31/08/2025: Pay attention to your bill. We don't eat like we used to.

30/08/2025: It's not ideal to dine on a sidewalk corner if there's a lot of people passing by. But believe me, everything we ordered didn't disappoint: authentic local flavors and excellently balanced dishes, with prices in line with quality and quantity. I recommend stopping by and trying the fish or horsemeat dishes; the appetizers are more than satisfying.

30/06/2025: Anyone who knew this place during the historic Centamore management knows exactly what I'm talking about: it was a point of reference for good food, hospitality and an authentic atmosphere. Today, unfortunately, absolutely nothing of all this remains. The new management has completely overturned the identity of the place and not for the better. Once upon a time, you came here with the certainty of finding quality, kindness, professionalism. Today you leave only with the feeling of having wasted time and money. The service is approximate, often improvised, with staff who seem more annoyed than happy to welcome you. The courtesy of the past has been replaced by arrogance and a total lack of organization. In recent times, the situation has worsened further: the place has transformed without warning into a sandwich shop, completely erasing any connection with real catering. But the even more serious thing is that they didn't even deign to inform those who had booked for events, banquets or ceremonies. Customers left disoriented, without respect, without a phone call, without anything. As for the food… better not get your hopes up. What is served today has nothing to do with the cuisine that once made this place special. Dishes without soul, without identity, without attention. It is an insult to the memory of what this place represented. Not even the most mediocre of establishments would have the courage to propose certain things. The problem is not only the decline in quality, but the attitude of those who now manage it: presumptuous, inattentive, incapable of listening. A place that was a symbol of hospitality has transformed into something empty, impersonal, and sadly forgettable. A word of advice? If you have good memories tied to this place, leave them where they are: don't ruin them by returning. The real Casalrosato no longer exists. And what is there now, frankly, does not even deserve the name.

13/05/2025: Midweek lunch, during a weekday I stopped for lunch break, quantity and quality of products, honest prices, the lady who serves the tables very kind and helpful.

01/08/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato in the Margherita was poor. Making a good Margherita is the foundation. The only positive note was the waitress (not the owner), who was kind and cheerful. I'm sorry to have to leave this review, but it's unfair to offer this type of product considering the price paid.

05/08/2025: Using the excuse of faulty air conditioning fins, we had to endure a no-air-conditioning dinner with the doors wide open, and mosquitoes made a feast for us and our children. The Capricciosa pizza was very sparse in ingredients. I was very disappointed. I don't think I'll return.

02/06/2025: The quality of the food is not the best, I am referring to the fish dishes, the poor menu has little choice and for the price you are going to pay I strongly recommend not going to this restaurant.

24/08/2025: Rustic atmosphere, really well done. Menu from €18 for adults + €10 for children (same as the large menu). Pizza selection + appetizers + drinks + wine + sodas, water + coffee + Zubibbu wine. All good food. Acceptable wait times. Music and karaoke (fortunately far away). I've seen many negative reviews on some sites, which honestly don't reflect reality. Service (not all), but some were rude, but that can be overlooked. Perhaps due to a lack of dough or a faulty oven, pasta dishes were served instead of pizzas (only a few pizzas arrived, so not a true Firo Pizza). Would I go again? YES. Because it's a worthwhile place.

03/06/2025: Negative experience because even though I booked well in advance, I was given a room with inferior features to what I booked and when I asked to have another room as a replacement, even though there was availability, I was asked for an additional payment. Shocking.

01/08/2025: We celebrated our son's baptism and first birthday. The venue was worthy and suitable. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. As I've read in other reviews, I can confirm several negative aspects, such as guests' requests for missing dishes and plates, which only arrive after a prompt response. In our case, some items previously agreed upon were not fully provided. Chairs were missing, and I was forced to request them even though seating had been agreed upon in advance (despite it being a buffet). There were supposed to be decorations at the entrance that were completely missing. The favors for the cake table were instead placed behind the bar, when we should have found everything set up (this was also agreed upon in advance). Some courses were generous, while others were, to say the least, "limited," which makes me pause, because I'm not naive (pointing to the guests' "over-eagerness" as an excuse, something that is literally unheard of, and not true). I emphasize the owner's helpfulness, but unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the shortcomings I noted, and I should point out, very regrettably, that several guests also pointed them out to me. We definitely won't be returning.

29/06/2025: I celebrated my son's 18th birthday and everything was perfect. I thank the hostess and the catering for their professionalism and kindness.

16/07/2025: Typical, homemade cuisine, everything very good, tasty, and plentiful. Takeaway is also very satisfying.

31/08/2025: Plus they tell me "you can't sit there, they're from A..." And I work with them! Rude! Who do they take me for? C! I get a little bottle of water for two euros! Two minutes later my colleague comes in for 1.30 the same little bottle!

25/08/2025: We had ice cream. My partner found a hair in it and showed it to the staff. They simply threw the cup in the trash. No refund, nor a new ice cream. Really, really bad, and kind of a disgrace.

19/08/2025: There used to be more choice and the place was cleaner.

11/08/2025: I've been there before, and it was superior, but this time it was very disappointing, considering that the quality should be better in the evening. The prawns couldn't be peeled, they were inedible. Very disappointing in all the courses. 15 oysters arrived, all taken by one person. For 24.90 per person, the contents were paltry, not even 10 euros per person. I hope it was an unfortunate accident, but if these are the conditions, I will never go there again.

13/07/2025: Tonight we're having brioche granitas. It's not our first time there, and we've usually had a great time, even for important events. But tonight (and I can confirm this has been true for a few weeks now), they sold us the brioche that was at least a few days old, reheated, dry underneath, and stringy, as they say here in Catania. The granita had no discernible flavors other than a stale taste.

21/08/2025: First and foremost, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner and the counter staff. Secondly, but absolutely essential and indispensable, is the quality of the products: from the ice cream to the well-stocked pastries. I have no shortage of pastry shops near my house, but I prefer to travel a few extra kilometers to shop here!

12/07/2025: Miglior location a Catania e provincia dove si cena e si balla, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimale, servizio veloce, professionale e cordiale, pista e musica eccellente sia all'aperto che in sala, pizza di qualità e possibilità di variare anche con altre pietanze, sono compresi assaggio di primi, patatine e d'estate granite e brioche, il fiore all'occhiello le graffe a fine serata. Tutto questo grazie a Mario e Silvana l'essenza del locale.
