27/07/2026: Good, classic McDonald's food. The staff were super nice and helpful, except for one manager who only knew how to yell and give orders to everyone without moving from the register.

22/07/2026: Tonight, we ordered two takeout menus, went home, and there was only one sandwich missing! Of course, I didn't go back for a single sandwich! What a shame, though!

23/12/2025: Giarre, CT. Piazza Duomo, 15. It's located in the premises formerly occupied by "Osteria Bonadies," which we frequented quite often years ago. Intrigued by the new management, or simply by the new sign, a few days ago we ordered some takeout pizzas. They weren't exactly exceptional, but they were quite good.

13/09/2025: I arrived at the restaurant, politely asking to be seated. I sat down and ordered a Margherita and a Campagnola. After about 15 minutes, the pizzas were brought to us. They didn't look or smell good, but the worst came when my dad and I tasted them. The dough tasted like yeast, the sauce was sour, and the mozzarella had no flavor. The worst pizza of my life, truly awful. They'll never remember me again.

04/07/2026: Very lazy we asked for a pizza and they answered yes then very tired then my daughter had taken a can of tea where did you get it the colleague who was talking asleep told them leave it then I told them leave it if they are lazy and don't want to work I won't go there

07/05/2026: Updated May 2026: I'll never order pizza delivery from them again. Sorry, but that's the way it is. I'll avoid mentioning the problems. Eating there or picking it up is fine. We avoid delivery. They always say it can happen... But always, always, always? Working in a factory, if you make a mistake, you get a fine, and a simple "sorry, sorry, sorry" isn't enough... Too bad, I liked it. But for delivery, avoid, avoid!!!! In fact, I see several reviews that talk about the same thing 🤷... Review from last year 2024/25: Takeout pizzas are average, not bad. Friendly. Parking is available. Sometimes they're a little skimpy on the mozzarella. I recommend picking them up rather than having them deliver. The service is expensive. And they're often very careless.

28/05/2026: I have never been to such a dirty place. When I walked in, I felt like I was on the set of a West End movie. It was a surreal experience. I rate it 2 and not 1 because it is rare for a place to provide such a lasting experience. The furniture from my childhood in the 80s, just in a worn condition. TIME STAND STILL HERE.

27/05/2026: You can leave your luggage here all day. It only costs €20 for multiple bags, and Cristina is very helpful. The ice cream is delicious.

14/04/2026: I don't like writing bad reviews, but I'll write about this place. My girlfriend and I came to this bar at 12:30 and ordered a set lunch for 10 euros. My girlfriend didn't want to eat, she just wanted a cappuccino, but the bartender started yelling that this lunch can't be shared between two people. We told him it was one lunch, that we weren't going to split it between the two of us. He called the cashier and they started telling us together that we had to order two lunches. What do you mean? What kind of bartender is going to tell us what to eat and who should eat it? If you came as a couple, then you should eat together, you can't just have coffee? Horrible place, the bartender is a total jerk.

18/10/2025: I do not recommend the food is terrible, it stinks, there was no alcohol in the Aperol, the fish soup was disgusting, I vomited after it, I was sick and so were my friends

15/10/2025: Came in for a drink, the front man with the braids (sorry didn’t get his name!) is fantastic, really welcoming, nice beer and decent price. Cares about the presentation and told someone off for littering outside his bar. Gave us a free snack to apologise the kitchen was closed for technical reasons. 10/10

15/10/2025: Very nice people working here. I felt like I met some new friends. The pizza and salad I ordered were very good too, but I mostly enjoyed the service.

14/09/2025: There were four of us eating rubbery sandwiches, spoiled ingredients, and burnt pizzas with no dough. High prices. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK

23/11/2025: We were here just for a drink. A very friendly young waitress in excellent English recommended us some excellant local beers and make us feel at home. Which we later discovered is very rare in Catania.

06/02/2026: The two guys who were working on the evening of February 6th were fantastic. Perfect service and delicious dinner.

26/01/2026: I ordered a package of toast, Coke, and chips on Deliveroo at 1:46 PM. The delivery driver arrives at 3 PM, delivers the toast, and when I ask, "Where are the chips and Coke?" he says, "I said they were included, but THEY SAID NO." I PAID FOR THE chips and Coke!!!! THEY NEVER ARRIVED.... SHAME!!! If I'd only had one toast, I would have paid less... I tried calling a NON-EXISTENT NUMBER!!! I will NEVER ORDER AGAIN and I will not recommend it... I'm not giving 0 because the toast was large and good (after 2 hours, even a shoe sole probably tastes good!! I'm making light of it, saying it's better...)

26/04/2026: Very unpleasant and rude restaurant owner, he actually kicked us out of the restaurant, saying it was closed if we're having trouble understanding. We had only asked for a coffee... honestly, the bar seemed open since there were people sitting there... the door was open, the tables were set. Absolutely not recommended!!!

09/04/2026: Bad service. The waiter was alone, rude.. and what was funny cause tell he’s the only one at the restaurant. Looks like he served and preparing also the food. Find another place! To bad cause location are right in the city center.

25/07/2026: On Saturdays and Sundays, they have an evening meal after booking for Saturday. I naively called half an hour before to see if they were preparing dinner, and so they decided not to open the pool at all because the number of people wasn't enough. Organization is absolutely 0.

20/07/2026: Villa of terrors, the dirty pool and the gold to avoid showing the damage they threw chlorine that as soon as you got out of the water we had green costumes not to mention the poor organization for the straio... 300 people they squeeze everyone in tightly... then at the bar after you spend money you ask for a glass of water they give you negative because the gold they are not there to give glasses of water after you spend the money but anyway everything should be thrown away

17/05/2026: Passing through with my wife for a quick snack before leaving for Puglia.... we stopped by chance.... we ordered baked pasta after making us wait more than half an hour the pasta arrived cold and tasted sour.... I reported this to one of the very rude employees of the place saying among other things that the pasta was good and that it was not sour at all, in short I had to pay for two portions of cold and sour pasta, terrible experience! Hygiene less than zero! Rudeness and very poor food! To be avoided!!!

05/04/2026: I'm giving it one star only because it can't be given less. The only positive thing about this place is the location, which is on a green area, even if it's quite poorly maintained. The food was inedible. The side dishes were decent, but the first course was flavorless. All the sauces were definitely store-bought, but the poorest ones. The second course was mystery meat; we didn't know what animal we were eating, and 3/4 of the dining room left their plates half full, obviously all served cold. The dessert included in the price was a €10 Colomba cake, sliced ​​and served for the whole dining room. And finally, they wanted €27 per person, all in cash, because they don't have a POS terminal... in 2026, it's illegal for a business not to have a POS terminal, and they collected everything in CASH. Horrible business, it should be closed down.

12/04/2026: The food was excellent, but typical of a buffet (not the best). The service wasn't tested very well, having had a buffet, but it was still available. Atmosphere: one of the nicest places.
