Exceptional cuisine and wonderful service! The owner and the entire staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and welcoming. Everything was delicious — from the wine to the desserts, every dish was prepared with great care and flavor. The shrimp pasta in the photo was especially outstanding — perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. We were especially impressed that they stayed after closing hours so we could finish our dinner comfortably without feeling rushed. Such hospitality is rare and truly memorable. We would be delighted to visit again!

We came here because they have clearly labeled vegan options. The tomato salad was simple but very good. The vegan gnocchi were nice but the pasta with pistachio was only ok, a bit flavorless. Service was ok. Prices are relatively high for what you get.

Everything is absolutely delicious and the maître d’ is quite friendly & accommodating. I gave 2 stars for the service because when one of the staff sat us down, he didn’t come back to check on us for about 15 minutes and when we asked for water, he just placed a bottle of water on the table without giving us glasses. It was only when another staff noticed it after 30 minutes that he offered us glasses.

We found this restaurant on Google Maps and, since it is vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance was fine, but the service was doing the bare minimum and occupied playing on their phones, neither friendly nor helpful, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The food itself was good, but the portions were quite small and rather expensive for what you get. To wash it all down, we had an espresso at the end, which by Italian standards was unfortunately pretty bad. Spare yourselves the expanse there are way better and cheaper options.

I dined at this restaurant on Valentine's Day and had a great time. They had a set menu, but the owner is always willing to accommodate guests' dietary needs (lactose-free, gluten-free), and in my case, he removed some ingredients I couldn't eat. I really appreciated that! The dishes were all delicious, well-prepared, and presented; the service was efficient, and the atmosphere was elegant. I will definitely be back.

15/04/2026: I like the idea of the asymptomatic aspiration to 5 stars. However this little gem of a restaurant in the otherwise gritty town of Catania with it's ill-fated history of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions IS EXCEPTIONAL. Gentile service, calm and pleasant atmosphere AND IMPORTANTLY GREAT FOOD, flavors, mouth feel and presentation.
25/02/2026: Excellent service! Great creative, tasty food, where you can feel the love and passion for food. All cooked with heart. Fully worth every penny!!

14/04/2026: On the recommendation of the B&B where we were staying, we booked a 5:00 PM dinner for two, one of whom was celiac. Despite the short notice, they were able to serve us excellent dishes, including gluten-free options, minimizing the difference between the dishes. The portions might be considered small, but given the complexity of the preparations and flavors, they're considered adequate. Everything was more than excellent, including the recommended wine.

Seby Sorbello's cuisine showcases each ingredient with great precision, without excess but with a well-defined personality. Sea and land interact harmoniously in every dish, expressed through balanced contrasts and refined textures. The spaghetti is excellent, intense and balanced, as is the dessert, delicate and never cloying, an elegant conclusion to the meal. The presentation is also meticulously crafted, simple and refined. The service is attentive, discreet, and always punctual, while the wine list intelligently complements each course. A restaurant that combines technique, flavor, and identity, leaving a lasting and pleasant memory. Recommended for those seeking refined yet authentic cuisine.
