29/12/2024: Sono rimasto profondamente deluso dall'organizzazione del quarantesimo compleanno di mia Moglie. Il locale prometteva un allestimento personalizzato e un menù concordato nei minimi dettagli, ma la realtà è stata ben diversa. L'allestimento era inesistente: un unico tavolo vuoto al centro della sala, lontano da qualsiasi atmosfera festosa. Gli antipasti sono arrivati a singhiozzo, come se stessero alimentando un animale domestico, e non un gruppo di invitati a una festa. Il menù bambini è stato servito allo stesso modo, senza alcuna spiegazione, creando confusione e disagio. Il dj, poi, è stato la ciliegina sulla torta senza microfono e senza la classica canzone di buon compleanno per il momento della torta. Parlando della torta, quella vera e propria non è mai arrivata. Al suo posto, un improbabile assemblaggio di mignon a forma di 40 con 4 candele, che tra l'altro è stato corretto solo all'ultimo momento (inizialmente avevano fatto un 50!). E anche questo surrogato di torta è arrivato con un ritardo di ben 20 minuti rispetto all'orario previsto. In conclusione, è stato un evento da dimenticare. Un servizio scadente, un'organizzazione pessima e un'esperienza complessivamente negativa pagata profumatamente. Non consiglio assolutamente questo locale a chi cerca di organizzare un evento importante.

27/12/2024: Despite the negative reviews, we decided to return to this property, having had a positive experience in the past during the celebration of friends' birthdays. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed. The food was of mediocre quality: the cheese platter was ordinary and the crostini, presented as bruschetta, were unappealing. The second course of meat was roughly cooked: dry, rubbery and cold meatballs, and overly cooked, dry and equally cold rolls. The environment was also not welcoming. The room was cold, and the only air conditioner present was not enough to heat the entire space. The lighting was insufficient and made the atmosphere even less pleasant. Furthermore, the service was disappointing and not very attentive. Several times we had to request missing crockery, not only because they ran out, but also because they were not provided when the dishes were presented. The fruit skewers, which were supposed to accompany the dessert and which were indicated on the menu, were not even brought, but they were still charged to the bill. Furthermore, at the end of the evening, they had not organized the bottle of prosecco planned for the final toast. Only after our explicit request did they manage to recover one, but with great surprise, when it was time to settle the bill, they also charged us the 30.00 euros for the bottle, despite having pointed out all the shortcomings and the terrible quality of the service. A truly shameful and miserable attitude that made the experience even more disappointing. Not only will we never return, but we will share this unpleasant experience with friends, relatives and acquaintances, strongly not recommending this facility to anyone who wants to avoid an evening of poor service and dissatisfaction.

28/01/2025: For me now a fixed point of reference when I work in the Catania area, I choose this Hotel with the company for its excellent location in the area. Large parking lot, structure and rooms a little dated, but really large and equipped with everything you need. The staff is very kind and professional. We usually opt for the half-board formula, and the evening restaurant service works well. Abundant dishes and tasty food, breakfast is a little too spartan.

16/01/2025: I am extremely thankful for Sigonella Inn Hotel. They were absolutely wonderful to me during my extended stay, and I will always remember the good times I had there. I gave the rooms a "3", just because I would have liked a larger television, because the room is so large. The bathroom shower some deep cleaning, and I always feel like at times, the AC was cooling the room quickly. The room was very big, though, and it also had plenty of space to hang my clothes and put my personal belongings. I was "wow"d by the service. The staff was very friendly and extremely accomdating. Anything I needed or ask they provided. The owner should be very proud of his staff and how well they take care of their guest. Lastly, location. Sigh... I was conflicted on how to rate this. When you rent a hotel you already know the location. I enjoy the city. The hotel is close to. The hotel is close to my job, but far from the city. Even though it is not my ideal location, my balcony still had a wonderful view. My room also had a swimming pool view, which I am sure is great during the summer. In addition to the great view from the balcony, the hotel is close to two decent restaurants and has a restaurant in the building. It also has plenty of parking, although it wasn't my idea location. Everything else made up for it. I would stay there again if, for some reason I needed to.

25/01/2025: Siamo andati con amici, allora 15 minuti d’attesa per ordinare mentre alla cassa la signorina si faceva i selfie, finito d’ordinare alle 22,24 le pizze sono arrivate alle 23.15 capisco che era sabato ma in pizzeria c’eravamo solo noi e un altro tavolo!

01/03/2025: VERY SLOW service. IT NEEDS FAST AND CUTE STAFF. They brought us the bread with the salad, the bread was broken (not cut) and also stained red, we don't know if it was blood or lipstick. However, I don't think we will go back again, I'm very sorry because once upon a time the food was good.

18/01/2025: We went on a Saturday night full of karaoke We had a great time, the fried foods were spectacular like the pasta and the pizza. The menu is very rich and we also find second courses and desserts which we will definitely try next time we return.

18/03/2025: Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di pranzare una domenica in questo locale seguendo i consigli degli amici di tripadvisor. Ambiente molto rustico con molti oggetti alle parte che ricordano vari posti del mondo. Il loro menù varia a secondo della disponibilità dei prodotti locali. In cinque abbiamo ordinato un antipasto locale ( salumi, olive e formaggi del territorio). un tortino di cavolfiore con fonduta di formaggio ed un carciofo ripieno di mollica e cacio ragusano. A seguire sue porzioni di tagliatelle al ragù bianco di coniglio e pistacchio di Bronte, una di maccheroni al ragù di suino nero dei Nebrodi, una porzione di macco di fave con crostini di pane ed uno stinco di Lucio al forno con patate ( piatto dedicato a Lucio Dalla ). Tutto molto buono anche perchè occorre sottolineare che sia le paste che il pane sono prodotti freschi realizzati da loro. Da bere due birre alla spina ed una bottiglia di Murgo Etna rosso. Il pranzo si è concluso con dei dessert, amari e caffè. Sensazioni molto positive sia per la location, per il servizio ed il personale e per la bontà dei piatti proposti. Prezzo finale nella norma, insomma una bella scoperta.

02/03/2025: El lugar está lleno de carácter y situado en una calle principal con una pequeña zona de aparcamiento. La comida es súper buena y hay una buena lista de vinos locales! La gente también es agradable, incluso si pueden resultar un poco groseros!

15/03/2025: Historic place in front of the Cathedral of Giarre, delicious pizza even on a Saturday evening, friendly service, a slow snack but acceptable on a Saturday. when I booked they were very courteous in immediately accepting the request of a celiac diner, who was satisfied with her request... furthermore, the soap dispenser in the bathroom wasn't working and they immediately took care of my request We will definitely return Must try!
