17/03/2024: Phenomenal. The food was amazing ... the sort of amazing you'll remember for the rest of your life. The service was at the same level. If you are in Sig for work (stationed ... I'm looking at you Navy folk) or stationed there, you'll need to give this place it's due. It's that simple. Bring your Google Translate or someone that knows Italian well. You won't be disappointed. Open at 7pm, but if you arrive this early, you or your party will like have the whole place to yourselves.

07/08/2024: Located in a busy Piazza in Catania, the place is always full. They have a variety of food. We wanted to try Sicilian food and things were average. Prices are very competitive.

Gelato al pistacchio, semifreddo al pistacchio, 2 caffè al pistacchio....tutto eccezionale, servito anche con cura nella presentazione. Complimenti! Preciso anche che i servizi erano in ordine e puliti.

07/08/2024: I didn't think that in Inverigo (unknown country) a PIECE of tart and a small ginseng would cost me almost 6 euros. Here, moreover, a coffee at the counter costs like in MILAN... 1.30... ABSURD! Indeed, in various parts of Milan it costs 1.10, therefore less!

18/08/2024: Personally: Never again. If I could have given Zero Stars I would have done so. I'm only sorry to have read the reviews only after having consumed and paid, as already written in other reviews the smugness, arrogance and rudeness of the staff together with the very expensive prices make a big "I'll never come back here" to the bar. I paid €5 for a juice, not even in the center of Venice. (in a whiskey glass so let's imagine the large quantity, squeezed by hand by the poor bartender, we see that in 2024 there will be difficulties with electric juicers). Palermo beyond the various records as a city in 1st place for degradation and rubbish on the streets. it also wins the prize for the most expensive juice ever paid in all of Italy. Compliments. €26.40 for 3 pieces, 3 small donuts, 2 juices, 2 bottles of water and a slice of orange bread. Very expensive prices and I don't comment much on the "friendliness" of the staff, who go to the cashier and say hello and don't even say hello. The robust gentleman with glasses already mentioned in other negative reviews. Compliments to the bartender who placed the bottles of water on top of the rotisserie, obviously crushing the food underneath. I wonder how these people can still work with all the bars closing. After all, Palermo is always getting worse, it will never change and this flying breakfast is yet another proof of this. First and last time. Never see each other again, Bye bye.

06/08/2024: The beef was absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti was just as tasty. The service is impeccable, with very friendly and courteous staff. However, the ambiance leaves something to be desired, lacking life and atmosphere.

29/06/2024: I agree with the most recent reviews....Il Timo deserves a better rating. The service was exceptional, the food was top, and the atmosphere, enjoyable. Instead of driving to a restaurant, stick to Il Timo and take the 20-30 minutes you would be using to find parking to enjoy a relaxing aperitivo! Definitely recommended!

28/06/2024: The place was recommended by our host ( Catania City rooms) and turned out to be amazing. Two steps from Catania Centrale.Pasta with libster, pasta vongole-to die for. Good house wine, free malvasia and buisquite. Great family restaraunt full of licals. Highly recommended!
