21/02/2026: Terrible experience. I've rarely had such a bad pizza. It doesn't taste like Italian or even American pizza: it's a flavorless mass with a dough that's a compliment. The whole thing is swamped by an excess of cheese that covers any flavor, making the dish cloying and lacking in character. Besides the terrible quality, the organization is a total letdown: one pizza arrived 20 minutes later than the others. The only bright spot was the waitresses, who were really nice, but unfortunately two people can't manage the place, especially when the kitchen produces dishes like this. Highly not recommended.
10/01/2026: The pizza is very good, but the menu is heavily focused on American cuisine. They offer fries and American-style pizza. There's no salad! At least they have local wine by the glass.

12/03/2026: March 12th. We came for our second visit because we had really enjoyed it the first time. The atmosphere was awful. A table of 14 was literally screaming, especially the children. We blame the service. When we arrived, there was no one else there, and they seated us right next to that table! Even though there are two floors! They could have seated the customers on the floor below! Shameful! It's a huge restaurant, and they cram everyone into the same area. It's no wonder there are more and more "No Kids" restaurants and hotels. We left with our heads about to explode and indigestion. We will never go back!
21/10/2025: Good pizzas, ideal for families. They also do karaoke. Good prices.

26/12/2025: Yet you have all the potential (large indoor and outdoor spaces, parking, a well-known location), but you miss out on the focal points of a restaurant: the quality of the food, especially during an aperitivo 😬. A meager plate consisting of mediocre-quality ready-to-oven rustici, a homemade tramezzino, and a potato pizza plated uncooked! All this for 15 euros when in the area there were places offering freshly fried pettole and a quality aperitivo for the same price. An experience not to be repeated.
25/12/2025: Service provided by one waiter in particular was very poor and unprofessional.

06/08/2025: The location is unquestionably nice, Etna surroundings are amazing. The restaurant itself is nice and a kind of minimalist. Food is excellent and the local beers are very intriguing. Service is punctual and prices are more than acceptable.

26/10/2025: Friendly staff who feel like they've known you forever. The place is clean, but stylistically, it's overdone with stucco, fake plants, and tasteless plastic-covered walls. The four pizzas were well-cooked, far too thin, with decent toppings, but expensive compared to market prices and the type of product. The 1-liter bottles of water, three euros each, are exorbitant, and then there's the service charge, 2.50 per person... Considering the location, which is far from everywhere, and the quality/price ratio, I don't know if I'd go back... plus, families with rude and noisy children.

14/03/2026: The lady forgot about us. We waited over an hour for our pizza. The Margherita pizza from the "offer" was a bit small and burnt on the bottom. I don't recommend it.
12/03/2026: We were a group of four. Three of us agreed that the pizzas we ordered were not authentic and tasty. We have been in too many pizzerias before and we expect a high level of authentic Italian pizza. Not impressed at all. Service was some kind of neglected.
The better option was to go to L’antica pizzeria da Michele again a few blocks away.

30/11/2025: Recommended by colleagues but I thought they were exaggerating in their compliments to the staff and the Chef. We started with homemade appetizers of all kinds. The first two arrived very tasty and we took the second one home. We were very full. Next time we will go there to try the pizza and I hope we find the fireplace lit because the room is very characteristic.

07/03/2026: I went there because the bar next door was closed for vacation. I wish I'd never done that. First of all, the staff is among the rudest I've ever seen. They don't bring you water by default. Actually, no. They only bring you two glasses of water, even though there are 10 of us at the table. Only two. Because otherwise you'd have to buy a whole bottle. They got my order wrong, and even though I pointed it out, the waiter arrogantly declared it was my fault because I hadn't been clear with my order. Madness. I'll never set foot in there again.

12/07/2025: Mi sono accomodato al tavolo con un parente, intento a mangiare una granita. Il cameriere è stato di una lentezza nauseante. Non riusciva a prendere multiple prenotazioni. Abbiamo atteso un'ora seduti al tavolo, sembrava ci ignorasse. Pessima esperienza, personale scarso
30/06/2025: Teníamos grandes expectativas para Prestipino, pero terminó siendo la experiencia más decepcionante de toda nuestra estancia en Catania. Dondequiera que fuimos, la gente era increíblemente amable y acogedor, pero aquí, era todo lo contrario.
Todos los camareros parecían molestos y eran antipáticos.
Es una pena, porque el lugar podría tener potencial, pero la actitud del personal arruinó completamente la experiencia. Definitivamente no recomendaría.
