15/10/2025: Very nice people working here. I felt like I met some new friends. The pizza and salad I ordered were very good too, but I mostly enjoyed the service.

14/09/2025: There were four of us eating rubbery sandwiches, spoiled ingredients, and burnt pizzas with no dough. High prices. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK

06/02/2026: The two guys who were working on the evening of February 6th were fantastic. Perfect service and delicious dinner.

26/01/2026: I ordered a package of toast, Coke, and chips on Deliveroo at 1:46 PM. The delivery driver arrives at 3 PM, delivers the toast, and when I ask, "Where are the chips and Coke?" he says, "I said they were included, but THEY SAID NO." I PAID FOR THE chips and Coke!!!! THEY NEVER ARRIVED.... SHAME!!! If I'd only had one toast, I would have paid less... I tried calling a NON-EXISTENT NUMBER!!! I will NEVER ORDER AGAIN and I will not recommend it... I'm not giving 0 because the toast was large and good (after 2 hours, even a shoe sole probably tastes good!! I'm making light of it, saying it's better...)

26/04/2026: Very unpleasant and rude restaurant owner, he actually kicked us out of the restaurant, saying it was closed if we're having trouble understanding. We had only asked for a coffee... honestly, the bar seemed open since there were people sitting there... the door was open, the tables were set. Absolutely not recommended!!!

09/04/2026: Bad service. The waiter was alone, rude.. and what was funny cause tell he’s the only one at the restaurant. Looks like he served and preparing also the food. Find another place! To bad cause location are right in the city center.

15/10/2025: Came in for a drink, the front man with the braids (sorry didn’t get his name!) is fantastic, really welcoming, nice beer and decent price. Cares about the presentation and told someone off for littering outside his bar. Gave us a free snack to apologise the kitchen was closed for technical reasons. 10/10

23/11/2025: We were here just for a drink. A very friendly young waitress in excellent English recommended us some excellant local beers and make us feel at home. Which we later discovered is very rare in Catania.

03/09/2025: A coffee costs €2.50, as if we were at Punta Penia 🤭 100 meters away it costs less than half. A perfectly normal bar in the city, to be honest, is a bit shabby, served by an old lady who, with all the good will in my opinion, physically couldn't manage a bar like this, which is also quite large. If it were run by young and brilliant staff, it would be a completely different story. I spent about €14 for breakfast: a bombardino, two coffees, and two croissants.

15/08/2025: Rude staff with excessive prices (two bottles of water at the counter cost €2.40) and they refused to give us a receipt. Only after several requests and paying by credit card did they finally do so, calling us rude names. Don't go to this bar.

08/01/2026: The food is good, but the real problem is the lazy staff who seem to be doing you a favor by stuffing your sandwich. Sandwich with 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese: €2.50

The food was inedible. The side dishes were decent, but the first course was flavorless. All the sauces were definitely store-bought, but the poorest ones. The second course was mystery meat; we didn't know what animal we were eating, and 3/4 of the dining room left their plates half full, obviously all served cold. The dessert included in the price was a €10 Colomba cake, sliced ​​and served for the whole dining room. And finally, they wanted €27 per person, all in cash, because they don't have a POS terminal... in 2026, it's illegal for a business not to have a POS terminal, and they collected everything in CASH. Horrible business, it should be closed down.

07/01/2026: I didn't want to believe the past reviews. It was a nightmare New Year's Eve dinner. The room was packed with tables so narrow you couldn't pass, and the waiters were passing the dishes around because they couldn't fit between the tables. Aside from the Coke, the wine and sparkling wine were of extremely poor quality. I don't want to talk about the menu. The music was very mediocre in a small, crowded room. The only thing I've resolved to do is never go down that street again.

They use this as a tactic to avoid answering questions about the food or the prices. • No Menus: We order somethings and instead, they just started bringing plates to the table that we never ordered - “extra upgrades” • The Bill: They brought out the most expensive items on the hidden menu— premium meats—without ever disclosing the cost. When the check arrived, it was astronomical. It’s a calculated scheme to exploit tourists who don’t know the local language or typical prices. There are plenty of authentic, honest restaurants nearby—don't waste your money or your evening here.

Poor-quality food, badly cooked and burned, embarrassing service (the waiter eats with the customers). Burnt dishes served upside down... All to cheat the customer. PAID FULL PRICE, RUN AWAY!!!
