16/11/2025: The negative reviews are incomprehensible: Our experience at this charming place was completely positive. We ordered pizzas and were pleasantly surprised by the choice of ingredients: they use zero-mile Sicilian flour from the Sant'Alfio mill, and you can taste the use of high-quality artisanal Italian mortadella and prosciutto. The pizzas were incredibly light and flavorful, with a perfect crust. The value for money is excellent, given that pizzas of this quality would cost at least double elsewhere. I also tried the Sicilian pizza, which I found dry and very good; the only complaint was that it was lightly topped on the inside, perhaps due to its non-standard size.

This is evidenced by the large number of locals who order takeout. The place is clean and well-organized. There's no table service, but for a deli, it's more than adequate.

30/06/2025: Anyone who knew this place during the historic Centamore management knows exactly what I'm talking about: it was a point of reference for good food, hospitality and an authentic atmosphere. Today, unfortunately, absolutely nothing of all this remains. The new management has completely overturned the identity of the place and not for the better. Once upon a time, you came here with the certainty of finding quality, kindness, professionalism. Today you leave only with the feeling of having wasted time and money. The service is approximate, often improvised, with staff who seem more annoyed than happy to welcome you. The courtesy of the past has been replaced by arrogance and a total lack of organization. In recent times, the situation has worsened further: the place has transformed without warning into a sandwich shop, completely erasing any connection with real catering. But the even more serious thing is that they didn't even deign to inform those who had booked for events, banquets or ceremonies. Customers left disoriented, without respect, without a phone call, without anything. As for the food… better not get your hopes up. What is served today has nothing to do with the cuisine that once made this place special. Dishes without soul, without identity, without attention. It is an insult to the memory of what this place represented. Not even the most mediocre of establishments would have the courage to propose certain things. The problem is not only the decline in quality, but the attitude of those who now manage it: presumptuous, inattentive, incapable of listening. A place that was a symbol of hospitality has transformed into something empty, impersonal, and sadly forgettable. A word of advice? If you have good memories tied to this place, leave them where they are: don't ruin them by returning. The real Casalrosato no longer exists. And what is there now, frankly, does not even deserve the name.

20/10/2025: Beautiful place with a sea view, classic Sicilian lunch with good fish and to finish a very good strawberry sorbet, service a little serious but efficient, a few more smiles wouldn't hurt, but highly recommended

28/09/2025: The owner was rude and unfriendly. Even though his place was empty, we decided to sit down (eight people). We drank a few beers, Cokes, and water, but perhaps because the bill wasn't too high for him, he decided to tell us that if we only had water to drink, we could go. I've never heard anything like it. Never again.

27/10/2025: On Friday evening, a group of friends and I went to try the new American-style pizza. In my opinion, it's not a pizza everyone will like because the crust is very crispy. We loved it; we tried several flavors, and they were all delicious and well-seasoned. The service is a bit so-so, but the atmosphere is nice, the pizza is excellent, and the prices are fair. What more could you ask for?! ☺️

23/10/2025: A healthy food restaurant. The place is very nicely decorated. The service is fast and professional. They offer salads, soups and a few other dishes. My colleague ordered minestrone and the soup was very tasty with broccoli dominating. I ordered a salad that contained arugula, walnuts, spinach and grains. Although the ingredients were great, the salad was hard to eat because it was dry and tasteless. It lacked dressing and salt. If nothing else, serve it with lemon and olive oil so that guests can finish the salad themselves.

20/10/2025: This is a great place to buy fresh juices. The prices are affordable. The interior is very nice. The service is fast.

31/07/2025: It's nice that the bakery opens at 6:00, but I was leaving Catania early in the morning and wanted to buy something for the road. Unfortunately, after 6:20, there was nothing fresh, and aside from leftovers, the place was generally empty, so I was very disappointed. The baked goods might be very good, but I didn't get to try them :(

05/06/2025: Ho pranzato due domeniche fa in questo buon ristorante situato nel centro della città, dietro la Via Etnea. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla qualità del cibo proposto e dal servizio veloce e cortese (dal momento che purtroppo avevo l'aereo a breve). Ho preso maccheroni alla norma, cotoletta e torta al limone. Il ristorante ha una ricca carta di pietanze sia di carne che di pesce. Mi sento di consigliarlo a chi viene in città, considerando che non è facile trovare nella zona ristoranti altrettanto buoni. Spero io stesso di tornarci presto.

18/10/2025: Simply the best takeaway pizza I've ever eaten, not only plentiful (I've never been full in my life with a single pizza and I left a "slice" of this one) but with quality ingredients, well cooked and well seasoned, highly recommended.
