15/08/2025: If I could give zero stars, I would… A truly disappointing experience for the Ferragosto dinner. The buffet service was terribly organized: endless lines, and whoever arrived first got to eat. The crowd was unbearable, with people pushing from all sides. We found ourselves packed in like sardines, with plates bumping into each other and hair flying in the food. Let alone the quality of the food, which I can't even begin to describe. Only focaccia and pizza were delivered to the table, but only upon request and over a half-hour late: we even ate fruit and then received our pizza. Such poor organization completely ruins the experience, especially on a holiday.

26/10/2025: Friendly staff who feel like they've known you forever. The place is clean, but stylistically, it's overdone with stucco, fake plants, and tasteless plastic-covered walls. The four pizzas were well-cooked, far too thin, with decent toppings, but expensive compared to market prices and the type of product. The 1-liter bottles of water, three euros each, are exorbitant, and then there's the service charge, 2.50 per person... Considering the location, which is far from everywhere, and the quality/price ratio, I don't know if I'd go back... plus, families with rude and noisy children.

02/06/2025: Lascio questa recensione con l'amaro in bocca perché avevo un bel ricordo di questo pub negli anni passati. Sono andata a bere un drink insieme a mio marito e ci hanno fatto accomodare in sala, dove eravamo gli unici clienti. Ho notato subito il rettangolino di carta che ci hanno messo a mo' di tovaglia ma non pensavo ci avrebbero fatto pagare 3 euro di coperto per quello, anche perché avevamo solo preso 2 drink. Al momento di pagare, abbiamo chiesto EDUCATAMENTE per quale motivo stessimo pagando quei 3 euro di coperto quando non era stato offerto nessun servizio di allestimento del tavolo(=tovaglia, tovagliolo, posate, piatti, bicchieri). Se il proprietario ci avesse risposto altrettanto educamente spiegandoci magari che il coperto è obbligatorio e serve a coprire le spese del locale, del personale etc avremmo pagato senza battere ciglio. Invece il proprietario ci ha trattati come dei pezzenti invitandoci ad andarcene senza pagare e accusandoci di creare discussioni, alzando la voce e con un fare maleducato, interrompendoci più volte. Mi dispiace per il personale evidentemente in imbarazzo per la reazione esagerata del proprietario. Chiaramente abbiamo pagato i nostri drink come giusto che sia, ma avrei preferito lasciare quei 3 euro come mancia alla cameriera che è sempre stata gentile.

09/01/2026: I bought 14 battered arancini brought to Florence. The packaging was terrible and when cooked they opened up. The inside was a ragu sauce that was beyond words, just pieces of dried meat and lard that were truly disgusting. Plus, the place I always bought them was closed. Think carefully before selling this rubbish.

21/10/2025: I bought some panzerotti, the dough inside was so raw that it could be re-kneaded.

13/08/2025: The pizza is huge and, above all, delicious. The service has some flaws. Overall, a highly recommended place!

13/12/2025: Terrible pizzas!! No cheese, all burnt on the bottom, and bloated on the sides... a truly ruined dinner! We might as well have it at a pizzeria for the price we paid. Not recommended!!

26/12/2025: Yet you have all the potential (large indoor and outdoor spaces, parking, a well-known location), but you miss out on the focal points of a restaurant: the quality of the food, especially during an aperitivo 😬. A meager plate consisting of mediocre-quality ready-to-oven rustici, a homemade tramezzino, and a potato pizza plated uncooked! All this for 15 euros when in the area there were places offering freshly fried pettole and a quality aperitivo for the same price. An experience not to be repeated.

05/01/2026: I eat kebabs very often, sometimes they're better, sometimes they're worse, but I haven't eaten ONE THIS BAD in a LONG TIME . I REALLY THROW AWAY THE ENTIRE PORTION!!! And I respect food, it happens to me very rarely... unfortunately, I'm hungry today... courier glovo come for 5 minutes after take and meat was unfortunately cold ..

30/09/2025: IT'S DISGUSTING! I FOUND AN ANT AND A DEAD SPIDER INSIDE THE KEBAB! And the Monster had expired. It was my favorite once, but after this experience, I definitely won't go there again.

14/01/2026: Our pasta Norma was delicious. Service mechanical. No smile, no warmth. Small glass of wine and I resent the cover charge being added to the bill.

20/01/2026: I always hate to give negative reviews, especially to places I frequent on average, but this isn't the first time I've had a McDrive delivery service deliver less than I ordered and paid for—sometimes it's the fries, sometimes it's the treats. I can understand, though I don't justify, when the volume of customers is huge, but yesterday, January 19, there wasn't even that excuse.

It's a pleasant place to sit, watch the world go by, and enjoy the city's historical scenery. Service: reasonable. It functions correctly, without any major positive or negative highlights, as expected for a spot frequented by tourists. Food and drinks: • The gelateria is very good, with quality ice cream. • The sweets are well-made and pleasing. • It's a good choice for a coffee or a drink, especially during a break between visits. Price and value for money: The prices are a bit high, clearly influenced by the location. Considering you're in one of Catania's main tourist attractions, the cost may make sense. However, compared to other cafes and pastry shops in the city, the value for money is lower. Verdict It's worth a visit for a coffee, an ice cream, or a drink, enjoying the view of the Duomo and the atmosphere of the square. It's not a place for longer meals or in-depth gastronomic experiences, but it works well as a strategic stop on a tourist itinerary.

03/01/2026: From outside looks like regular tourists place, but we were amazed by quality and taste of coffees and sweets. Good prices also.

11/08/2025: Il ristorante era molto accogliente. I nostri primi erano molto buoni. I secondi anch'essi buoni. I dolci buonissimi, in particolare la crema al pistacchio.

06/08/2025: The location is unquestionably nice, Etna surroundings are amazing. The restaurant itself is nice and a kind of minimalist. Food is excellent and the local beers are very intriguing. Service is punctual and prices are more than acceptable.

30/11/2025: Recommended by colleagues but I thought they were exaggerating in their compliments to the staff and the Chef. We started with homemade appetizers of all kinds. The first two arrived very tasty and we took the second one home. We were very full. Next time we will go there to try the pizza and I hope we find the fireplace lit because the room is very characteristic.

17/08/2025: One of the worst pizzerias I've ever been to. The pizzas arrived 2 hours after ordering. They should compensate us. They're really poorly organised. If you manage a place like this, you'll close down first. Not to mention the squalid bathroom. The only things that really save the place are the really kind service guys. Not recommended.

29/07/2025: Very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. A quiet evening away from the chaos, enlivened by karaoke entertainment, which featured some truly wonderful singers, and it was a pleasure to dine with their voices in the background. Prices weren't inflated, service was very fast, and parking was excellent. I highly recommend it.

23/12/2025: Giarre, CT. Piazza Duomo, 15. It's located in the premises formerly occupied by "Osteria Bonadies," which we frequented quite often years ago. Intrigued by the new management, or simply by the new sign, a few days ago we ordered some takeout pizzas. They weren't exactly exceptional, but they were quite good.

13/09/2025: I arrived at the restaurant, politely asking to be seated. I sat down and ordered a Margherita and a Campagnola. After about 15 minutes, the pizzas were brought to us. They didn't look or smell good, but the worst came when my dad and I tasted them. The dough tasted like yeast, the sauce was sour, and the mozzarella had no flavor. The worst pizza of my life, truly awful. They'll never remember me again.
