.

22/05/2026: The appetizer was good, the first course was nothing special! But for an appetizer and a first course, drinking only water (not bottled), €31 is way too much! No written menu with prices, no receipt! The only redeeming feature is the place! But I don't think I'll be back!

17/05/2026: I've been visiting Sicily from Canada for years, my family and I have had many dinners at this restaurant, it's always a great place if you are looking for authentic siclian cuisine with incredible portions, you will not leave this place hungry. recently due to a family emergency I stayed in one of their B&B rooms they are renovated and very clean, to best describe this place you get amazing food, great lodging, great location with well kept grounds and most of all the owner Francesco is simply a great guy makes you feel right at home. thank you Francesco I truly appreciated your hospitality
