08/10/2025: I'm not even going to rate the food; it wasn't good enough to make me turn a blind eye to the thing that had previously put me off any desire to eat it anyway: the price. I paid €14.50 for two regular kebabs with just meat, chips, and basic sauces, and no, I didn't include any drinks. Prices like that in a town of 40,000 inhabitants, when in Milan, Rome, Turin, or anywhere else in the province of Catania, even the best kebab shops never go above €4.50-5. It's hilarious how I have a long-standing clientele that shows no signs of diminishing; on the contrary, you won't see me again.

10/08/2025: Excellent sandwiches, very good, the cheese sauce is a delight, my favorite, the girl who makes the sandwiches is very good, professional and every time I order by phone in the end everything is right, something that never happens in other places, compliments also to the owners, a warm greeting to the great uncle Mario who now rightly enjoys his well-deserved retirement

25/09/2025: Worst experience ever. Non-existent welcome, awkward service with staff who didn't even understand Italian and made it difficult to even order. The food? Poor, frozen, and overpriced. We ordered an aperitif and it was served with several items missing; when we pointed this out, we received charred bruschetta (inedible). In fact, instead of the sliced ​​beef, they brought us just any old meat, passing it off as such: a complete and utter mockery. Not to mention the sky-high bill for such subpar food. After our complaints, they made us pay, not even offering a bitter apology. A place to absolutely avoid.

01/10/2025: I still don’t know where it went wrong, there were so many things going on and going wrong. We were referred, so my expectations were high. We were greeted by someone I would call the ‘village clownesk person’, singing along to the, increasingly getting louder, music on the other side of the street. A normal conversation became impossible after ‘secondi’. For desert I ordered pistachio tiramisu, you would think you can’t go wrong there on Sicily. It came out frozen… our waiter, the ‘clownesk person’, dismissed my complaint, but took it away anyway. It came back to me straight out of the microwave! The topping cooking and running along the sides, the inside soggy. The two stars are because of a young waiter who understood that this was not ok and he kindly offered me a small sorbet. Not a recommendation for me.

26/07/2025: The place is okay, but the staff doesn't react to a loud guest who plays music that everyone in the place has to listen to. Muslim songs don't make the stay or vacation more enjoyable.

16/08/2025: Looking at the reviews, I thought it was a nice place. In fact, I drove an hour and a half to come and have dinner at your restaurant. I ate there with my wife and daughter. I sat down at 9 pm. I waited three quarters of an hour for a waitress to come and take my order. I hadn't noticed something until as soon as I turned around, I noticed the poor hygiene. You can't go on like this without a shred of cleanliness. Okay, another hour passes and the food arrives for my daughter, a pata pizza for my wife and me. A somewhat good seafood appetizer, but now comes the worst: my wife and I get the first course, which was a first course of pasta with fish and pasta with clams. My wife and I didn't even have time to finish them and immediately threw up, and our daughter had diarrhea for a week and was hospitalized at the Cannizzaro hospital in Catania with food poisoning. You don't even deserve a star, not to mention the prices and the terrible service. 07/08/2025: We had dinner this evening for three at the Javj restaurant in the old station. We had a fish-based dinner... Everything was excellent, delicious, and the products were high-quality... the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable... the owner was kind, helpful, and very professional. We will return to Javj as soon as possible... absolutely recommended.

03/09/2025: I've dined at this lovely pizzeria several times. In the summer, it's set among the trees in a garden, and in the winter, in the spacious rooms inside a farmhouse. The pizza is excellent, both in size and quality of ingredients. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

I tried a sandwich, which was very good, and the fries were also tasty and crispy. The place is large, with plenty of tables, but I recommend making a reservation because it gets very busy. In addition to sandwiches, they also make pizzas and have an excellent selection of craft and unique beers, suitable for all tastes. Recommended!

The only negatives are the service, which is a bit slow, and the fact that they don't handle separate bills at the cash register. This can be inconvenient, especially when you're in a group with friends, where you often want to split the bill evenly. This would be a significant improvement worth considering.

15/03/2025: I really enjoyed the pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the space in front where you can comfortably enjoy your pizza or wait in the shade if you prefer to take it away.
